We had a group of 9 girls, we pre-arranged all the services with the owner and showed up at 12:45 for our 1pm-3:45pm appointments. When we were "greeted" they asked us to take a seat and relax, but we were not shown where all the amenities were or where to wait. We were never asked to sign waivers/contracts AND NEVER asked if we had allegories before facials or massages. We took a seat in the main waiting area, and then they called two of our girls for their massages. We had to grab one of the workers to show us the red-light room, steam, and sauna areas because we were told we would be able to use those while we waited. Mitzy honestly redeemed the initial interaction with her hospitality - she showed us around and grab us some non-alcoholic champagne. She then tried to grab two other girls for a facial, but quickly realized she had no idea what we had booked and neither did we. Upon trying to look at the website to clarify services, all of the options we were initially presented with were completely different. Furthermore, the communication between the owner and the staff was absolutely terrible, and the communication between staff and customers was worse (besides Mitzy). Everyone's massages (although booked the same) were different. One of our girls actually got exposed for a prolonged period of time while getting her massage for no spoken reason. The facials were using products from amazon, and were subpar for the price. There were multiple instances where staff was overheard saying "what's a 20 min scalp massage" "what add ons are you talking about" "eucalyptus and hot towels, whatever that is" to each other. They had no idea what the services on their website were or how to provide them. Myself and another girl had placed our clothes in the corner and when our massage was done they said "sorry we're out of robes, so just get dressed" and the girl and I were left to figure out how to give each other privacy while retrieving our clothes. Upon checking out there was multiple discrepancies in pricing. Two girls got the same services and one was $130 dollars and the other was $250. This place is a joke, feels like the owner got a couple of friends together and was like hey I need you to work today for me. The owner actually asked us to leave a good review because the last bachelorette trip they did left a bad one. While I would love to do that for a small business, I do not recommend going here, especially if it's for a group bigger than 2 people. Go somewhere else!!!!! read more

If I could leave a negative 5 star I would. My husband made an appointment for our couples massage as a surprise for my birthday. When we walked in no one was there to greet us. I was literally on the phone with them as we pulled up. After a bit someone came out and barely acknowledged us. We eventually signed consent forms then another person came out and said the therapist had taken another couple back thinking it was us. We NEVER saw another couple. There was barely an apology and absolutely no admission of incompetence on their part. I called the day before to confirm the appointment for our couples massage and the owner said "if I emailed you back then your appointment is confirmed" so when we showed up the next day and no one was at the establishment I was a tad confused. I called the owner.. no answer. I called another number... answered but completely unaware of an appointment for the day. The owner was supposed to call me back but I never received a call. This place is special first of all! I truly mean it's anointed with healing powers I know I probably sound silly but it truly is the most amazing spa I've ever been to. I feel lighter in my heart and mind not just my body! Jennifer did my massage we spoke on the anger I've been carrying from trauma and when I left I had no anger it felt like I could float! DO. NOT. BOOK. I booked 3 massages for me, my mom and mother in law. We show up at the appointment time and the doors are open and NO ONE IS THERE. We wait for 20 minutes before the owner finally calls us and tells us she sent the therapists to another cabin and they're on their way back. We wait for another hour and no one shows up. Two other people were also waiting for their appointment for 30 minutes. This was supposed to be relaxing yet we wasted an entire morning because the owner doesn't know how to run a business. We finally left. Please save yourself the trouble and book with literally any other spa in the area. Don't waste your time. read more

My daughters and I had an appointment for massages. I booked our spa day over a month in advance! We arrived on time and no one was there. I called the number and was told that the people ahead of us were very late so ours would be almost an hour late. Usually when people are late for a spa appt., they either have to reschedule or cut their massage short to make sure that the people following them are not made to wait, that didn't happen. The person on the phone said that we could use the steam room and red light room and have some wine while we waited however there was no one that greeted us or that even came out to speak with us for almost 20 minutes so we had no idea where to go or what to do. We literally sat there alone in the spa. When someone did finally come out to greet us, we were never offered an apology or even given an option other than waiting. We were so excited for our spa day and are extremely disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism. We left, got some Grateful Head pizza and went back to our cabin. I would not recommend this place unless you want to take the chance of either waiting for an hour after your appointment time or just leaving out of complete frustration. read more

We booked over a month or so out over the phone but they did not know what all our services entailed when we got there and also did not stay true to the price or the services that were booked. The individuals who provided our massages were overall kind and helpful. But it seems management is messy. My husband and I came in for a couples massage and soak. Overall it was a great time. The spa was a lot nicer inside than outside. They are under construction so things were a little messy. The massage was okay but not as good as others we had before. Just wished the masseuse had used more pressure. The soak was great but it was only 20 minutes and it took that long for the tub to fill. By the time the tub filled with water we only got a couple minutes to enjoy it before they knocked on the door to let us know time was up so that was a bummer. read more

We came to Broken Bow for a relaxing weekend and we were referred to this spa for a massage. We called to make an appointment and shorty after got a response from them via text. So, we made 2 appointments for 3:00 the following Monday. Confirmed... Monday came along and we showed up at 2:45 excited for a relaxing day. Come to find out, our reservations were somehow lost. The folks working there had no idea what was going on and their method of "scheduling" was scribbling on a sheet of paper. Absolute worst "experience" I've had at a spa. There was barely any apology and there was absolutely no form of reconciliation. I 100% would NOT recommend this place. If I could give ZERO stars I would. :( read more

I was worked on by one person and you could tell through every step of the way that she was dedicated to giving me the best experience possible. I'm from out of town, so it breaks my heart I can't be a regular. But I will absolutely be back to Broken Bow and I will be carving out a full day next time I'm back to spend here. My husband and I came today for the first time. He was very skeptical about the price, lack of reviews, price, location, etc. This place needs a little improvement and maybe for now the price is a little high. 103.00 for 60 minutes. Very little information on the website. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. At first I thought the room was a little bright. The music was a little loud. There is room for improvement. I think $60.00 would be more fair for now. Hope they improve with some ambiance. My massage therapist was very good. Just go with an open mind for now. They have a medical spa but since I work for a plastic surgeon I can't recommend since a doctor is not on site. Not sure about going for a medical treatment. read more

My husband and I booked the Oasis massage pkg. It was suppose to be a 20 min soak, 90 min massage and red light therapy facial. The 20 min soak is in a regular tub that you have to adjust the water temp to your liking. Our total visit was 90 minutes. There was no red light therapy facial. They offer robes but we had to walk from one area to another in our bare feet and the floor is not clean. This experience was not relaxing or enjoyable. I would definitely not recommend this place. read more

We booked the Couples Oasis package as a special rare treat while we were visiting Hochatown for a few days. The staff was friendly and courteous, our massages were good. However, we did not receive the services represented in the package details. We did receive a facial, but not the sea salt facial massage with red light wrinkle therapy. We did not receive the total body exfoliation and polish under Vichy shower, hand and foot reflexology or chocolate-covered strawberries. The soaking tubs are agricultural stock tanks for livestock, not bath tubs as pictured at all! When we inquired about not receiving the body exfoliation and Vichy shower, we were told the shower was out of order. We were charged full price and were not offered any refund or compensation for not receiving the advertised package. A VERY expensive and disappointing experience. read more

I hate to leave a negative review but this was such a terrible experience. I hope this information will be used to improve services. We were booked for pedicures. This was the worst "pedicure" I have ever had. We soaked in warm water and there was a pleasant "scrub" applied. No nail trim, no foot massage(lotion was applied) and no polish. There WAS NO POLISH available. No supplies. The "technician" brought a bag of her own stuff which included store bought nail polish remover. We were told the last person there "cleaned out" the nail supplies! Yet we were charged full price and that was overpriced. NEGATIVE REVIEW:: I AM A LOCAL & WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! I went into this establishment yesterday (7-7-20) and spoke with the receptionist to make an appointment for today (7-8-20) at 1pm to get a couples massage with my sister as a treat. I arrive at the establishment today 15 minutes early for our appointment. We walk in and no one greets us. We eventually see a teenage looking blonde girl sleeping on the couch with a blanket and pillow. The blonde girl stirs after we have been inside for a few minutes just waiting. She sits up sleepily, yawns, stretches, wipes her eyes and asks us what we're here for. We tell her that we have a 1pm appointment. She doesn't say anything to us or even really look at us. She just hands us forms to fill out and tells us we can sit in the massage chairs while we wait. She then goes back to couch lays down, covers back up and plays on her phone the entire time. We sit and wait until about 1:38 and a middle aged gentleman walks in. The blonde receptionist doesn't jump up and greet the gentlemen. He wonders around the establishment for a bit. He even asks us if we know who's in charge here. We pointed to the blonde girl still on the couch. She finally uncovers herself, puts down her phone & gets up and speaks with him. He has no appointment. (We can overhear every .) He fills out his paper work and almost immediately there after a massage therapist (LMT) walks out and takes him back for a "quick neck massage". Finally at about 1:45, we see the same lady LMT/Receptionist we made the appointment with yesterday (7-7-20). She comes up to me and my sister (yes -we are still in the massage chairs in the lobby - yes the blonde girl is still on the couch). This very nice lady then tells us that the owner of the establishment cancelled our appointment because we didn't make the appointment with her directly. I explained I wasn't upset at her. This poor employee clearly didn't want to be the bearer of bad news. However it was clear that this establishment WASTED MY TIME for over an hour to tell us about our cancelled appointment. Simply Because this so called owner insisted this nice lady be the one to tell us personally how bad SHE had "messed up." Regardless of services NOT rendered. Or the fact that I HAVE NEVER WALKED into ANY business and found the waitress, pharmacist, cashier, receptionist, nurse, ASLEEP with their own blanket, pillow, book, drink, earbuds, and phone on the couch!!! I'm kicking myself for not walking out of that 2AM Snuggie Commercial IMMEDIATELY. But I really wanted a fun day at the spa with my pregnant sister! The receptionist being asleep bothers me on such an insane level. But the WORST part of all is that this owner clearly doesn't have respect for her employees or her paying customers ($120 for each of us!) The BIGGEST PROBLEM I have is that "This Owner" WASTED my time on purpose so that the LMT who took my reservation could be publicly shamed and forced to apologize for something that wasn't her fault to begin with. I don't want to spend one PENNY on a business that rules it's employees with the Scarlet Letter Tactic. That's not just a bad business - that's a bad person. People shouldn't treat people like that! The simple fact that the owner of this establishment wasted my time because the owner wanted to publicly humiliated this lady is BEYOND baffling. The very nice LMT/Receptionist who made our appointment yesterday and who was beyond apologetic. If I find out that anything bad befalls this lady I will be LIVID and all hell will break lose. We were in town for the weekend booked a spa day. Sabra was very helpful in communicating about the services offered and booking our appointments 2 weeks in advance. Very relaxing when you walk in, great atmosphere and ambiance. I booked a soak, facial and massage and my friend booked a massage and pedicure. We both enjoyed the massages by Bill and Ronda! The soak was very relaxing and would do it again! The person scheduled for the pedicure never showed up so we cannot give a review on that, except it was time wasted and unprofessional, my friend sat with her feet in the water for about 15 min and with no communication decided to pass on waiting any longer. I was most disappointed in the facial, I booked the red light facial and charged $149 for a mask, moisturizer, brief neck massage and red light instrument for 3 min, did not even wash my face to start? When originally scheduled I thought the pricing was a little high but we were going for the experience -facial was extremely overpriced and underwhelming. According to Bill they have only been open for about 6 months - some improvements needed. Boutique was nice and looks like a great group area on the back porch - might check out the progress next time we are in town - cute place, has lots of potential! read more

We had a ladies (9) weekend lined up and were driving from the DFW area. One of our group members worked effortlessly to arrange massages at the place we were renting; there was a small fee, per person, to have the massage therapists come to us. We had no issue paying the fee. Eight of the nine ladies committed to services. Therapists were scheduled to arrive at a certain time and set up to provide services to the first four ladies in the first hour, and the to the second four ladies in the second hour. We were told four therapists had been lined up to provide the services. At the appointed arrival time, no one showed up. After about 15 minutes, and still no therapists, the member of our group who had arranged everything started trying to contact the establishment via phone and text, as she had done prior to our arrival, in making the arrangements. After approximately 20 minutes or so, contact was finally made and we were told the therapists should have already arrived. This person was going to try to contact the therapists. In the mean time, no therapist tried to make contact with our contact person, with any explanation of their tardiness; lost, traffic, accident, etc. With a few intermittent exchanges, and the therapists still not on property, time kept passing. When all was said and done, approximately one hour had passed (an hour past the first appointment time) and we were then told that there were two openings AT the spa that would be held for us at 2pm. It was 1:45 pm at this time and our rental was more than 15 minutes away from the spa. Our contact person had provided a deposit for each of us prior to arrival and was told that would be refunded. It was extremely unprofessional that so much time had passed and no contact was initiated by this establishment TO our group of any problems or issues with our booking. Our contact had to initiate ALL conversations regarding this issue and we were never given any reason why this happened. It's disconcerting to have paid a deposit and booked four massage therapists to provide services and then have them not show up and not even initiate any contact regarding their unprofessional behavior. Again, we were never provided a reasonable explanation as to what happened. We all just went with the flow and continued about our day enjoying one another's company, but it was disheartening to have had one of our group spend so much time setting up massages for everyone and, this being an integral part of our R&R weekend, have it not happen. I would not recommend this business. Communication is key and it appears that isn't a strong point with this establishment. read more

So it was a real pleasure to find a quality spa that measured up to my expectations while I was here on vacation. I highly recommend these folks. We were referred to this spa by another spa who was full. Communication and booking were easy and we booked a couples massage. They required us to pay for the entire service to confirm the appointment which I thought was kind of weird but no biggie since it was a last minute appointment (less than 24 hours). We arrive for our appointment and are told they are running about 25 minutes behind. Again no biggie. The place was super cute and smelled great. We wait in a massage chair which was really comfortable. It's now time for our massage. The person who massages me does not seem like she knows what she is doing. I can hear her whispering to the other person to I guess get tips on how to massage me. Even with tips from the other person it felt like I simply paid this person to put oil on me with just one hand. Not sure what she was doing with her other hand but it was not used very often. The massage was not worth the $125/person. I do however give the place 2 stars as both massage therapists were extremely nice and my boyfriend said his massage was really good but I still don't think any of it was worth the price. read more
