This campus is the worst. The academic advisors are not willing to answer phone calls and the people responding to the main line are extremely rude. I recommend Kendall or the North campus. They take more serious students' inquiries. read more

It is sad to see that this school has the WORST customer service ever. To enroll is a HUGE HASSLE, you have to take your documents a thousand times so they can "verify" your information, I don't even think they "verify", I think they are just too careless to put the information in the system so they hope someone else will do it. Then, they take 1 month and a half, almost 2 months, to get your information in the system and ready to go. BEWARE! Don't ask too many questions because the people who are supposed to "help" you get angry and annoyed at you. After the lengthy process, you go to check your student status, they get angry at you, and tell you that you still need to wait, the worst part is that they've had so much time to do everything correctly and they keep telling you to wait, as if people didn't have anything better to do, then the start of the semester comes around and they still have not done ANYTHING regarding your application. I rather pay a little more and go to a more organized school where they get your documents ready in less than 30 days. I don't even know how this school (or at least the Interamerican campus) is still in business. The bookstore sucks equine erection. I can understand not wanting students to bring bookbags in as a theft deterrent policy. That is reasonable. But you simply CANNOT ask ladies to leave their purses outside on the rack in the care of a total stranger. And have you seen the size of your text books? I could probably fit the above-mentioned equine erection in my purse easier than one of your textbooks. read more

I like this campus because it is close to my house. It is the main campus for my major which is great as well. The only issue I have is the parking. Yes there are two garages but everyone wants to park in the main parking garage. I really haven't explored the campus even though it is only one building. But as of this semster I really like the campus. read more

I'm taking a difficult course here. I like it that they have tutoring for the students which are sometimes taught by the professor that teaches the class. The campus is easy to navigate and has free parking for students. It would be nice if students spoke English on campus when discussing course work so that fellow students could participate. There is a cute cafe on site. Problem is that it is always closed. read more

I spent 15 years working in a public institution telling students that MDC was as good as any University in Florida, that at the end of the day they were going to receive a piece of paper that it didn't matter the name of the school on the Diploma. Then it was time for me to give a try to MDC as a student. Well I regret sending students there. It is a black whole. A school that doesn't care about their students. They only worry about numbers. They hire incompetent student workers in positions that need better training. Their on the job training is obviously lacking in fundamentals. It's a shame. I'm completely disgusted. I have dropped my classes for the Fall term and I'm lookin for a viable alternative for my future studies. read more

I was called by and the man on the phone told me bring my evaluation of diploma. Only evaluation. When I came to the office they told me bring also my original diploma and original transcript. Thanks god I had it in my car but if not?! I was so angry, because every time when I came there is a lot of misunderstandings. The women in the computer lab was unfriendly and when I asked for a help she helped to other student, but that women was helped me though. I went out with angry and bad mood. Advisors are awful. Mainly the one in charge for virtual school. Her email is aqureshi@mdc.edu. Beware. Very rude. Kept telling me she had more important things to do than try and assist me. If they send you to her don't even bother wasting your time as she's "to busy" and has much more "important" things to do. read more

I really hate going to this place. I only go here when I have too because you'll be stuck in traffic most of the time. Plus, parking is the worst. When you're in class all you hear is the police and firetruck sirens and airplanes from the airport. You really can't pay much attention in class. People within the area don't know or understand English. So if you're an English speaker you're going to be lost most of the time. read more

Been coming to this campus for a while now and I'm not exactly thrilled with it. Hardly anybody on campus (staff included) speaks English, the parking sucks and it the tiniest excuse for a college campus I've ever seen. There are so few classrooms that the two classes I am taking here this semester are in the same classroom...and they're not even closely related subjects. You could probably see the entire campus in under 5 minutes. It feels like I'm taking classes at a technical school. Not a big fan of this campus....I'd much rather go to Kendall campus...or even Wolfson. read more

I really like this campus... it's never crowded.. math professors are excellent.. my advise dont take belarmino jajja he is super hard but he is an excellent professor.. there is plenty of parking so that is not a problem because you can always park in the front building!! I have been in almost al tye campuses and this one is one of my favorites. read more

Spent a few semesters here, glad I'm done with MDC. Very nice campus, it is a small campus, with horrible parking issues in and out of the garage during busy rush hour times which is alo the same time people end up going to this Campus. Overall good place to take a class, probably not so good if taking many classes. read more

The campus is quite large for being one of Miami-Dade College's smaller campuses. I graduated from here in 2005. I worked for the college for another two years after that and then I found work else where. The customer service in some of the departments sucks. Some people have been there for SO LONG that they think they own the place. It leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth. read more

I come to the school because it's cheep and the professors aren't that bad. But wow the parking stinks. The security guard stopped someone at the top of the ramp with the ramp full of cars. I'm going to file a complaint to the school because I was almost hit by the car in front of me ;after leaving ample space) and I almost hit the car behind me because my car moved back on the ramp before I was able to move forward because the security stopped us mid way. And some days they have 5 security guards watching 1 parking entrance. When they max they need is 2. This is just insane. read more

I like this campus because it's close to my house. Took my psychology class here with Diana Herrera and had a good time learning. However, the anatomy instructor are not so good because they barely speak English and had a hard time on the lecture. But overall it's a good campus to take general courses. read more

This campus gets a 4 star rating for me for various reasons. First, I come to this campus because it's small and most of the class sizes are small as well, which in college life, usually doesn't happen. I also like this campus because I generally don't get alot of traffic to there from Doral if I leave by 4:30pm at the latest and it's close to home. Another highlight would be that, most professors that I have had in the School of Business are readily available to speak with you, of course, during their office hours, a little before and a little after class. The main thing that annoys me is that, the actual department's hours are from 8:00am to around 4:30pm. I work in Doral and I generally don't leave work until 4:30-5:00pm. A great deal of my classmates also work full-time and go to school full-time, like me, and those office hours are less than pleasant. I am hoping that they extend their office hours to accomodate their working business students. Next, what also grinds my gears is the parking situation. Though, they are steadily working on the issue, it's still a big mess that has to be fixed. All in all, this campus is not all that bad. read more

Worst school campus I have ever been to, I was hassled by a public officer about me skateboarding, witch it clearly doesn't have a sign that says no skateboarding. The public officer is a jerk, and can't understand anything because they are all hatian. They don't want students to be happy "quoted by deem of addmissions" worst experience with parking! Walking a mile because you cant skate here. But bikes are acceptable?? This school is messed up. I hate the whole staff. read more

the worst experience i ever had! everything with these people is a problem and an absurd and ridiculous bureaucracy to try to make more and more money. i wanted to study there and presented all my transcripts; they lost my papers. after months waiting for their answer they tell me that they didn't have anything from me, obviously, after seeing that terrible management, i discarded that university. after couple of months i received a letter from collection, charging me $ 500 for two classes!!! never in my life, i set foot in any class; i did not take even the exams to enter and never presented my hight school diploma, not even know what i was going to study !!!! when i called them and told them that there was a mistake and they were charging me $500, they asked me to write a letter to a teacher, i repeat i never went to any class; everything was a nonsense. they asked me to write everything and send is to them in order to appeal the debt and removed it! it has been 5 months, and they didn't do nothing, they ruined my credit, and they do not even answer my emails, and calling is not an option because nobody knows anything and everyone is just inept! avoid a disgust and run away from this pathetic university. read more

Unfortunately, I don't see any review about the quality of teaching, so now it is. I spent 4 years in science program in their 4 campuses and, I am really happy to move out to somewhere else. They spend a ton of money for building structures while professors are no more well paid and. The result, they don't care to dispense quality informations. I should mention that the administrative staff is students. Cheating is legion due to the poor knowledge of the matters of the instructors, and many students loose the track. Books are very expensives and not really used in class. The atmosphere is awful after the third semester and getting worse after. Be aware that you are on your own then. Overall, one math teacher is very good, others s... In the other hand, there is some good math's helpers afterclass. Students dare not to claim their rights, as professors are no help, at all. Many time they lied to avoid giving help or even laugh at your face. Choose you teachers on "rate my professor" too, it worse it. Be ready to use internet, a lot. Good luck. read more
