We found Heritage Antiques on yelp and thought it looked like a cool place so we made our way there. Upon entering there was a woman behind the counter on the phone and she said a quick hello and I began my treasure hunt. In my haste to get to seeking out my treasures I did not hear her comments to the person on the phone HOWEVER my husband did. Once my husband heard her comments he then said to me to hurry up with my looking and make this a quick trip. We walked around and I'm looking but now I'm annoyed as I can't believe he is rushing me. There wasn't much in the back rooms and quite frankly they looked as if they were going out of business. So I hurriedly looked and we made our way to the door to leave. Upon exiting I say to my husband why did you rush me. Although I would've left quickly anyway and he then shared WHAT the lady said upon my entering that made him want to leave immediately. So upon our entering my husband and I are a interracial couple. The cashier decided to blurt out when I walked in oh my GOD a black person just walked in. Although it wasn't racism per se it was ignorance. Would you have said that if I was obese, or blind, or even missing a limb? NO. So although you thought I was the 1st black person to walk in I truly hope I am now the last due to your ignorance and lack of customer service.

They send me specifically to THIS jewelry store! I knew it was going to be a difficult thing to repair if they were even repairable at all. I assumed I would have to buy a new pair but then what do I use while waiting for the new one! This review is already getting long so I will sum up my experience. I was met with very friendly staff and although they couldn't guarantee they could repair them, they said they would try. Evidently they have some kind kind of a delicate laser welding equipment. Let me tell you they fixed my metal frames with no harm to my lenses PLUS DID IT SO BEAUTIFULLY I COULD EVEN TELL THEY HAD EVER BEEN BROKEN!!! I just can't say enough about my experience. Suffice to say they are amazing. I want to say Thank you to Jim Green and all his family/staff who helped me. Special thank you and kudos to his son (I apologize if I got that part wrong) who did such a nice job on my laser repair. I believe it takes a true artist to do what he did. These days it's so hard to find honest business people who have REAL integrity and TRULY want to help. Thank you again!
