This quite old (40+ years) light beige wall-to-wall carpet, professionally cleaned only once many, many years ago, was resurrected and brought back to life. Ron was here for 4-5 hours and when he left, the heavy traffic carpet area dirt and stains (coffee, wine) were virtually gone from living room, dining room and long hallway. I was looking for a locally owned, family operated business and A1A was perfect. We were just moving to Florida from Ohio and our personal belonging were being delivered. Ron worked me into the schedule immediately so the carpets would be clean when our stuff arrived. Nevin was great. I am renting a 16 floor condo, meaning all cleaning equipment is portable; bedroom carpet was totally unacceptable ( I would not walk barefoot). Even Nevin was shocked and not terribly optimistic he could make a difference. They did an amazing job and A1A were able to clean the filtration marks another company could not get out. I originally hired a different steam extraction company and they cleaned the rugs but did not remove the filtration marks. A1A came in and had a process for lifting the marks and raised the pile of the rugs. The technician was very pleasant and worked hard to make the job perfect. Ronald, the owner, does the cleaning with an assistant so you know the job is going to get done right. He is less expensive compared to several other companies like Stanley Steamer and Kleen Dry. He lets u know the price upfront. The other companies get to your house and add on additional charges. They cleaned 3 rooms of mine and 2 sofas. "Nevin the cleaner" - he rules. Finally someone who doesn't offer a bargain price and then does nothing more than just wet the carpeting. He actually cleaned it including removing stubborn spots.
