They poured in two separate areas of my lot, on the front sidewalk and the 4 car driveway,…read moretherefore I had 3 unimpacted parking spots. Due to their 1 ribbon and stake set up, all 4 of my parking were "tied up", see image. Rather than 2 sets of ribbons and stakes, they elected to do 1 dimwitted set up, which included tying off 2 available spots on my driveway skirt since they couldn't bear using another stake/cone or two. I walked inside my home for a brief time and came back out to check on them and saw the parking space hog and they was gone. No one rang my doorbell to state they were leaving and if I was good with the set up. I should have followed my gut and insist on a return so I could park on my driveway skirt. One would think they had some common sense but apparently a few miserly dollars saved was their priority. While parking on the HOA roadway to accomodate their lack of doing things right, my car was struck by a moving vehicle in the rear corner. See the image of the driveway skirt with their slim set up, one can see that two separate set ups of stakes/red tape for the two poured areas would have opened up two spots on my driveway skirt. On the right of image, is 2 areas of their fresh concrete in dark grey. Additionally, one piece of the wood framing was initially not straight, they elected to start with a curved piece of wood on my lot. It also come up a half an inch short, unable to square the corner since it had a gap. I insisted for an unflawed, well suited replacement. They also skipped the compaction of the soil prior to the pour. I saw this. They probulary didn't think I did my research. They neglected to compact the soil first in both areas. John stated to me that I was picky. Why woud you think I wouldn't be? With this outfit, it's obviously neccessary to supervise them at all the intervals, but unfortuanately I had to step back into my house occassionally. Should you decide to use them, if you like things done well like I do, see that the rep has a detailed understanding and agreement. Don't allow them short change their approach on your lot like they repeatedly did on mine. Acting nice when caught does not equate to high standards when no one is looking. Unfortunately, I could not oversea the two part demo, pour and finishing two without pausing. It was a neccessity apparently.
