Amazing smoke shop in Midtown Detroit! Flash Smoking has everything you could possibly need in one place. Huge selection of vapes, tobacco, glass, CBD, THC products, drinks, and accessories. The store is always clean, well organized, and fully stocked. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help and explain products without rushing you. Prices are very fair compared to other smoke shops, and the quality is always on point. If you're near downtown or the Fox Theatre area, this is definitely the best smoke shop around. Highly recommended -- I'll keep coming back for sure! read more

You have to be kidding me. I'm glad this place is around. Now I can get a 1 lb bag of loose tobacco and whatever else I need without having to drive to the burbs. Honestly, I'm not surprised they have a decent selection - what else would they fill up this space with? How else would they keep open in downtown Hamtramck? If you need something other than a crusty old pack of whatever, then go here. You won't be disappointed!

The greenhouse itself is huge, well organized, and surprisingly easy to shop despite how much they have. I'd honestly love to see what the selection looks like even earlier in May, though planting too early in Michigan always feels a little risky. Prices felt very fair too, especially compared to some of the hanging basket and planter prices at local markets and pop-ups. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.

Our landscape firm recommended that we go to Telly's to select a special red maple for an area on…read moreour property that is outside where our landscaper's work. We found a beautiful specimen, bought it and contracted to Telly's to plant it. This was in September of 2025. Now seven months later, the specimen is dead. We took pictures to the store and I spoke to the person who sold me the tree originally. He told me he needed to consult an "expert". I was introduced to another man who looked at my pictures and fairly immediately diagnosed that there was something wrong with our soil and that is what killed the tree. He indicated that their warranty did not cover disease. He showed me the treatment for the soil and explained how to do it. We spent $90 on this treatment. After consulting with our landscaper, there were several things that were suggested, but here's the most important one. The tree dying so quickly would suggest that the disease may have been in the potted plant's soil WHEN it was planted. The landscaper found it unusual that if the disease were newly introduced to the plant from our soil that it would have died so quickly. At any rate, we will never buy another specimen tree like this from Telly's. This experience really felt like a "setup" between the two employees. We had to speak to the guy who knows how to "sell" this whole soil disease excuse. As consumers, we were in no position to argue. We'd suggest that you be very careful buying an expensive specimen from Telly's and risking having your money go up in smoke in just a few months time!
