(The compression pipes to the boiler were not properly tightened and leaked causing damage.) When I contacted K P Evans they refused to acknowledge this fact nor accept any responsibility. Despite being a long standing customer I received absolutely zero customer service. Eventually, I had to sue them in the small claims court where I was awarded the full amount of compensation for the damage plus costs.

I was very happy with the quote given and was kept updated by the lovely Sue, who was always available by email and phone. They went above and beyond in getting the window fitted very quickly for me, as I was struggling to heat my home during winter 2021 due to the large hole created for the window. To do so they fitted me in on a Saturday. A few weeks later my two doors were fitted, again on a Saturday, way ahead of what I was expecting! Three guys in total fitted the window & the 2 doors. They were all very friendly, answered questions & nothing was too much, no mess left was behind either. I was told that if I encounter any issues whatsoever, to call them and they would visit. A few weeks later they arrived to fit the pane. The pane was of good quality and blended well with the existing framework etc. They kept us up to date with what was going on so communication was excellent. We were also surprised at how cheap the pane was. In fact it was below our insurance excess so we didn't even have to claim. It is a shame we had arranged to have some of our windows replaced prior to dealing with Suffolk Doors and Windows as I would happily use the again.

They work solidly all day, do the job without going off somewhere for days, except when they had a good reason such as when the plaster had to set. Kept us informed as to what was happening. But most of all did a very good job with minimum of mess, which was cleared up every evening. Very competitively priced too. A company which I feel does put the customer first. Any other jobs I may need doing in future I will definitely be asking them to do for me.

Our boiler (no, not my partner) needed replacing after many years of faithful service. Government help was unavailable to us OAPs, you needed to be unemployed. So a call to Shaun, of Barrett Heating, was needed. Arriving to check the situation he came up with a boiler within our price range. Fitted, it worked perfectly and has done so for a year now. First service was free and, we are informed, as it is every year through the guarantee. All I can say is.....Barrett Heating is GREAT.
