When you walk in, you'll be assaulted with floor to ceiling displays of toys in the best way possible. I could see how it could be overwhelming for some, but I loved it. Felt so magical. I stopped in while in the area to get some ideas for holiday gifts and ended up getting my auntie gift duties done here. It's a very large space spanning three different areas, with the areas categorized by theme/age. You'll find everything from plushies to puzzles and everything in between here. Truly so many options for all ages (even those harder to shop for tween/early teen ages). I found some adorable play kitchen items for my 1yo niece, and some sweet dinosaur and car toys for my 3yo nephew here. I also love that I could browse, try things out, test quality, etc here unlike shopping online. I even found something for myself here! I was introduced to the magic of NeeDoh and had to get one. Now I already want to go back and test out some others to get. Service was very friendly - I asked for some recommendations for my niece's age, and one team member walked me through options. During checkout, another was very kind. Prices were reasonable, and I'd much rather spend my money locally than on Amazon this holiday season. Highly recommend swinging in to check this place out for holiday shopping season - shop local!

I was a little overwhelmed with all the stuff to look at and decide on for birthday gifts. I had read that they had Needoh Ice cube but was disappointed that they didn't have them available. I'm incredibly disappointed and honestly heartbroken over an experience I recently had with Hub…read moreHobby regarding my Traxxas T-Maxx/X-Maxx RC truck. I dropped the truck off for repair, and while I understood repairs can sometimes take a while, the process took a very long time. Eventually, I received one phone call letting me know the repair had been completed. Unfortunately, after 90 days of not picking it up, I later learned that the truck had been surrendered. What's hardest for me to understand is that I never received a second phone call, voicemail, warning, or any kind of notice that my truck was about to be surrendered. Not one. What makes this especially frustrating is that over the years I've received numerous phone calls from the store over much smaller things -- special-ordered parts, minor items, and other routine pickups. So it's difficult for me to understand why there wasn't more effort made to contact me over something worth nearly $2,000 and carrying so much personal value. This hobby store means a lot to me personally. My late father used to take me there when I was younger, and some of my best memories with him came from spending time there together. These days, I love bringing my own two children there and sharing the same hobby with them. That's why this situation feels so devastating. It wasn't just an RC truck to me. It represented years of memories, time, money, and something meaningful I shared across generations of my family. I understand businesses have policies, and I'm not trying to attack anyone personally. I just truly wish more effort had been made before permanently surrendering something that clearly meant so much to a longtime customer. I still hope there's some way this situation can be made right.

The quality wasn't the greatest but it was free so I'll take what I can get. Since the store wasn't super busy on a Tuesday night my friend and I got some nice recommendations from the guy that was working in the store. My colleague tends to play party games so his lighter multiplayer recommendations made sense. My partner on the other hand prefers heavy euros but I didn't feel like asking about those this time around although I did see them carry some heavier games. There were a group of older adults playing a board game on the long tables in the back. I remember reading about magic the gathering nights so I imagine it might be nice to play here during weeknights when the mall isn't super busy. Also I noticed Games by James sponsored a play area for kids right next to the store. There's giant Jenga, connect 4 and bean bags to keep the little ones occupied while you shop.

With my return to the office becoming imminent, I knew the chips were down when it came to obtaining brain reset tools. One of my favorites is a good brain teaser, so Rush Hour was the order of the day. Being who I am, I was instantly distracted by all of the familiar old friends. I was lucky that Nathaniel was the one showing me where to find Rush Hour. The man knew everything about each one of the games that I was curious about. He even showed me games that were related to my old favorites (Arkham Horror, namely). I didn't get any of the wonderful cooperative games today, but I know I will be back when I find my game crew. This is a fantastic place to go for anyone who enjoys board games, card games, and puzzles.

There were only 2 people working at the time and they were both at the stations building cars with customers. This is for sure the type of place that could benefit from having a greeter or just someone that can just help answer questions while waiting. I feel like after waiting 10 or so minutes we kind of lost interest as the line never moved and we were still unsure about a few things. Would maybe circle back later on if my little cousins show interest again.

I was lured in by the young man racing a radio controlled car our in front. It started out well, everything was fun, bright and colorful cars, lots of customization options. I watched families play with toy cars, I priced out several models, and seriously was trying to figure what to get. Perhaps I talked to the employees a bit much, old people do tend to over talk the staff, we get a bit lonely. But I was really enjoying the place. (even if it was a bit overpriced for what it is, think theme park toys) Imagine my shock when the staff got a call from the manger (who watches the employees remotely on a camera) that I was to be considered a loiterer (I spent too much time shopping and not buying fast enough you see) and was to leave the store. Staff apologized to me, but I had to go. I'll take my 800+ credit rating and my stack of empty credit cards to a real RC shop that does not treat customers like dairy cattle. Avoid, you can get better RC cars from a company that does not treat potential customers like panhandlers. Really disappointed, I wanted to bring my partner and I in to buy cars this weekend. But we will go someplace where we are wanted. They call this the "Build a Bear" of RC cars. But I've spent a lot of money at build a bear and NEVER been treated like this.
