I am 74 years old and was very unsettled at the prospect of seeing a dentist. I asked a church friend if she had a recommendation, and she said she was very pleased with Dr. King. A few days later, I walked into the dental office and requested a future appointment, but to my surprise I was told to follow a young lady to a treatment room. Conclusion: Great Dentist; explains before she begins and as she proceeds with the treatment. All support staff were well trained, polite, and patient. This last time I was there 2 minutes. They never even looked at me. Walked in and said it will now take 3 days. So I found someone else and so when they called me that night she said I owed 285 for Nothing. And if I didn't psychological in 30 day's they will send to collection. WTH. Really. I also wanted a new upper partial. They said it would cost 2800.00 just for the mold and for them to have someone make it. Needless to say that filling (or small covering) fell off. Im guessing it didnt need to be there in the first place because my new dentist cant find where it went h said there is no cavity there. My most recent visit was to replace a bridge that has lasted me 15 yrs. I was hoping it would last longer but Doc did tell me a few years back that I was a teeth grinder which if left alone it would eventually start damaging existing teeth and maybe chipping others but I never did anything about it. So about 5 months ago I finally gave in and had him fit me for a night guard to help me with my snoring and teeth grinding and I'm only sorry I didn't get it done much sooner as I believe it would have saved some of my cracked teeth and the one that was chipped.I definitely sleep better at night with the guard (Silent Nite) and have found it to be a good investment. I also water pick my teeth now twice a day and keep up with my 6 mos visits.
