She pulled several times at the back of my shirt because I wasn't undressing fast enough for my hour massage. There should have been more privacy. The curtain was slightly open and there was a man standing right there buying a certificate so I felt uncomfortable getting undressed. Her coworker (a man) came in during my massage which made me feel even more uncomfortable and they had a full on conversation for a long time while I lay there feeling awkward. She had earbuds on and was listening to something which was loud and distracting. It was not relaxing at all. She shoved a pillow in my face and didn't communicate that she wanted me to turn over. The language barrier is really bad and the only communication she had was getting angry at me and saying no. She had zero respect for barriers and privacy and made me feel very violated several times. At the end, I reluctantly gave her a tip even though I felt she didn't deserve it. When I was leaving she stopped me and tapped hard on the tip jar. I told her the tip was on the table and she kept tapping on the jar. I grabbed the cash that I had put on the table and gave it to her. Apparently she thought it wasn't enough. She made a disgusted sound and said "No no no" and shook her finger in my face. I gave her a little more (which I should not have) but that was all I had. She looked at me with disgust and said "nnnnaaaa" and stood there expecting me to pay her more. When she saw I didn't have any more cash she shewed me out of the store. I cannot believe she treats customers this way and I am surprised that they are still in business.

When I showed up it was clean, friendly and both greeted me upon arrival. The room was peaceful and made getting ready for the massage easy. I had never had my feet and back worked on at the same time so I was unsure about how it would go. I decided to go with the 60 min Spa Massage for my first visit which is a massage that also includes a seaweed and matcha green tea mask with essential oils on the back which sounded delightful and it truly was ! Her policy is to pay for your first session ahead of time so she will send an invoice to you to pay..I know some people probably wouldn't like that but I can see why she does it, people can make an appointment randomly and then not show up and then you just wasted the therapist's time and they lost income they were expecting to make when you no show and don't give notice. She also gives you a 10% discount when you pay that invoice for your first service, so that's a nice incentive to pay ahead of time. I arrived a bit late unfortunately and I had paperwork to fill out since it was my first time in so my massage had to get cut a bit short but honestly, I didn't feel like she rushed through it or anything. She also did amazing working out knots in my neck, shoulders and arms while also making it as relaxing as possible for me as I'm not someone who likes to feel like I was hit by a train when I go to get a massage. She incorporated a little gua sha (gua sha is like a scraping technique with a tool), which is something I've never had done before, and it did wonders on my body. She was so kind and even gave me a gift at the end, which was a bottle of lemon scented bath salts, which I look forward to using. This is my year for radical self care. I made a promise to myself - a commitment to prioritize my wellbeing. After endless days of putting others first, I take the leap and schedule in these much needed appointments for me time and as I hit 'confirm', a waive of anticipation washes over me, knowing that soon I'll indulge in moments solely dedicated to my rejuvenation.
