My experience with their front office service has been great. When I called the first time they picked up and answered my questions, sent me the interest forms right away, I filled them out and received a call from them after a few business days. And then I didn't call them back for a few days (because life got busy) and they followed up with me AGAIN with a phone call. I got my appointment scheduled, they sent me the info for their patient portal right away, and called the morning of my appointment as a courtesy reminder. All the people who left voicemails or spoke to me over the phone were very kind and helpful. It seems like whatever front office issues they were having a few years ago is no longer an issue, at least not from my experience. As for the providers, I've only met with Dr. Marie Myrick once so far but I it was a great experience. She is kind and an attentive listener. She had me call and schedule an evaluation right there in our appointment, which as we had just finished discussing my memory and procrastination issues, was a level of accountability and forward-thinking I appreciate from a mental health provider.

In the past two months, I've called around 35 times to schedule appointments or request refills and I've received a call back exactly twice, days and weeks after the fact. When I inquired about the phone situation, I was talked over and both individuals I spoke to refused to actually acknowledge that phones were not being answered. They kept repeating "Well I'm on the phone now. How can I help you?" instead addressing my very valid concerns. It's not worth the time or the frustration. Find a practice that actually cares about its customers. I've filed a complaint with CHP and I've cut ties with the practice. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Doctors don't keep patients long enough to do a full assessment. They start patients on drugs and…read moredischarge them within a day or 2. Psychiatrists don't consider privacy when interviewing their patients and evaluate them in the hallway. There is a lack of professional staff, constant turnover due to poor management and maintaining the status quo. It's a mill house for those wanting a reprieve from the streets. The physical units haven't been updated for decades, there aren't pictures hanging on walls and nurses only minimally interact with patients. As far as quality of care, it's poor. As a professional who has worked in this specialty for years, I would not recommend admitting yourself to any of their inpatient units.
