So, this is a family owned business--mom and dad do the books; the son does repairs (with help). Mom answers the office line and is super cheerful, dad is hilarious and really kind. Chance, the son, knows his stuff when it comes to gates. We knew that our gate--which was installed by previous homeowners--wasn't great, but Chance gave us details on how to "reboot" it on our own, along with helpful tips to extend the life of the setup. I found their prices more than reasonable for a service call, as well. Again, small business, so your mileage may vary if you need something major done. However, they are more than competent and kind.

We just had a brand new fence put in by Redstone Fencing that cost over $7,000. Several of the posts have major cracks in them and at least 30 of the pickets are split right where they were attached. This is not our first fence, we understand some splitting is normal, but this beyond that. We emailed pictures of the issues to them with only a basic response of we'll give you some pickets. They denied any responsibility and never even came back to look at the posts. They were polite, just not at all helpful. If you're making this type of an investment in a relatively small fence, I would definitely look for a more experienced company. Redstone puts all the right sayings on their web page about building relationships, being pros, etc.... It's just not true. There are several other fence company choices, choose one of them.

What a bad experience that I have to see every single day. Ruco was not the cheapest quote I had…read morereceived to fence my property. The old fence was removed and replaced in a single day, which was worrying. Within days the fence pickets were warping. One of the owners of Ruco came out and took photos, sent them to the lead installer. Comments were made about how these materials didn't seem to compare to what they normally see. Ruco scheduled his team to come repair. The attitude of the lead installer was poor, defensive. After picking out many boards that needed to be replaced, they ran out of nails. I supplied their team with coils of nails for their nail guns so they could attempt to finish the work, they ran out of pickets. After leaving I called Ruco back, asking for further action. When the owner came out we looked at the fence again, pointing out a few different things such as an entire panel that was bowed "what do you want me to do, replace the entire section?" I shouldn't have to ask, you should install a quality product. We scheduled another service, the owner came out instead of his team with a stack of boards and a hammer fit for a grade schooler. I set up my own chop saw and cut boards for him, sad. There is more sadness to the story, that I don't have the urge to keep this going. After multiple attempts to erect a visibly appealing fence, we all gave up. Ruco wants to get in and out, quantity over quantity. Poor product No craftsmanship Bad service Over priced
