Flowers here were affordable and the best deal for the wedding I had. We needed 15 centerpieces, 4 bouquets, and so on... We met with Judy several times before the big day. She is always busy and you need to schedule appointments, drops won't work. Judy let us get our own vases, motif , and mirrors. That was pretty cool. My wife designed the vases and dropped them off with Judy a couple weeks prior to the big day. All Judy really did was advise us on flowers to order and deliver them. Here is why only three stars. The vases were dropped off at the wrong tables!!! The brides bouquet was the same size as her brides maids. Not worth the price of 75 dollars really. It looked no different from her bridesmaids bouquet . The flowers did not last past the night. Although flowers were taking care in the vases and bouquet they wilted the next morning. read more

When I first met her I was stressed out because my first florist quit on me (other commitments?!) 7 months before my wedding. I had talked to two others since the first and they all wanted me to up my budget because of my ballroom/glamor theme. Enter Judy...I told her my vision and I told her my price and she made it work. Not only was she organized, personable and detailed but her work is exquisite. She asked me select personal questions like if we as a couple had a special flower (white roses) and what our tastes were like. The taste was primarily my vision...cascading bling and fluffy white flowers. The bouquet were made to my theme colors and she selected flowers that were ruffled and romantic. She worked with us and listened carefully to the colors and types of flowers we wanted for our fall wedding. When we sat down with Judy, we told her our budget and instead of saying "no way, no how," she showed us exactly what she could do to fit everything we needed into the budget we had. Don't get me wrong, this does NOT mean she skimped on anything. She suggested we use flowers that were in season rather than having specific requests that she may not be able to get as readily. I had called a competitor for a quote on a boutonniere and a wrist corsage for my daughters winter formal . I couldn't think of the name of judys . I took a drive down the street which is right around the corner from my house and did a walk in. Much to my surprise she announced that there was a discount for roseville high school. Without the discount it was significantly cheaper than her competitor . the boutineer was absolutely lovely as was the wrist corsage. she had a basic option and then she had more expensive options that were available. we opted for simple roses but they were absolutely beautiful they matched my daughters dress and she was absolutely stunning Judy has a customer for life. I met with Judy about doing flowers for my wedding and was very impressed. She seemed very knowledgeable about flowers. After my appointment with her she sent me an estimate via e-mail. After a few emails back and forth, I sent her an email back telling her I wanted to book her for my wedding. She NEVER responded to my email. This was so frustrating! So rude and unprofessional not to respond to my email. I knew I had the right email address as I just hit "reply" to the last email she sent me. Judy, our florist at Fleurs de Jour, did an amazing job at our daughter's wedding. Her flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. Our family and guests thought the venue looked outstanding. The arrangements were exactly how we discussed: full, fresh, and romantic. The setting couldn't have looked more beautiful. She and her team exceeded our expectations. Judy made sure every detail was perfect. If she couldn't find the exact vase she was looking for, she would create it herself. Judy even dyed some of our flowers so the colors in the bouquets were exactly what we wanted. Good lord I don't even know where to begin... Judy is unreal! Living in San Francisco made it hard to come back and forth to see Judy before the wedding, but was this a problem for her? If it was, you would never know it! I gave poor Judy a tall order by purchasing over 50 mercury glass pieces to be used at the wedding and even though they were all different, she created a work of art grouping them together and creating centerpieces that blew my mind. She even agreed to bring them to the wedding herself which was way above and beyond her call of duty. When I first met with her, I gave her an idea of what I was thinking for colors and what I wanted, but I just couldn't come up with a good picture in my head. Then I found a link for a wedding I loved and sent it to her and guess what? She already had all of those flowers down anyway and she basically read my mind and had already put it together without me even knowing what I wanted! Amazing... All day long while getting ready, my sister and I could not wait to see our bouquets and when I saw mine, I almost started crying but then remembered the amount I had just spent on makeup and quickly sucked it up. It was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen....She even put in the more expensive flowers that I told her not to worry about and she did it anyway as a surprise and a nice gesture. The flowers were by far my favorite part of the wedding and I just wish the wedding could have been longer so I could stare at them for just a bit longer. And lastly, Judy is very budget conscious and affordable. She could make something spectacular in any budget and I appreciate her sensitivity about this. Judy....you're the bomb, baby!!! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Judy at Fleurs du Jour! I got married on September 19th of this year, and the flowers Judy put together for my wedding were exceptional. She was very easy to work with, had lots of great ideas, and always got back to me promptly when I emailed or called her. Judy is excellent! I had the challenge of finding a florist that could do all of what i envisioned in our price range, plus the difficulty of matching flowers to a coral/salmon wedding color! Matching to coral was a pain with most things in the planning. Judy was so great, she emailed me when she got some coral flowers in her shop for me to come out and look at. Same with some shades of yellow, so that I could see if those were the colors I wanted. This put me at ease seeing them ahead of time, given it was such a difficult color to match. I had printed pictures of different ideas I had for how I wanted the wedding to look and she was able to make each one happen. She checked with me as I was getting ready on the wedding day before starting to decorate the ceremony site and made sure I still wanted everything to get decorated as discussed. Then after she finished, she came back to me (as I was still getting ready) and told me everything she did. It was so sweet of her to go out of her way and make sure I was happy and it was everything I wanted before the wedding started. My bouquet came out beautifully and just as I had hoped. She also included a toss bouquet at no cost.
