It's no wonder I got in quickly when I needed an appointment; the office is empty and no one goes back for a second appointment. Not sure why this lady decided to be a doctor. She has zero compassion and her attitude is like she wishes she could be anywhere else but talking to her patients. I felt like she wasn't really listening to me, though she did take a significant amount of time during my appointment to complain about President Trump. She wanted me to know she is so anti-Trump that she goes to protests and Indivisible meetings, and here I thought I was going to Dr. Lisabeth Hall to get some medical advice. Who knew she was a political expert, too? This appointment was all about Dr. Hall, and I'm not sure why I was charged for it. I question whether she knows what she's doing - maybe it was a stalling method to hide her lack of knowledge. Save yourself some time and find a doctor who can give you the attention you deserve, because who needs another narcissist. They refuse to provide pricing for their service offerings. As an example, going for a "physical" only allows you to talk about four specific things (chronic health issues, preventative care, vaccines, and prescriptions). Any other topics will be billed ad hoc and you can't get a price list to figure out what the billing might be. They hide behind saying they don't set the prices, that's on the insurance company. Regardless, they'll ask you to agree to pay for something before you know the price. I can't imagine going to any other type of provider and having them refuse to estimate prices before you agree to services.

Coal Creek Family Medicine exemplifies what is broken in modern medicine, based on my experience…read more While I would rate the clinical staff as slightly below average (approximately 3/10--many appear burned out and insufficiently trained), the administrative side of the practice is profoundly incompetent, unresponsive, and unprofessional (0/10). Even the most basic visits--such as routine annual wellness/annual physical exams--are repeatedly billed incorrectly, with improper codes submitted to insurance. This has happened to me two years in a row. Each time, the result has been hundreds of dollars out of pocket and significant time wasted correcting errors that should never have occurred. I raised these issues multiple times directly with my physician and with Audrey, the practice manager. There has been zero response and no attempt to resolve the problem. If this is how the practice handles routine preventive care, I cannot imagine how poorly it would perform if a patient were genuinely ill or required ongoing medical attention. Frankly, socialized medicine in a third world country would be preferable to the dysfunction I've experienced here. I do not recommend Coal Creek Family Medicine.
