Best customer service I have had in a long time. This is not the typical shoe store that just gives you the size shoe you asked for. I actually didn't come into buy shoes, but insoles for my shoes. Eric took his time to fit me correctly. He brought multiple options over and made sure I walked in all of them before making sure I had the right ones. He didn't force me to buy new shoes (even though mine look pretty worn), but said if my condition didn't improve he would fit me for new ones. Went to store 12/29/20 to purchase new sneakers since I've gotten back to running since recovering from plantar fasciitis. The lady who waited on me , I believe her name was Pria. Very unprofessional, nonchalant and not knowledgeable at all . They do a 3D analysis of your feet and email it . NEVER received it. Took sneakers back due to sneakers were to big in toe box area. I have a narrow foot . customer service was shitty from her. Spoke with manager , his response basically was sorry everyone has a bad day !!! I have been referred to Fleet feet sports by a few people. I have degenerative Disc Disease and two herniated discs- So my Orthopedic suggested I try shoes with more support than most. I am a runner, and was running 5 miles in an hour. Needless to say, when my back decided to "give out" I had to put a halt on running for awhile. So, I finally broke down and went in and boy am I so glad I did! The sales rep who assisted me was Megan and she was great! Was extremely helpful, and took her time! I didn't feel like I was in a rush, which was extremely nice! Most places are.. Alright this shoe fits awesome! Here ya go and bye! But I got to try on numerous different shoes- I even ran on the treadmill with two separate shoes on! LOL! But I am beyond glad I came in! I recently had a bad experience with Erik, one of the owners of Fleet Feet. I just happened to be in on the day of their Diva Night where select items were to be 20% off, the same items I was going to buy. I asked the clerk if they would honor the discount now since I had to work during their special event. The clerk went to the back to ask Erik and came back saying that he said I would have to be at the event and that, "that was the point". I said I had to work and asked if my husband could come during the event to buy the items. Again the clerk went back to Erik and returned with a no, that you had to be a female. Ok... They were really making this hard! Especially considering that I had organized a running group through my church and had brought them all in to Fleet Feet for a seminar (and they all bought stuff!). So I had to arrange for my sister to come up for my stuff. Give me a break! Later the girls working up front apologized and said that Erik had had a change of heart after I'd left and decided he should have allowed it. Ya' think?!? I thought it strange that as apologetic as the girls were Erik couldn't be bothered to speak to me. I was really hoping to make Fleet Feet my running go-to store, to you know, support the little guy and all, but this treatment is really making me rethink that. read more

Only running shoe store in the Altamonte/Longwood area. Like the store and selection, and pretty much just runner's stuff. Good analysis of your feet, stride and needs from the staff. Have been three times. Brendan was totally on the ball, even though he was busy after 6pm. Got my running shoes one night, came back and got insoles a few nights later. He was friendly, knowledgeable and impressed he could handle that many people at once. Even cut my insoles for me for a better fit. I'm an active runner and was going out of town to find a running shoe store. Will use this Altamonte store from now on. Great experience. Best of luck. read more

I went to Fleet Feet in altamonte looking for a versatile shoe that could be for running as well as every day wear. I don't know about shoe brands or what is good for certain things so I went in hoping I would find what I needed. Kia met with me me and was super helpful, patient and was very knowledgeable. You get the full experience at Fleet Feet. Kia had me walk barefoot so he could see my natural stride and how my feet moved and settled then I got a 3D scan of my feet which was really neat. He grabbed the best options for the type and shape of my feet (with the colors requested) and showed me some inserts that would benefit my high arch (I had no idea I had a high arch lol) All in all I had a fantastic visit and left with a new pair of shoes, socks and extra inserts for my work shoes. (It made a world of difference and is so much more comfortable!) I will definitely be coming back. Thanks you guys! read more

Even thought I purchased the same brand I normally get, turns out I was buying the wrong style of shoe and a definately noticed a huge difference. Craaaaaaazy small, and when I was in the store it was very cramped. I wasn't really impressed with their shoe wall; it looked like they had maybe 12 styles each for men and women. And, unfortunately, the way the store "experience" is set up they didn't have anyone to answer questions except for the fitters, who were busy. The only acknowledgment we got when we walked in was a terse "You here for shoes?" They did have a good selection of sports bras, but the rest of the apparel selection was very limited. This is the best shoe store I've found in the greater Orlando area! I was recently fitted for orthotics d/t supination and needed a supportive shoe. Holly was very knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. She measured my feet, asked questions about my shoe needs, then patiently brought many pairs of shoes from the stock room. She helped me try on each pair, offering helpful advice along the way. I bought two pairs of shoes and some great socks that offer arch support they had on sale. Since I'm on my feet all day these shoes will be a lifesaver! read more

I've been a loyal customer for years but after today's visit I won't go back. Yes the store was busy but after standing around for 15 mins with no one even acknowledging I was there I left. Prior to leaving I noticed only by chance that they were taking names at the register. Yet not one person told me this or acknowledged I was in the store. I had to update my review because after wearing my shoes for two weeks I started to hate them as they were rolling over the outside. Typically I would have just thrown them away and moved on but I remembered that the store said if I didn't like them I could return them and they would work with me. So I did something I never do and took them back. Despite the shoes having been worn quite a bit they took them back and I found some different shoes that I like much more. It was no problem. Great customer service, great staff, and they have an excellent shoe fitting process. I see many runner's with injuries and struggling with their pain, and as a part of my Running Injury and Plantar Fasciitis programs, I send them to Fleet Feet to get fitted for the proper shoe before returning to running and competition. I cant say enough good things about the Altamonte store location. I have always had trouble with my feet and I was in serious pain all day. I recently started a weight loss program so I needed new shoes. I was fitted and tried a pair that was too tight by my toes. I exchanged the shoes for a size up. No problem. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and I am pretty sure it's because I haven't been running at all over the past six years. I am still young enough that I can eat pretty much eat whatever I want as long as I do enough in the gym but I haven't been doing much cardio. We are in transition so I think the fastest way for me to get back into shape is going to be running long distance again. My mom recommend the place because she noticed they were sponsors at an event that her charity (New Hope for Kids) was involved in. I take advice from both the parents when it comes to running because they are both multiple marathon runners and have a ton of experience with training. She told me that they do a fitting session and that they will put me on a treadmill and work with me until we find a shoe that fits perfect. Sure enough, when I got there the staff members were very friendly and we got to work right away. The whole process was about a half hour and it was a great learning experience for me. I tried several different brands as we went through the process. The treadmill is hooked up to some cameras so they can record your strides and analyze your feet at impact. Then then determine where you need the extra support and fit you to your custom specs. I have gone out for two 3-5 mile runs so far and I love my shoes. All in all, Fleet Feet Sports is amazing and I recommend them especially if you need new running shoes. read more

This company is very comparable to Track Shack. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon because Track Shack is closed on Sundays. I received good service and I was fitted well for a pair of running shoes. The employee was friendly and spent over 2 hours with me as I tried on shoes and sports bras. Never once did she make me feel rushed. She would suggest additional products or accessories but wasn't too pushy. I was starting to rack up a couple hundred dollars of merchandise and with today's technology age was double checking prices and availability online. I asked if they could price match the products and they refused. I asked if they would at least be willing to honor the sale on the sports bras that ended just the day before and refused. I asked to speak to a manager twice but was ignored. This is the first company I have ever come across that wasn't willing to honor their own sale 1 day before and 1 day after the promotional period. For the exact same products I was going to save 40 dollars if I ordered through an online company and shipping was free. Or I could save 30 dollars if I wait till the following day to go to Track Shack. I was so disappointed that I left and purchased the products online that evening. With the money I saved I was able to buy an additional sports bra! I think this place is great in terms of quality products and to try before you buy, but don't expected to save any money. read more

There are a lot of shoe stores, but there is only one (Fleet Feet) that is going to give you the type of service and attention you need when picking out running shoes. As I entered the store, I was greeted by an employee who was extremely well versed and knowledgeable about the brands/types of shoes they offered. He never made a suggestion without giving a detailed reason for why he thought a particular shoe would be good for me. I tried on several shoes, added inserts, took them for a test run and found exactly what I was looking for. Going here is a completely different experience than walking into other stores and "trying" find what shoe is best for me. I will make the drive (over 25 miles) to buy my shoes and running gear from them from now on! Thank you for the help team Fleet Feet! read more

As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I had the benefit of having two employees help find the perfect shoe as one was being trained. They were patient, caring and helped me find the perfect shoe for my foot. They spent about 30-40 minutes measuring and analyzing my foot and figuring out the best shoe. When I walked I had a slight pain on my foot, now with the proper shoes and insoles, the pain has virtually disappeared. I am looking forward to running again. read more

I came here for a pair of running shoes and left with much more than I expected. Before coming here, I had just left Track Shack and purchased shoes from there. I wasn't too thrilled with the exprience and wanted to get a second opinion and more options. I was helped by Lauren and she was absolutely amazing. She started by asking what brougt me in there that day. She asked if I had any prior injuries or concerns and we did the normal measuring and check for arch support. Based on that she advised because of my lower arch, what type of shoe would be recommended. She recorded me running and determined the slight pronation in one leg. We tried on a couple of different pairs and I was given the opportunity to run with each pair. Much different from my experience at Track Shack where I was basically given a shoe but not provided with any further information on support, arch, shin splits, or anything. I didn't even get a chance to run in the shoes. After picking a pair, Lauren recommended cool socks (which I would have never guessed to be too important), a massage stick to help with tension, to look at the clothes, and even come back for a bra fitting. Lauren even showed me how to use the massage stick and my legs were instantly improved. I am definitely pleased with my visit and hope that Lauren is there when I need to come back. read more
