I like to refer to the problem as Flemi-ness! Most stores in Flemington, look tired and uninviting and depressing. The glamour of Sydney City stores seems a far and distant memory when you walk in Flemington. I love sunglasses and when Apple eye care advertised they had a special sale on sunglasses, I decided to step inside the store. The store is quite spacious and the sunglasses were neatly lined up on the wall. Although the store was selling some of the popular brands, it didn't feel shiny or expensive or new. Probably, that's a reason they were on sale.. The service however was good. Nothing exceptional but they didn't seem as tired as the store looked. I think a fresh coat of paint, or maybe spot lighting or adding a shiny floor to the glass exterior may help raise the quality of the store.

They said I had to come in to the store and they would write the prescription down on paper.... so they get paid to take my eye test and then I can't even have my own details? What a joke.

The arm chairs are huge and so cosy. There are a range of colours of settings from scrubbed painted timber, natural light wood or even back painted timber. There are huge mirrors and odds and ends for the bathroom that are all simple yet stylish. Weaved large rugs in natural colours, heavy wine glasses and cushions of various colours.. There is something for everyone. The bargain table is perfect.
