I am honestly sad to be writing this! My family has been with State Farm for YEARS. We are talking…read morearound 20 years. When we moved up from Arizona to CDA, Idaho it felt like home to go with Brian Goetz. Personally, I was on my parents insurance on a family plan. I spent about 9 years with this agency. When my parents moved, I continued to stay with this agent and location. They greeted me by name when I would call (even though the obvious caller ID, it was still nice!). I always spoke with male agents there who were extremely helpful. A few months ago there was a lady who started answering the phone. When I had a situation I needed help with, she was rude and unhelpful. When I was told she would call me back with answers I would never get a call back. I was very frustrated. Then, after getting a ticket and needing and having her send over to Boise proof of me having insurance so my license would be reinstated, everything became worse. She told me my insurance would expire and they would no longer be able to service me. I asked her why she told Boise otherwise, and she said it was a favor to me so I could get my drivers license back. This put me in jeopardy of having to almost pay another reinstatement fee. On top of that she completely mislead me and told me I would be able to get the changes in my insurance plan that I needed. She kept on the fact that it was a favor to me. But, this was a straight lie and did not help the situation what so ever. She never apologized or even acknowledged the fact that I had been a customer for so long. It felt like she was happy to get rid of me. The customer services went from the most amazing for so long to complete worthless crap. They really need to fire that lady and I plan on writing a letter to Brian. Even if it is policy that they will not insure certain people, she did not need to lie to me and boise DMV in the process to supposedly "help me out".
