At a $1.30/min I would still expect some sort of professionalism. Wanted an hour per person but owner said 30min better... better for who? Well ok. Cash was demanded up front $80 for 30min for 2 people. Owner seemed upset when I asked for $20 change for the $100 Bill I gave her. She said you want me hold for tip? I said no we'll see how it his goes and I'll leave extra if the experience warrants it. Total massage ran 21min where she exclaimed times up! Then stood outside the door with hand extended for tip. When I gave her $5 and my wife did the same they seemed offended and didn't thank us. Pushed us towards the door and slammed it behind us. Pretty poor. F&@K this place and these people.

She pulled several times at the back of my shirt because I wasn't undressing fast enough for my hour massage. There should have been more privacy. The curtain was slightly open and there was a man standing right there buying a certificate so I felt uncomfortable getting undressed. Her coworker (a man) came in during my massage which made me feel even more uncomfortable and they had a full on conversation for a long time while I lay there feeling awkward. She had earbuds on and was listening to something which was loud and distracting. It was not relaxing at all. She shoved a pillow in my face and didn't communicate that she wanted me to turn over. The language barrier is really bad and the only communication she had was getting angry at me and saying no. She had zero respect for barriers and privacy and made me feel very violated several times. At the end, I reluctantly gave her a tip even though I felt she didn't deserve it. When I was leaving she stopped me and tapped hard on the tip jar. I told her the tip was on the table and she kept tapping on the jar. I grabbed the cash that I had put on the table and gave it to her. Apparently she thought it wasn't enough. She made a disgusted sound and said "No no no" and shook her finger in my face. I gave her a little more (which I should not have) but that was all I had. She looked at me with disgust and said "nnnnaaaa" and stood there expecting me to pay her more. When she saw I didn't have any more cash she shewed me out of the store. I cannot believe she treats customers this way and I am surprised that they are still in business.

Another great reason why Planet Beach is so nice is you don't have to worry about making small talk with a person while you are getting a massage or doing your detox or facial. Everything is automated so you really get to unwind by yourself. That is not to say that the staff isn't willing to help in any way they can , but as soon as you are ready the door is shut and you are on your own for 8 to 40 minutes depending on the service you are doing. If you are still not sure if this is the right place for you just call or walk in and get set up with a free service your first time visiting. I really wish more businesses we ran like Planet Beach.
