I had to go to work, so my mom called the first place she Googled, and I could not be happier with this company!! Not only did he show up within 20 minutes, but he found SEVERAL issues that the last company overlooked, missed, and could have caused a serious house fire! My ac unit "went out" over a year ago, the repairman told me my unit was "garbage" and I was suffocating the unit by using the pet filters. I switched to the monthly throw away ones as advised and kept pushing, thinking I'd have to replace the unit this time because who has 2 service calls in 2 years on a 4 year old unit!? Lee said my unit is actually a good one, and the more likely reason for the unit failing was because there were SEVERAL loose wires. He could even hear them crackling! He replaced a part with a gently used one off of his truck while he ordered the new part we needed just to give us heat for the time being. He then fixed the breaker, the wires, and recapped something that the prior repairman had left off, which was causing a leak. He checked and double checked his work before he left the house. He made sure all the vents were blowing properly, and did a thorough run through of everything involved. My mom told him about a different issue too since he was here - the breakers in the main panel kept tripping for the washer, microwave, and dryer. My next door neighbor had been having the same issue, they had Hiller fix theirs and they replaced the breakers for $60. Leroy didn't even charge us to tighten all the loose wires in our panel.. he didn't have to replace the breakers either, saving us even more money. He did all this extra work AND he didn't charge an additional fee for it being the weekend or a holiday!! He was extremely communicative and explained everything he did in detail when I asked questions (I had called my mom while I was on break at work and he was kind enough to speak with me during the repair). He took pictures to show us and more easily explain what the issues were. He showed my mom the part he swapped and brought in the hot breaker to show her how it had been overheating. He even told me now that the unit is properly fixed, I can go back to using the pet filters!! The part took a bit to get in, due to the holiday weekend and literally everything being closed, but Lee drove all the way to Nashville to pick it up and came to the house tonight at 6pm to finish the work!! His price was so incredibly fair, I felt like I was taking advantage of his kindness. I can not say enough great things about this company. I will certainly be using him again for anything I may need in the future!! WOW. He told us he does plumbing too, so if I have any other issues, I will definitely be calling this company!

He claimed that an emergency took him out of town. Fine. Anyone can have a problem. Second week goes by. He missed the scheduled time again, without any prior notification from him. I tracked him down again. He once again claimed that he had an out of town emergency, this time, with his son, and we made the third appointment for last Friday 4/21. He no-showed for a third time. I also made the mistake of pre-paying for the work, given his good job on the first part, assuming that he'd be back to complete the work. Wow. And he seemed like such a nice guy. I guess you really can't tell.

Be careful! I hired these guys to reposition a main drain line in my house because it was pitched…read morein the wrong direction. They were also going to relocate a couple of water supply lines. They started on the drain line, I looked at it and it looked level, no slope toward the main drain line. I brought this to their attention and was told it was an "optical illusion", though my level proved otherwise. They then corrected it with additional straps. I explained exactly where I wanted the supply lines rerouted, they were no where close. A couple days later i looked at the supply lines and noticed one was leaking, I took a picture and sent to River Plumbing and didn't even get a call to offer to come fix it! These guys will not be on my property again!

My wife and I live in an older brick home in a nice neighborhood. We have been here since purchasing our home in 2005 and have had only minor problems with plumbing issues. Some of our local plumbing companies have been to our home for leaking pipes or blocked and backed up sewer lines. Over time, our galvanized water lines had gotten narrower and narrower. In addition, our water heater was in the attic. I was terrified the old heater would rust out and send 45 - 60 gallons of hot water through the attic's floor and into our kitchen and dining room. Without a doubt, all that water would ruin the ceiling, the sheetrock, hardwood floors and all our beautiful oak cabinets and cherry dining-room table and chairs. We decided to spend some of our savings on a new tankless-hot-water-heater and a complete re-piping of our home. The Kindred crew knocked it out of the park, finishing in the three days they promised! These guys are honest, respectful, hard working and skilled in their tasks. Mid-summer they called my wife and announced they needed $1,400 for freon replacement in preparation for the new coil they had ordered. My wife paid it (mistake #2), then nothing happened--no one called with the part, no one even acknowledged we had paid $1,400. I began calling Cinch to ask WTF in October 2024. Still waiting on a part (they claimed it had to be custom made). They finally came out late in the year and replaced the part after I again made a stink with the home warranty company. Fast forward to early April 2025 and the upstairs is not cooling. The job has a six-month warranty on it, but am I calling General Aire (would be mistake #3...)? Nooooo, I'm calling the original installer. They send a tech out and he quickly determines the problem--$1,400 worth of freon leaked out over time due to the General Aire tech FAILING TO TIGHTEN A BOLT PROPERLY. Of course he had to recharge the unit with four pounds of new freon, but somehow, the cost of freon at this reputable dealer is a lot less than General Aire--I only had to pay $520 for that. General Aire is an absolute disaster. The lady answering the phones is constantly trying to convince you to go with Old Republic Home Warranty over whatever company you currently use (must be getting some sweet kickbacks). Their techs were slovenly and obviously incompetent. Communication is abhorrent. Ditch the home warranties. They send out speds like General Aire to work on your appliances. Go with the reputable techs instead.

He left and went to pick it up, came back and worked for 4 hours installing and checking everything related to HVAC. We have two units and he thoroughly cleaned both of them, checked every item very thoroughly. He even went up inside the hot attic and checked both units up there--heating and cooling. We could not be more pleased with his work. Meanwhile he/we hassled with Select warranty while they lied about diagnosis and refuse to cover any of the cost!!! We very highly recommend General Aire for all HVAC needs. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I'd give Select Warranty a negative 10 if I could. Please don't let them con you into a policy with them.
