You can actually find parking here, it isn't always conjested with students switching classes and it is alot smaller making it easier to navigate. Plus it has great outdoors areas to have lunch, or study. Plus all of the professors in the JOU program are awesome! Most remind me of rebelious hippies, but they are so knowledgeable in the field with many years experience. So glad I HAD to go to this campus.

It is in the Academic 1 building. I also come occasionally to use the pool or go into the bay for an open water swim. Thats what you do when you are training for a triathlon. Overall its a nice campus but considering Im also a UF Alumni, its hard to compare North campus to a really large University. South campus from what I remember was larger and did have that large campus feeling to it, but still much smaller than UF. Im sure its grown in the past 20 years though. If you want to get edumacated, FIU may be a good option for you.

This school has a very beautiful campus. The residence halls were decent. It also has a really friendly community. The dinning service provider is the same as JWU, Chartwells. However, the dinning service here is in the form of a buffet. The food can be better, but it has its days when food is really good. Almost all the professors are really friendly and willing to help the students out. Overall, the school is nice. There is always room for improvement, which they are willing to listen to feedback. I have been informed from recent students that the room selection process is now different, in the sense of which halls you could pick, than when I was attending. Therefore, I will only describe the conditions of the halls from when I was a student. Underclassmen Halls: *For D&D (Dalton & Dunspaugh), the Dunspaugh side has two people rooms and uses community bathrooms. *The Dalton side has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms, as in a shared bathroom between two rooms. *Sage Hall has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. *Weber Hall consists of two sides, like D&D. One side has private bathrooms while the other has community bathrooms. This hall consists of single rooms with private bathrooms or two to four people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. The benefit of living in Weber is that it is right in front of the pool. Upperclassmen: *Benincasa Hall consists of single rooms with private bathrooms or two people rooms with private bathrooms. *Browne Hall has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. *Dominican Hall consists of two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms or suites of four single rooms with private-shared bathrooms. The benefit of living in Dominican is that the first floor has a fast food place (JuiceBlendz/Create) and a convenience store (C-Store). *Flood Hall consists of single rooms with shared-private bathrooms or two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. *Kolasa Hall consists of single rooms with private bathrooms or two people rooms with private bathrooms. *MD (Mottram Doss) Hall consists of a suite with three single rooms and a private-shared bathroom or a suite with five single rooms and two private-shared bathrooms. Worst university ever! They never answer the phone. It's like they never come into the office. I've…read moretried escalating situations where I need help from financial aid or finance or even student support with things and they never answer. I tried changing my bank information 5 times and they still sent it to the wrong bank. I've been waiting for my money for more than 2 weeks and they don't care. If you need help nobody cares only to have you register and for you to pay. It's not worth it. Classes are horrible and management is even worst. Even the dean doesn't do nothing just forward emails. This happens when you hire people that are close to you and not professionals F!!!!

Upon calling in to the clinic before practicum and speaking to Gus, to notify them of running late, they penalized me for arriving 20 minutes behind schedule, with no patients there to be be seen by me, at the clinic. They dis-enrolled me from all classes shortly thereafter. They do not adhere to their own University Student Code of Conduct University when they are to be applied to students. One professor held course assignment/paper for weeks on end, without grading it until the end of the course, preventing me from being able to withdraw/dis-enroll or change status of class. A few minor violations such as being late by a few minutes to momentarily taking an empty thumbdrive to the parking lot before remembering to return it to the clinic, was penalized as major violations during the University's Hearing Proceeding. I was accepted into the Ph.D Clinical Psychology Program in 2015, was promised the the program would begin the next year only to find out it had not been instituted, and then offered acceptance into the PsyD Doctoral program to be told the Doctoral program would ready and I could switch the following year.

He is very knowledgeable in his field of study which is crucial, in not only making sure his clients are taking the correct courses for their career path, but also finding a career that is the best fit for the individual. Mr. Hughes was once a college professor, so he has a lot of insight to offer through a professors perspective which I found very helpful. I decided to have Mr. Hughes as my college advisor while I was earning my AA at Miami Dade. While I was struggling in my major at the time, Mr. Hughes helped find me a similar major in the medical field that ended up being a great fit for me. He helped me along the way, by having appointments regularly to make sure I was doing well in my classes and offering advice/assistance when it was needed. He also helped me when I was applying to colleges once I earned my AA. Now I am transferring to UF in the Fall and I don't know if I could have done it without the help of Mr. Hughes.

I did NOT have a good experience with this academy, as they tell you they will help you in obtaining a job upon receiving your certificate, but that is false. I asked them for information, and was literally told to write a review. They ask you how you are doing and then ask for a review. Upon asking for a recommendation letter, I was told " Unfortunately, as much as we would love to help you, we do not feel as though we have enough experience working with you to provide you with the best letter of recommendation." How is that helping me with obtaining a job, when that is required for most agencies? Not to mention that I had to literally teach myself. Francys and Mercy both mention the aba.rocks website frequently because that's where you ACTUALLY learn the material that is going to be on the test. The information is scattered throughout multiple videos, you'll see what I mean if you buy the course. They don't have personal notes to offer. Honestly... a mess. The 40 hours is not fully completed online, they require a mandatory zoom that is on their own time, like twice a month. So I had to wait for the zoom to complete my certificate. The only good thing is that they are cheap lol... but good luck learning the material. I will definitely NOOOOT be recommending this course to anybody. The reviews below are there because they beg for it. Update: Upon writing an email to them regarding my issues with them, I was told that I did not ask for help, and that I told them everything was fine. Of course everything is fine if she asked me after I completed the course using info of my own! They state in the email "Mercy has reached you multiple times in attempts to help you and guide you. And not only have you not answered her but you also haven't asked for any help." I have receipts (Email & Text) I have answered her every single time. And I'd do as much as go to T-Mobile to receive a copy of my text history just to prove so. Mercy checked in with me twice, AFTER completing the 40HRS (I started in October and completed the hours in December... bc I literally had to teach myself) & AFTER passing the state exam to congratulate me? They are also holding a "misunderstanding" (as they called it in the email) against me. The misunderstanding was because they DO NOT provide clear information on how the process works. There are SOOOO many things that are required after that they DO NOT tell you about. Clearly if you are becoming a RBT you are NEW TO THE FIELD. Guide me! Help me! Don't make me feel bad for asking for more detailed information that is not the same as what was provided. I was told by a RBT before starting this course (whom actually has a review written below...) that I would have a bad experience with Mercy and that Francys is ok. I gave them the benefit of the doubt... just to see, unfortunately they were not wrong at all. These girls just want your money.
