The berries were fresh and flavorful, and the custard added a nice balance. At about NZD8 each, the pastries felt reasonably priced, especially when converted to USD. We also really enjoyed the apple crumble danish, which was delicious as well. The items we liked the least were the regular chocolate croissant and the ginger pear tart; they were fine but didn't stand out compared to the others. There are a few outdoor tables if you want to dine in, and they offer drinks too. We mainly grabbed pastries to go and brought them back to the townhouse, so we didn't dine in, but everything we tried was fresh and well made. He wasn't as much of a fan of those - standard donuts. I'd love to see the interior get a revamp to match the incredible quality of hand pies!
