This review is for the location on District. I went here because our contractor recommended them. Due to a change in the contractor's schedule, I was in a rush. I went in on a Thursday morning and needed the materials by Monday morning. Kevin assisted me and showed me all the product in what I was looking for (Toughlock Luxury Vinyl Planking). I picked 5 that I liked, and he checked to see which they would be able to get by Friday afternoon. Of the 5, 4 were available and gave me an estimate. I took home samples of those 4, chose one, and called Kevin with my choice. They ordered it, and it arrived on Friday afternoon. There were a few things I was unsure of, so he called my contractor to make sure we were getting the right materials. My contractor picked everything up on Monday morning, and it was perfect. We bought our carpet through flooring liquidators and everyone from the sales people to the great installers were a pleasure to deal with. Today we sent our kids down to look at new hard surface flooring and carpeting. They didn't have much knowledge when they went in and were lucky enough to get Yesenia to help them. She explained everything in detail and helped them narrow down their choices. By the time they left they felt very comfortable and knew exactly what kind of flooring they want. Honestly thought that we would be wasting our time by going to Flooring Liquidators on Rosedale Hwy. My lovely wife had finally decided on the type of flooring she wanted for our home. She had been researching for awhile, and we had already gone to several other companies. Only came here because our flooring installer said we might find a better deal at Flooring Liquidators. He said to ask for Andrew, and so we did. I am in agreement with many of the other Yelp reviewers, Andrew is the best!! I thought he would be a pushy irritating salesperson. Boy was I wrong. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He made us feel right at ease. Although my wife had already made up her mind on what she wanted from one of their competitors, she still told Andrew what qualities she wanted for our future flooring. Based on what she wanted, he led us to a type of flooring we had never heard of before. The flooring was scratch proof, water proof, and more. He left us alone so we could decide which colors we were interested in. My wife narrowed down the options to 4 samples. He let us take samples of the flooring home so she could see what went best for our home. Wifey and I both decided we liked what Flooring Liquidators had to offer more than any of the other stores we had shopped around at. So happy that our flooring installer led us to this Rosedale Hwy location and Andrew. We ended up purchasing the BEST flooring for our home!! Could not be more pleased with our experience!! We had such a bad experience with Flooring Liquidators in Arroyo Grande. My husband and my mother went in to purchase new carpet for our recently purchased home. My husband made it very clear that we needed the carpet to be installed within the week so we could start moving into the house. The man who helped us said they would be able to get the carpet either on Tuesday or Friday so we could get it installed over the weekend. We paid for the carpet that was "in stock" and then received a call saying they would not have the carpet for 2 more weeks. We had already hired and scheduled an installer for the weekend (when we were promised the carpet would be here by). My mother and I went back into the store to see what the issue was and the man who originally helped us was very rude and denied ever telling us the carpet would be here within the week. We asked for a refund and he didn't even know how to complete that. We ended up going to Flooring 101 in Santa Maria and they went out of their way to get us our carpet by the weekend with literally a days notice so we didn't have to cancel our installer. We will never be back to Flooring Liquidators due to that one rude and unprofessional employee. read more

Anyone looking for flooring in Bakersfield? Stay away from Flooring Liquidators on Rosedale, big scam. They came out and gave me an estimate and then when we had them do the flooring they gave my estimate to someone else that did a very bad job and found out later they were not even licensed to do this certain flooring. Had someone come out and look at it and said it all has to be redone.. Flooring Liquidators says it's out of their hands as I hired the installers?? I did no such thing as I went through flooring Liquidators they hired the installers and had me pay them. UpdaFlooring liquidators says it's the installers fault who I hired... I did not hire them. I didn't know the installer or how to contact one. They had their installers come out and do the estimate, then after we paid for the flooring they gave the estimate to a non qualified installer. The owner Steve stated that the installers cards are all over the counters and I just grabbed one. LIARS!!! Now floor is lifting, thanks for the headache!! read more

We shopped around for flooring like CRAZY in this town and online. Flooring Liquidators had really competitive prices on most laminate (which is what we were looking for) and we were able to find a color and size we liked. The selection is a little limited compared to some places we went, but overall prices were better and the types of laminate offered were better quality. We needed 12mm and that's what they had quite a bit of. Plus, they carried the underlayment we wanted. We had great customer service from a guy who if I had to guess, is probably the owner or manager. I also liked that the time to get the order was reasonable since they get trucks MWF, we didn't have to wait too long. Most places we shopped were 1-2 weeks of waiting to get the floor shipment in. I'm really excited to see how it looks after we install it! I'll definitely post pictures. read more

We purchased over 800 sq ft of tile for our home from Flooring Liquidators. We had to pay someone to pick it up, because they don't deliver. We had it on our patio for a few months because we had to have the existing tile demoed and our whole kitchen also. Finally it was time to install and when the installers find one hall and were starting in the living room they informed us that we were given 2 different kinds of tile! Same color but one had a shiny glaze and the other a Matt finish. We informed flooring liquidators of their mistake. After half a day of stress and lots of phone calls we were told that we had already had the tile for 3 months and we can't return it or get a refund and the correct tile that we wanted was out of stock. We had to go in and choose a different tile, wait for it to come into their warehouse and we had to pay someone to return the wrong tile from our house and pick up the new tile and bring it to our home. This cost us time and money. This company doesn't stand behind their product and definitely does not believe in customer service. I gave them 1 star only because -* was not an option read more

Our flooring was done in October 2019. I wasn't going to leave a review, but as we are having to have the flooring replaced apready after just 14 months, I'm extremely not happy. So here is our experience. One of the installation guys was found going thru our tools in the garage (we were not having anything done in the garage). He claimed he needed a wrench, but he was holding a bunch of drill bits. There were multiple holes in the walls from them taking off the base boards. They "patched" them, horribly, after I said something about it. The transition strips were so messed up a different installation person had to come out. There were 2 installation guys who were polite, but I feel one of them was new and didn't quite know what he was doing and was left alone to work on the kitchen while the other worked on the bathrooms. What was supposed to be a 2 day thing ended up being almost a week. Oh yeah, when they moved the fridge onto the carpet so they could access the whole kitchen floor, it ripped the carpet. I one BILLION percent do NOT recommend this company or installation team. read more
