I see some of the negative reviews and felt the need chime in with my experience. First, their services do cost more than other law firms, they require a consultation fee (which many law offices don't) and they charge more per the hour etc, however, at the end of the day, results matter. And this firm, specifically, Ms. Robinson Coffee and Tabitha Vasquez, worked tirelessly on my case until I got the outcome I wanted. They were the third firm I talked to, the first two told me what I wanted wasn't possible. Florida's Women Law group proved them wrong. If you are willing to fight, so are they. read more

They are NOT advocates for women. I can assure you the only concern they have is how much money they can take from you. My daughter had what should have been a very straight forward divorce (no assets just child custody and support). The only reason we hired an attorney was to ensure that what was agreed to was fair for their small children. My daughter was assigned an attorney (Ellen Ball) who at times seemed to show concern but there was absolutely no effort to come to an agreement with the opposing attorney. Unfortunately about 1 month before their first case hearing, Ellen resigned from the firm and my daughter was assigned Georgia Garnecki. On May 2nd, just prior to the FIRST case hearing on May 7th, my daughter received a call asking for an additional $2500 (I had already paid them $9000) with a threat that she may not have representation on the 7th. My daughter did not have the money and I reached out to the firm and was then told there was enough in escrow to carry her through the case management hearing. Ms. Garnecki had a call with my daughter on May 5th (first and only phone call that lasted 30 mins). Ms. Garnecki started the call with an aggressive tone accusing my daughter of not doing her financial affidavit or what had been requested of her. She didn't even bother introducing herself or asking how things were going. Clearly Ms. Garnecki didn't read the file since my daughter HAD submitted the financial affidavit months prior but was told by Ellen to hold off until further notice on the other items. In any event, they attended the hearing and Ms. Garnecki remained silent when the Judge asked why there hadn't been any progress. Mind you her excuse to us was that the opposing attorney was not responding, so why not say that? Following the case management hearing I wrote an email to Ms. Garnecki requesting that she put pressure on the opposing council to respond. I also said I didn't agree with this costing $12000 when there were no assets. The next email my daughter received was a Consent to Wtihdrawal as her attorney. That's it, $9000 for a few phone calls with the initial attorney, some filings, one phone call with this so called attorney Georgia, a few email exchanges and they withdrew. At the time there was $2800 still in escrow which I was hopeful to get back so she can get new council, but now the next bill I received for the 30 minute phone call and some other made up work $1700 and then another bill for $524, so basically nothing left. Thankfully, I didn't send them the additional $2500 because that would have been gone too. Seems pretty clear to me they had no intention of helping unless there was an endless supply of money to spend. I absolutely would not recommend this firm, they are not who they claim to be. It's not only unprofessional how my daughter was treated, it's unethical. The words of Ms. Garnecki "all your daughter wants to do is settle" well ma'am that's usually the goal especially when there are no assets. But the truth is all my daughter wanted was what was best for her children but instead was treated even more poorly by the so called firm that was hired to help her and KNOWINGLY put her in a position of disadvantage on purpose. Disgusting and shouldn't be practicing law or at minimum don't claim to be advocates for people you have no intention of advocating for. read more

As I take a moment to delve into these reviews, it's alarming to recognize the pattern in the stories of the women who have taken a moment to share their experiences; I can't help but note the evident pattern of this firm. I'm compelled to share my situation because I hope it will help others save their resources in a way that this firm has mishandled without fiduciary care. My divorce should be simple. No major financial assets: we have a 4-year-old son, and my husband moved out of state during the divorce. Why would something so simple take over three years? I was drawn to the firm because I saw it advertised, they were well-versed in understanding the shenanigans that come with divorcing a narcissist. As those of you know who have experienced this, it does take a truly well-educated attorney who can take it a step further to understand that this kind of divorce requires strategy and some brainpower outside of rubber-stamping divorce papers. I was matched with an attorney who has since left; she seemed to understand my outcome goals but didn't practice active listening. The next attorney (Ellen Ball) I was assigned to was not personable and didn't take much time to understand the intricacies of the case she had picked up. I found myself repeating stories and resubmitting information that was previously turned in. I was charged for additional reviews of the same financial information I submitted. Over $10,000 later, we aren't any closer to where we should be, but I'm being asked to give another $10,000.00. I shared with counsel that I had a $30,000 pay DECREASE and had been racking up debt to give them, and my husband makes over $250,000; I asked why they weren't going after him to help pay. This was addressed by asking for another $1,500 to get this done. Of course, I scrapped it up believing I would get some help and relief. For context, I make $65,000 and here my husband is making over $250,000. Make it make sense, so here we are now, I followed their recommendations and ended up with a -$700 balance and was dropped. There was more money they squeezed from me than I owed. I understand that people don't work for free, but I also communicated when I was having financial hardship; it fell on deaf ears, and I was dropped. read more

i was very surprised and disappointed with this firm. they literally chased me down calling me repeatedly, leading me to believe they not only could help but truly cared and once i was assigned a lawyer, the main issues were not addressed, advising me they didn't "handle certain situations"...while phone call with mediator and EX lawyer, she started belittling me and painting a picture of my being a bad person and my lawyer (which i got paralegal rather than lawyer said NOTHING, i had to advocate for myself ! ) i got upset with their not listening (yet charging me and refusing to pro rate) they discontinued helping me and the finale, they allowed my EX to meet at their office to exchange items. seems very unethical on so many levels. read more

Literally awful. I called and asked if they had anyone in Broward County since their address shows Jacksonville and was told "sure we can help you". Then after giving all of my info including my spouses info, was told "so given the information you provided we are unable to help with your issue". I asked why after gathering so much info, she wasted my time and she said "I am not in a position to tell you". It sounded like she was reading from a script. So creepy. Now they have my personal info and I have no idea what they do with it. Absolutely crazy. read more

I am very pleased with my experience with the QLG and their staff. Everyone at this firm is very nice and extremely helpful. From the receptionist to the attorney's, everyone at this firm works hard to get what their client needs. They kept in mind the financial burden and would take actions to minimize expenses. They worked diligently on my case and did research on the information that was coming in from the opposing counsel and were able to catch errors. They provided me guidance on the forms I was required to fill out and kept me informed on everything regarding my case at all times. Although, with having a young baby, I wasn't able to participate in the classes and happy hours, I think it's great that they offer these to their clients as resources to help them through these difficult times. The staff at the QLG go above and beyond to meet the needs of each one of their cases. I would refer any women going through divorce or custody issues to the QLG. read more

Lawyers cann't be trusted !! I made an appointment for a phone consultation and gave my credit card info which I was told I would be charged $300 after the phone call. Few days later i called to see if i could get a sooner appointment and was told they had one for tuesday only 2 days sooner. So i told them never mind I will just keep what I got. So tuesday after work I see they called my phone one time then 4 min later charged my credit card. I called to find out why and told them i still had a thursday appointment. I asked the cancellation policy and recieved a message If canceled 24hrs prior I would not be charged. so i immediately called to cancel my Thursday appointment which had not been changed and I wish to reschedule at another time. They processed my payment anyway. no consultation just $300 taken from me and my daughter and proof again that no one can be trusted no one cares about helping the victims. Hope this helps someone. My marriage would be considered short-term, low-key on assets, and main concern was the children. At first, I felt the idea that the QLG "specializes" with women, I would be protected and feel their utmost attention to my case being that I am a mother of young children. I was displeased as time went on and I saw no progress with the points that mattered to me every step of the way. We got far off track of what needed to be resolved, what documentation truly was necessary, & I got more emails from QLG accounting asking for more money than I got answers to my calls/emails. I left countless messages at their front desk for people (up to 6 one week) - that never got returned. They required a lot of up-front documentation that frankly, you do NOT NEED unless your case is set for trial (the last resort, ladies!) - which gives you time to get it completed. I was told we are doing all this preparation for court, instead of working with what was really necessary for the next step, and all my hope was was to resolve in a written proposal or mediation. My lawyer was unable to attend my case management; another QLG lawyer came as her stand-in at the full rate of my lawyer and gave me little guidance, merely redirecting me to connect with my appointed lawyer on the questions that I had, so almost $1000 later I still had no answers, and spent the morning with an unfamiliar face as my lawyer. From my appointed QLG lawyer, a lot of review of the conversation/prolonged rambling on the phone, never "quick" and to the point, and I paid for those minutes! I also paid for all QLG employee's contribution to my case, yet did not see my main goal result as my spouse cornered me and my hand was forced to do otherwise to avoid problems. Overall, the theme of anxiety to even call and openly communicate came over me for the fact there was an incredible amount of money going out at a speedy pace with so many hands on my case. I was getting no results or positive feelings. I emailed Heather with my concerns about how QLG was handling things, and her reply was nothing that I would expect from the person's whose name is on the building - it felt clear I was just a number at that point. As the owner, perhaps stepping in to see how my needs could have been better met would have helped me through, but I terminated them shortly after and found someone in town who was simply more experienced, professional, attentive, and overall OUTSTANDING. read more

As an out of state potential client, I contacted this firm for a consult and possible representation to handle a matter for me in Florida. After the initial first call, I was asked to place a credit card payment in the amount of $250.00 for the following day's "consultation". Ha! This is where the cosmic joke begins... My "consultation" was with the Director of Client Relations, Chelle. NOT A LAWYER!!!!!! A salesperson to drag clients in the door...After she rushed through the same very basic questions I had already answered the previous day at a clocked time of 18 minutes, she gushed about how I "definitely needed representation", and "we can handle that". Not once did she offer legal advice, nor present options to consider. Rather, she quickly added the cost of the retainer fee of $5000.00, and disclosure that my matter might run over that amount. Further, I needed to pay immediately in order for the following day's full consultation at 2 hours in length, at $375 per hour, to occur. My matter is not THAT complicated, but hey. I'm not an attorney, and that's why I'm seeking one. Feeling like I was being steered into retaining this firm without any facts presented, I decided to refrain from committing at that moment. Less than 15 minutes after ending the consultation call that was indeed a non-consultation call, I was contacted by the receptionist, quipping that I can pay the retainer with the card on file for today's call, and she could make sure I had all retainer documents emailed immediately. And!! Please send them back ASAP so we can get cracking on your case!!! After arriving home, I looked at reviews of this firm, and quickly understood why my intuition told me to run, run, RUN! Clearly, this firm is a money mill, and clients, or potential client's interests are far from their standard of ethics of practice. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to contact a few other firms the following day, and not one, but TWO attorneys consulted on my case, at NO COST, and actually offered advice and possible paths to consider going forth. It won't take rocket science to ascertain who I didn't retain. I'm out $250 for an unfortunate choice of calling the Quick Law Group, and receiving a sales pitch, not a legal consultation. After reading the other reviews of those who had my exact experience, I will assume my $250 paid for someone's haircut, and I won't see it again! read more

This law firm is set up to prey on women and sell them on "WE Will Fight for YOU!" once you sign on the line, be prepared to have little work done at astronomical prices and to be harassed often for more money. My experience left me in a situation where I had 3 weeks to find a new attorney, with half of the work needing to be done neglected by this firm, and resulted in a poor outcome on my case. A month prior to mediation and trial I was notified that i needed $6000 more on top of the $5000 I had already paid into the firm. I was told I needed to pay that amount that day or sign a consent to withdrawal. I had to ask my mother to pull from her retirement to help and called stating I would have the $6000, this is when they came back and said, actually since trial is close we need $16,000 in your account by Friday ( this was Tuesday) or again, sign consent to withdrawal. I was forced at that point to sign the consent, and be left high and dry 3 weeks before mediation and trial (they were set in the same week). This woman and her firm are scammers charging high prices for doing little to no real work on your case. Because of this woman and her firm I did not achieve much in what should have been an easy open close divorce/custody case. With that said, it is not just about having a poor outcome in my case, its about the fact that my children are now paying for their negligence. I had to hire a new attorney, and will now have to rebuild the case and go through this process all over again. This woman's law firm did not stand up and fight for me and my children, yet they did the opposite by giving my ex all the power. In my opinion the objective of The Quick Law Group is to prey on women leaving abusive situations and steal from them while feeding them lies, and doing nothing substantial on their case. They refuse to listen to client requests, such as requesting medical records that would have won my case. They give poor advice which in turn gives the opposite party the upper-hand. My greatest advice to anyone seeking counsel, DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON OR HER FIRM. My second attorney accomplished more in the two weeks we had to work with than The Quick Law Group accomplished over a 5 month period for a 4th of the price. read more
