This company replaced our roof in 2021. One year and 22 days later, I noticed the shingles had…read morebegun sliding off the roof. Turns out, the installer failed to use the proper number of fasteners AND had failed to place the nails as per manufacturer's install instructions. You will not know this unless you're on the roof as its being laid OR until it falls apart (which often takes place well after the initial install). After some haggling, they finally sent someone to inspect it. The inspector called the job "a joke" and admitted they had no record of anyone from the company supervising the work as it took place. I was informed by the inspector that he would prepare a report. A few days later he contacted me and said they'd have someone come out and repair the spot. That was in 2022 and I haven't been contacted since. Crickets. We had to have another company repair the area because of water intrusion and staining to sheetrock. Fast forward to today, and guess what's happening... Yep, here we go again. Sliding shingles. In 2022, multiple contacts by the Better Business Bureau resulted in no response. To my knowledge, they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau nor were they a member at the time of install. I verified this with the BBB. However, the agreement I signed prior to the work showed the BBB logo. They tout a lifetime guarantee but workmanship warranty is ONE year; many reputable roofing companies offer workmanship warranties of 5 to 10 years. And the Lifetime Warranty? I assume that's the manufacturer's warranty, which by the way is VOID in the event of an incorrect install. I contacted an attorney and was advised this company had litigation against them for this very reason. It's your money and you can spend it as you please. I wished i had been more careful and chosen a different company.
