My husband and I are a big DIY'ers and LOVE Floor and Decor in Antioch for all of our wood, tile, and countertop needs! We have especially enjoyed talking to Norbert in the wood flooring department. On TWO separate visits, Norbert has spent over 30 minutes, likely an hour, walking us through the step-by-step process of installing hardwood stair treads and risers in our home to replace carpet. Norbert is SO professional, knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it takes to help us out each time we visit. I have had a terrible time deciding on the tile for my bathroom remodeling project. It is a small DIY project but I had 6 employees helping me at various times while in the store. They treated as if I had a large dollar project. They helped with color scheme, finding extra stock in the store, ordering stock when there was not enough to complete my project and having it shipped to my address via FedEx. The manager even put comments as to the color of the travertine that I was wanting because natural stone comes in a wide variation of colors. If it wasn't for Shane, we would not step foot in the store again! Terrible customer service with many employees who were not concerned with helping at all. We stopped one sales associate to ask a question which she did not know the answer to but said she would find out. Then, she never returned but we could see her chatting it up with another employee. It is a shame that customer service, professionalism, and decent communication skills are not valued in this store. Shane came to the rescue with our questions, and he helped load our tile! We give Shane five stars for his wonderful attitude and willingness to help. He needs to be the store manager to whip that place into shape. Save yourself from the rude, grumpy, and unhelpful employees, and find Shane! He rocks! read more

Excellent selection of materials, clearly labeled and logically arranged in welcoming and impeccably clean facility. Excellent prices. All people who worked in the store were fully knowledgeable about the array of products, and each one was courteous and helpful. The store also has qualified designers on site, always ready to provide advice and suggestions. It was well worth the time to make the drive to this place. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! If I could give zero stars for rating I would. They claim they sell 1st quality hardwood flooring only, which is largely untrue. . I purchased 1700sq ft of so-called 1st quality hardwood flooring for $7000 and was told by the sales person that the hardwood was an excellent hardwood. I trailered the hardwood home and unloaded 97 boxes of hardwood and placed them in my house to acclimate. I hired a professional installer to install the hardwood. While attempting to install the hardwood flooring, the installer noticed that the widths of the hardwood vary in size which would create gaps in the flooring and is consistent with a 2nd grade flooring. The installer advised that it would be impossible to install hardwood without gaps unless someone took the time to measure the width of each piece before installing. Contacted manager of the flooring department who basically said " just bring it back, and we will work it out ". So again I had to reload 97 boxes of hardwood and trailer it back to the store which was 1.5 hours away. Being in a rush to replace the hardwood that we took back, we found another hardwood they we liked that was on clearance but was .22cents more a foot than what we paid for the original hardwood we purchased. I asked the flooring manager if they could match the price we originally paid for the other hardwood based on what we had gone through. The flooring manager said it was reasonable but had to run it by the store manager. Store manager advised him that he would not allow the price to be reduced. I should also state and the store manager knew that I have spent thousands of dollars with them on tile and other products in the past but still would not try and make good on the 2nd grade wood flooring. I then requested a refund and will never do business with them again. Very disappointed !!!!!!! read more

Great selection but not worth the time waiting in line!!!!! Went in Sunday and the registers were a MESS. Looks like a big company but they can't hire more people so lines can flow better. I just left and went to Home Depot up the street were I didn't have to wait in line to make a return or purchase a simple tile! Ridiculous!!! If you wanna waste your time here do it. During my project of repairing and replacing most everything in the master bathroom, I made 8-10 trips to this store. I purchased marble tile and trim, glass tile, floor tile, schluter, grout, sealer, and cleaner. The sales staff, cashiers, and floor staff were all helpful and friendly. Twice I was selecting items past closing time and they were patient while I finished. I had some returns and exchanges and all went smoothly. On top of that, their prices can't be beat--about 40% less than the tile and floor store in Franklin. read more

I've been in remodeling for 40 years now. In all those years, I've never dealt with a store manager with such a bad attitude. Cashiers yes. I'm surprised that Floor & Decor would let a person like Stanler Maye run their Antioch store. Today I had to buy 4 more cases of flooring and some 1/4 round molding. I found the molding in the clearance pile. It was marked 1.50 per piece. Well, when I got up front, it rang up as 3.00 per piece. Doubled price! I told the cashier that wasn't correct and she called over the manager, Stanler Maye. He said I had to pay whatever rang up on the register. I said that's not right as the price was only 1.50 per piece on the sign. He didn't believe me so I took him over to the pile. At first, he tried to say I looked at it wrong. I said no, the sign says 1/4 round marked with a green sticker is 1.50 a piece. Then I showed him the package I got it from with a green sticker on it. Next he says, well you'll have to pay 3.00 per piece. I'm not going to change it just for you. Wow, I couldn't believe what he just said. At the time, I didn't know he was a manager, so I asked him if I could see a manager. He replied, I AM the manager. As I started to talk to him and tell him he couldn't put a sign up with one price and then double it at the cash register. His response. He just walked off. Wow! I started to go back up front when I thought I should get pictures of this. I turned around and went back to the pile. He was already going down the side isle WITH THE SIGN! I said, wow you remove the sign after I leave. I'd like to get a picture of that. He ignored me and kept walking! I said hey, I'd like to get a picture of that. He turns and says, Hay is for horses, my name is Stanler. I thought, wow, this is a manager talking like this to a customer and not honoring prices on signs. He finally put the sign down and let me take a picture of it. I told him it was illegal to post prices in the isle like that and charge a different price at the cash register. He just laughed and walked away! I see from the reviews on their website, I'm not the first one to run up against his bad attitude. You've lost any further business from me and I used to send all my customers over to your store. Not anymore! read more

I went to Floors &a Decor to purchase tile, and supplies to build my wife and mine dream bathroom. I went to the "Design" center and a lady by the name of Allison Marshall was happy to assist me since my wife was not with me. Ms. Marshall listened to what I had to say, and helped pick out tile, grout, and supplies. She wrote up the order, recommended that I took samples home before making a decision. I did, and my wife loved what was picked out. My install notified me that he would get started the next day. I called the store to place my order approximately 8:00 pm. Ms. Marshall was off from work, I was given a (877) number to call and placed my order. The next morning I touched basis with Ms. Marshall. She again assisted me even though by me calling the (877) number she lost credit of the dedicated work she helped me with. I was willing to cancel my order and reorder through her. Ms Marshall said it will be fine, don't worry about it in a positive caring voice. I contacted the store manager to let him know the unselfishness, and the professional attitude of Ms. Marshall.
