I started a kitchen remodel through Home Depot, but unfortunately you have to act as your own contractor through that and lots of elements of a remodel aren't covered. I checked Yelp and saw that JB Construction had a good rating and reached out to them to help me finish up my kitchen. Jose was very responsive. We discussed the project and he came up with a reasonable price and got to work. They did a bit of everything, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, etc. Jose is also refreshingly collaborative. They did a great job and Jose stands behind their work. If I find anything that isn't quite right or got missed, he said he'll come take care of it (100% confidence in this). This review was well earned, Jose & his crew were spectacular on my little Rennovation of my first home. Going into this as a novice was super scary but Jose was patient & accommodating and flexible in my design, which I changed a few times. He was also very good at making sure I understood a realistic budget. My kitchen & bath came out incredible and I saved money by keeping same floor plan, he made it feel so upgraded it does not even feel the same size feels bigger. These two were very aware of the little ones and interacted with them anytime the kids were out and about. Now onto the workmanship! We removed an interior closet, expanded my front entry way, and replaced all of my old and semi-damaged stucco/siding on the front of our home. Jose is a true professional. He lets you know exactly what is going on, how long it will take, he sticks to his word and charges a fair price. He can do pretty much anything when it comes to your house. We had mold in our garage and he removed the dry wall and replaced the worn framing in only a couple of days. We also had some wood tile put down which looked great. A few months later we were concerned because of a leak we found. We called Jose and he quickly came over and identified the window as the cause. He patched it up for us free of charge. If you need any work done, I couldn't give a higher recommendation than Jose. read more
