I've hesitated to make this review. I hate to make a…read morenegative review, but had I seen something like this prior to going, I may not have made the 20+ minute trip over there. My mom and I were so excited to drive over to King and check out this shop. We brought my daughter and niece as well. Upon entering a worker came to us and gave us the whole run-down. It's a consignment shop, so nothing really to "learn." The conversation was unnecessary. This store only has three rooms total. One with smaller clothes. One with plus size. And one with shoes/bags. There are items super high up, even at 5'9", I would have needed to ask for help to retrieve those items if I wished to purchase them. It was difficult to shop with more than 5 or so people in the store because everyone was constantly on top of each other. The clothes I found that were pretty in my size were brands from Hamricks with prices higher than Hamricks ever dared. I did score three items from the front porch $2 rack and one more item that I had to argue over because it came from a 75% off rack where it rang up 50% off instead. The workers were so scattered. One young lady was trying to focus on one customer at a time while another worker was constantly moving the girls items, messing with stuff, and moving things. It was so chaotic at checkout. From the 15ish minutes we were in the store, it triggered a headache that I couldn't shake the rest of the day. We all got back in the car thankful we came and saw, but unfortunately will not be back. Don't let the nice Facebook posts and videos fool you. This place was chaos!

They also have a nice assortment of ribbon to make personalized ribbons of any size. I like that they carry extra large mailbox covers and that's why I stop in when we're in town. They had a lot to choose from. They also had regular sized mailbox covers and yard flags. I love walking around in there. They give a military discount on "most" items. And also have a discount if you pay cash.

Spoke to the owner via Facebook this past Thursday & made arrangements to buy flowers for my…read moregrandmothers grave and she was saving them for me . I let her know I lived an hour away so she was aware of this . Apparently at some point she lost power due to the hurricane which is totally understandable and I would've understood if I was told and would've planned to come another weekend . Not finding out after I was already in Pilot Mt at that point that she still had no power and I even went by the store and sat for about 20 mins and after no response back for awhile I left and bought some somewhere else . I made a review on fb and the owner wanted to argue back and forth along with a lady named Lisa Evans and making it seem like I'm the issue here . I will not be back and it's so unprofessional! ** And then the fact that the owner and the Lisa girl want to say I never came by and then the Lisa girl send a gif saying happy dance saying she's glad I won't be back says it all . You can get in and out in under an hour. Staff was helpful. I was looking for some tobacco tins and their collection is amazing. I found a tin I had never seen before and checked the online price before I bought it. Both online and in the store was $29 so they clearly do their research when pricing. Wide range of items in great condition with little to no reproductions. If I find myself in the area, I will make it a point to visit this store again.
