They cold called me at my place of employment to try to offer other employment a few months back, and I stated in NO uncertain terms how invasive and ugly that practice is. Ultimately, that could get someone fired. Now, they're all of a sudden calling again on my cell phone, after I asked them to take me entirely off their call lists. I wouldn't trust them farther than I could throw them.

This does not seem to be a concern for ERG, as a recruiter cold called my current employers main office stating who he works for and that he wanted to speak with me. This is a completely unacceptable practice, and when I spoke with his superviser to address this, I was startled to hear that she showed no regard for their conspicuous and potentially job-threatening actions saying it was "common practice" to cold call someone's current employer in order to contact them about alternate employment.

I did manage to get a job through them but it was all the way in Green Bay (I distinctly told them I didn't want to drive that far) and at the time I had no choice because of my financial situation at the time. All around a terrible experience this isn't even the full extent of the problems with them. When it comes to your lively hood don't put any faith in them it's a real possibility you won't get paid on time.
