A great place to come to figure out your next project at home. Wether it be redoing hardwood floors to redoing the floor and shower tile in the bathrooms there are a lot of great selections to choose from. They also have great pricing. You can find stuff very affordable like ceramic or even get something more luxurious like marble. Only complain is how slow it is. Within a given day you can see 15-20 workers. Yet when ready to check out there is only one persons working one cash register. We never really got asked if we needed help either. We went three separate times and no one ever approached us. This. Place. Has. It. All. We came here a few times after it being recommended to us by a friend. They literally have every type of flooring you could imagine at amazing prices. Quality stuff.. I couldn't leave the marble section omg. I enjoyed walking Thru the aisles and the staff was super helpful and nice. Best past about this store- you can return what you don't use that's not cut. This place is absolutely massive. I think I only saw about 10% of what they were offering as we were on a mission to find the laminate floor we had been researching. The customer service representatives were all very friendly and we worked with a gentleman named Randy who was very helpful explaining all of the options for laminate and subflooring we were looking for. I just got back from a HORRIBLE experience at this store. Seminole County has recently required people to wear masks when shopping. Among those who are exempted from that requirement are "Persons for whom a Face Covering would cause impairment due to an existing health condition or disability." I have such a health condition. I told the manager I had a medical disability that prevents me from wearing a mask. He didn't care about my disability and told me to leave the store. I told him about the Americans with Disabilities Act. He did not care. I then told him he could call the cops and explain to them why he refused service to a disabled person. He said he would indeed call the cops. I looked around the store for a few minutes trying to pick out what is a $20,000 budget for flooring. My wife convinced me to leave, telling me that we'll spend our money where it's appreciated. LESSON LEARNED: if you're disabled, find another store to find your flooring. At this particular store, they don't care about serving our kind. ADDITIONAL LESSON: I think I got a taste of what it must have been like for blacks a few decades ago when they used to be denied service because of the color of their skin. I'm a tile contractor. This is One of the worst run operations I've been to and the Customer service is terrible. Takes a half an hour to buy one piece of tile at times. This place is not your average home depot or lowe's when it comes to cost or selection. They average a little higher than both of the two but their selection by far surpasses both large corporations in my humble opinion. They also match prices according to a gian sign by the entry/exit but I'm not sure exactly what that means considering they offer different options than their competitors. We purchased a pallat of beautiful sack stone that we had been eyeing for months to redo the fireplace. It was reasonably priced and the gentleman that helped us pick it out was helpful. Upon checkout, it was a little slow and there was some miscommunication about how to load up the stone and who would be assisting us. We pulled our car around and waited a half hour with another truck waiting to be loaded up with thwir goodies as well. Finally we went inside to find iut what the hold up was and there was apparently only one person that could operate the fork lif and he was no where to be found, so we continued to wait. By the time we got the stackstone loaded, it was not brought out with a forklift as it wasn't necessary or heavy enough to need the forklift; so essentially we waited quite a bit if time for no reason with little explanation from the staff. My boyfriend helped load it up bc we were ready to get out of there. This is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 Star, delayed delivery so to say. read more

Even though the store was very busy, Xavier and Cornbread (Dayle?) helped us quickly and got the tile and supplies that we needed. Cornbread especially was very knowledgeable and seemed like an expert! He took his time explaining the different grout types and what they were used for. He helped us select the items that were on our list and made us feel comfortable. Xavier drove the forklift and helped us choose wall and floor tile that coordinated nicely. Had a horrible experience on 1 1.19.20 at 1pm. I asked Tiffany, Associate 60299, the cashier, to please wear her mask properly. She had a mask on, but not covering her nose and mouth. Not a hard thing. Her response was, "this is my space and if you don't like it, go elsewhere ". I understand we are all stressed, but to be treated with such disrespect is simply wrong. To say this operation is unorganized is an understatement. Ordered online, never received an email like they stated to let me know it was ready then they change the store hours without posting it online or email. Both times picking up tile took Atleast an hour to load in my vehicle and the agent just dropped the pallet by my SUV and didn't bother to cut the shrink wrap or help me load even though the girl that helped me in the store said we wouldn't make you load 50 boxes by yourself. I can be a bit fickle when it comes to making decisions and often sales clerks get very irritated with me. But not Christopher!! He was absolutely amazing!! He was so patient, we (had my girls with me) had his undivided attention as we bounced from flooring to flooring and color to color. He helped us carry our samples and answered all of questions. Very poor quality products and no help from the managers. They play games and make no effort to resolve issues. DO not buy the santigo amber tile. The top layer is so when you while it the top layer comes off. I dont want to remove the tile because its ceramic and it was a mess when I removed the older ones. It's hard to believe the ineptitude of this business. I had to choose a location for this YELP review so I chose Sanford since that was the first store I dealt with. I also had issues with the location on Colonial Avenue in Orlando. If you consider your time is money, read on..... Started the process of purchasing LVF plank flooring, chose a product and color. Easy right? Not so simple, it turns out all stores don't carry same inventory. The color we chose was actually on in stock in the Colonial Avenue store. We live around DeLand, we'd have to drive to pick it up. OK, we agreed. When it came time to purchase, computer showed enough inventory at Colonial but sales rep tells us they're not allowed to sell (even if it shows as inventory) unless someone in that store can verify it's there. She calls store and we wait...... and wait....and wait. 45 minutes go by waiting for a call back from Colonial store. She tells us this isn't unusual to take so long. We leave for lunch cause we're starving.... come back and finally get the word it's actually in the store and we can purchase! I confirm with Sanford store sales person that this color is readily available for us to purchase more stock in the not too distant future. It's not going to be discontinued, etc. Not a problem! A few days later we realize we ordered too much trim as a special order and we call Sanford store to see if we could cancel part of our order. Not a problem we are told. Just come to store to sign cancellation, they already updated the special order with our amendment. We go to Sanford store a few days later to sign cancellation paperwork and to order several more boxes of flooring. We're told we didn't have to come to store to sign paperwork, it's already been cancelled. OK, since I also needed to purchase more flooring it wasn't a wasted trip. Salesperson/Manager in flooring tells me there's no more flooring like I purchased in inventory at Colonial store. There's no more inventory anywhere. It's gone. As I have 3 more rooms to complete, I admittedly turned into an irate customer at that point. He tells me I, me, the CUSTOMER, needed to be the one to search on a computer to find more flooring. I told him that was unacceptable as I was told purchasing more would NOT be a problem. He scoffed and asked me who told me that. At that time I nicely pointed out to him HE was the one who reassured us when he sold us the first order. I asked to speak with a manager. He told me he was the manager to which I replied I'll need to speak to someone else. He leaves and comes back, turns out the inventory number was changed. There actually is plenty of my flooring in stock at Colonial store. Several days later, my special order comes in to Sanford store. I go to pick up. Nothing has been cancelled. I have several conversations with multiple staff recalling who I've spoken with and information given to me regarding cancelling order. Staff members act like I'm making this up. Eyes are rolling. I hear things like "people don't know what they are talking about." Finally, lady in special order/ "pro" department puts cancellation through and I leave only with merchandise needed. We go to Colonial to purchase 8 more boxes of flooring. No more ordering in Sanford only to have to wait an hour for confirmation inventory is there. Leave with flooring. WHEW! That wasn't too bad. Staff loaded cart and car for us. Get home. Saturday night start to put down floor. Discover 3 of the 8 boxes sold to us are a different color. Can't use. Will have to DRIVE AGAIN over an hour to exchange for correct floor. Can't make this up. Over it and once we are FINALLY done with remaining 2 rooms, won't be back. read more

7/17/17 update: F & D covered our cost of the flooring inspection and also paid for new wood to repair our issues, even though the installer caused the problem. F & D sells great flooring products. Be sure to vet your installer to make sure they install your beautiful floor correctly. Thank you! Our story prior to 7/17: We bought 1700 sf of hard wood and asked if Floor & Decor would install it. They told us they don't do installs, but they could refer us to people that they use. The installer that they referred us to (J&S Flooring, Raj Hemraj) did not properly acclimate the wood, did not test the relative humidity prior to installation, did not use a proper underlayment and did not allow room for wood expansion. This was confirmed by a licensed floor inspector, costing us another $400. So we have a cupped and buckled floor and no one will take responsibility. read more

Don't bother going to the Professional Desk because even if they are there, they won't engage or offer any help. Next step, make an appointment for someone to come to your home for measurements. This place is a dream come true for homeowners. They have a large selection. All the employees are courteous & helpful. Their return policy is hassle-free. I returned some excess material & didn't receive my refund for over a week. I called my bank & there was no notification for a refund & was directed to call Floor & Décor. A manager named Melissa took my call & she was courteous & very helpful. She tried to contact their audit office while I was on the phone. She later realized it was taking a bit longer than usual. She stated that she would call me back. Before her shift was over she called to inform me that she did not get a response from them. She called & left several emails & messages. She stated to me that she would call them in the morning & then update me of the situation. The next morning I checked my credit card account & the refund was there so I thank Melissa for her help. So first of all this location said on their website that they had over 100 pieces of the tile floor we needed in stock so we drove an hour to go get it. When we arrived they said they didn't have it in stock and would have to order it. Annoyed about the lack of updating on their website but ordered it and paid extra to have it delivered, also. On Friday a lady called and said our shipment arrived so we asked when could it be delivered and she told us "I don't know, you need to call back and talk to someone about setting up an appointment for delivery". When we asked if we could just be transferred she proceeded to tell us no and to just call back. First of all why did she even call then?! So we set up for it to be delivered the next day and when I called to ask about the shipment status around noon the lady I spoke to was completely rude and said "I don't know sometime today". No shit. So sitting around wasting our entire Saturday because they can't even give us a time frame. I work in customer service on a daily basis and this kind of rude unhelpful customer service is completely unacceptable. Had I known it would have been an issue like this, I wouldn't have paid for delivery and would've pick it up myself. We spend thousands at this store annually doing renovations and floor and decor has lost my business forever. How this location has a 4 star review is absolutely mind boggling!! read more

Floor and Decor advertises low prices. The tiles we purchased were defective but floor and Decor does not back their merchandise. We had the tiles delivered and paid $90. Over half of them were cracked so we had to bring them back. The tiles we purchased changed colors and cracked. A sales person and our contractors were present and the sales person recommended the enhancer and assisted us in the entire purchase. There was no problem with the subfloor but they wanted us to obtain a floor inspector. Cost $300. Floor and Decor did not reimburse us nor do they send out their own inspector. We even sent pictures of the tiles and subfloor but they still would not reimburse us. They also sold us an enhancement to go on the tiles and the item they sold us does not cover any defects that occur. The products they sell are not even backed by the manufacturer. I do not recommend Floor and Decor. They advertise cheap prices and that's exactly what we received. Faulty products. read more

What an ordeal shopping for tile at Floor & Decor. Found tile that we like in Orlando store, but they didn't have them in stock. They checked the inventory and sent me to Sanford where I can pick them up. After a half hour drive to there the manager Corey rudely informed me that they don't have it in stock. After unpleasant conversation he finally agreed to order them to arrive in a week from another store. After a week I called to check if they arrived and Lori in receiving said that they didn't even leave the port yet, and it will take months to get here. Called Lakeland store and they confirmed they have them in stock. Drove an hour there to find out their inventory is off as well, and they actually didn't have it. At least a friendly manager Misty called Sarasota store and had someone check to make sure their inventory is right so we drove next day 2 hr there and 2 hr back to Orlando and finally got our tile. In this times when Amazon delivers at your door the same day or next, it sure is frustrating dealing with Floor & Decor and driving all around Florida to buy tile. I have been looking for the right floors for my house for over a month now. I have been to several different places. I didn't know what to expect when I went with my first visit, I walked in and immediately felt like a kid in a candy shop. There were a variety of different options that met what I was looking for. The customer service was probably the best I have ever had. An employee named Becca provided Quality and Exceptional service. I ended up buying floor for my whole house here with this first time visit. Becca was so eager to help us with our order because I needed more boxes of the floor I was purchasing that the store had in stock. She was able to set it up to have the remaining number of boxes I needed to be ship to this location. She was very knowledgeable all the questions I had.
