She agreed to leave lockbox then changed that too. She would not let us park at the property until closing was complete. We had our cats and dog with us. We had to park at a gas station until the go ahead from the title company. Coincidentally owned by the same broker, there was quite the delay in receipt of our wire, although confirmed on our end. UNETHICAL. UNKIND. DECEPTIVE. As far as the condition the property was left in? NASTY. GARBAGE LEFT INSIDE AND OUT. FILTHY FLOORS AND COUNTERS. There are too many good companies out there that CARE. HORIZON Realty of Alachua and Alachua Title is not one of them. Real Estate agent Romina Mincey is one to avoid if you like working with honest, kind and compassionate agents.

Buyers differ in how they prefer to interact with a showing agent - some prefer to be allowed to take in a home without any distractions, and Kristen is happy to operate in that mode if that is what you prefer. On the other hand, I like for the agent to be with me while touring a home to answer questions and point out defects and advantages as we go along. Kristen was so very excellent in that mode. When it comes time to make an offer on a house (or decide on a listing price), a market analysis from an agent is crucial. I found Kristen's market analysis well done and her negotiation skills superb in representing my interests. The home inspection uncovered an issue that became a sticking point because ultimately it proved not feasible to remedy and I didn't want to accept it. After many hours of research and fact finding by Kristen, eventually I realized it was not the big deal I had thought. Kristen never rushed me to this conclusion, to her immense credit.
