We chose untraditional Caribbean style flowers in honor of my husband's family heritage and family's anthurium farms in Jamaica. This flower shop is exceptional in every way! They have by far the most creative and unique approach to flower arranging that I have ever seen and because of that I refuse to go anywhere else. I first began using Florana about 7 years ago since this was the go to florist our executives would use at work. I quickly realized why. The arrangements were stunning! I had never seen anything like it. I began using them more and more frequently as a result. Service is stellar but again we've been building on a seven year relationship which means we are all on first name basis when I call the shop. I have never had a bad experience and even on the busiest days they have helped get my orders underway. I was an executive assistant for five years and often called them for last minute emergencies and they always pulled through. Really and truly went above and beyond each and every time. I have used Florana twice for my mother's yearly birthday and they have not disappointed. I just tell them my price range and they include delivery and taxes in that. So I came into work and I saw a super cute Floral arrangement by the front desk. I was very busy and in between patients and surgical procedures I would go the front desk and observe it. My appointments were done and kept asking about the arrangement. My receptionist was grinning mysteriously. First time I used them in February for flowers for my mom. The arrangement was gorgeous! Stay away from this place,especially if you are a bride! I made an appointment for a consult for my wedding and they called 10 minutes before my appointment to say they had an emergency and had to leave. No apology for the 10 minute notice but still I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the following week. I show up and the lady who was there (who turned out to be the owner) says oh you didn't get the message, we called you to cancel the appointment. I never got any call or message so this was a lie. Instead of apologizing she kept insisting that they called me and was very dismissive. She finally dropped it when I said- why would I show up if I got a call saying it was canceled to which she responded well I guess I can do the consult. The owner has zero passion for what she does and it really shows. Their book of previous work is the same old and tired cookie cutter arrangements that have been around for 20 years. They do not want to be bothered with thinking outside the box and giving the bride what she envisions for her big day. It is more of a this is what we do and take it or leave it. Each idea and request I had was quickly shut down by her and pretty much everything I wanted was met with a no we don't do that or no we can't. She kept trying to push me towards arrangements which were nothing like the photos I wanted and would justify it with well this is what we always do for weddings. Within the first 5 minutes I knew that this florist was not going to cut it for my big day. They have minimal assortment when it comes to vases and candle holders yet want to charge a premium for them even though they are the plain cheap ones you find on all the websites. They offer no customer services and could really care less. If They couldn't even give a proper consult appointment imagine on the wedding day. Just thinking of all the ways they could mess up my wedding day gives me anxiety. If they did actually show up on my wedding day I am sure the flowers would be nothing like I wanted. If they gave me all my wedding flowers for free I still would not use them. As I said at the beginning of my review, stay far away from this place! read more

Only reason I give them 1 star is (you can't give 0 starts on this rating) and I at LEAST got a refund for the flowers, that never made it to my wedding day, and the owner did eventually apologize. Basically, I hired Florana Flowers to decorate my wedding and the day of the wedding my flowers never made it. When contacted by my people, 3 hours before the event, their response was that I, the bride, had given them the wrong date. First of all, I had an email from the owner, confirming the correct date and time. So i don't know why she would say that except to make it seem like it was all my fault. basically, my wedding was almost ruined. Thank god I had a very nice venue and when they heard the problem with the flowers, my venue arranged the tables as best they could with candles (I had not one flower in my wedding because of these people). all I say is make sure you confirm the day before an event.. just in case... read more

We loved Florana Flowers!! I find them to be a "hidden gem" in Miami since they don't spend money advertising. They thrive on word-of-mouth referrals! Olga was our point person and I fell in love with her immediately. She is such a warm, genuine and caring person and she would spend hours with me and my husband, never rushing us or making us feel like she had something else to do, developing our "vision" when it came to our flowers and decor! Ambiance was always something very important to me and she understood immediately what I was wanting and made it happen. When we walked into our ballroom to get a sneak peak of the room before the reception started and all we said was, "WOW!!" Florana did a spectacular job creating the romantic, candle-lit ambiance that we were wanting with big white flowers towering over the tables. They also are one of the flower companies in Miami (I think 25-30 years in business) that give you quality for a GREAT price (compared to two other high-end florists we visited before Florana). I used Florana for my wedding two years ago. I was recommended to them by everyone. So I set up an appointment and NA was I pleased. I went In there and showed her photos of things I saw on Pinterest. She explained to me that she would be happy to do it but that the arrangement I had in mind wouldn't last after being manipulated in an arrangement. She showed me her book of arrangements and said to pick the flowers I would like so we did and then she set a second appointment with my at my venue so she could take a look at the alter that I had wanted decorated. Not only did she have fantastic ideas but she helped save me money and helped me find stands for my alter. The day of the wedding everything was fresh and set up in a timely matter. She set the flowers up at the alter and they were stunning and they arranged the flowers for each table and for the reception area and the cocktail area.
