Roast lamb shoulder

Service was great and efficient. They took our order quickly. We had the fish pie, smoked fish hash and the lamb shoulder. The food was quite good but the smoked fish hash stood out. Would recommend to try.

Delicious food and amazing service! Staff was wonderful and the cappuccinos were perfect. Right on Cuban street and very convenient.

Very nice staff, delicious hot coffee, eggs Benedict on sourdough toast with potatoes They take Apple Pay. Always a plus!

Cozy interior

Very cute place- I like that it opened early, as my husband and I needed an early breakfast before catching the ferry. The service was good and the menu had some delicious items to chose from. We were very happy and full. I loved the interior, as like Havana Coffee Works, it feels like you are in Cuba. Definitely give it a shot!

Answer to boob lights.

Very much enjoyed this coffee stop off for a boost midday. Wellington is loaded with coffee shops and this one stands out. The service was excellent and staff very pleasant. Cuba street was entertaining. Light fixtures are an answer to the boob light fixtures.

Brioche French Toast and the best Americano EVER

I have been to a whole lot of different cafes, from Seattle to LA to Auckland. Dude, seriously, this is the BEST COFFEE I've ever had in my life. I never knew you could make an Americano so velvety, creamy and it does not assault you at all! It's strong but it knows how to treat you well. WOW. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place. I'm hella impressed. Wow.

Wonderful, kind servers and amazing food! I had the fish hash and an iced coffee and both were great. Busy but cozy atmosphere, could not recommend more.

The Fish Pie dish with a delightful salad.

We ordered a Fish Pie and a Pan fried Fish plates. Wow. What a pleasant surprise. Even the salads we're outstanding ! The pan fried (white, fresh caught Tarakihi) was cooked to perfection tender, moist topped with a bit of butter sauce. Very, very tasty and delightful ! Not too much spices getting in the way of the fish flavor. Perfect! I hand to grabbed some extra bites of my wife's Fish Pie. It too, was cooked to perfection and crunchy, topped with bread crumbs cooked perfectly. You couldn't go wrong with either of these dishes

Poached eggs with zaater, avocado
Khaled A.

I might be unfair in my rating to this place cause I was planning to eat lunch and most of the menu were egg choices. They serve brunch till 3pm on Saturdays. I went with poached eggs with avocado, zaater and broccoli it was good but nothing special. They didn't have enough variety for a lunch menu hence the low rating. My Waite went with the quinoa salad which was also ok.

Fish pie

I came here for brunch and had a great time. First of all, props to them for being open on ANZAC day. Second, my dish, the fish pie, blew me away. I'd never had anything like it, because it's just not a thing back home. It was so filling and tasty! Also loved my latte. Not too bitter, and super smooth. My friends all loved what they got, too. Tried the coffee cupcake and it was a great way to end the meal. Just wish they had WiFi!

Mocha

Loved their breakfast. I got the poached eggs with avocado, rocket leaves, hollandaise sauce on toast Their toast and baked sweets looked amazing. In hindsight I might have gotten the asparagus instead of rocket leaves (like arugula) The mocha came with a yummy marshmallow. The orange juice was fresh and sweet I tried eating elsewhere the next day and just wished that I was here. The second place was a coffee shop where I ordered basically the same thing here and was presented with something of much lesser quality. It wasn't bad but it was clearly not floriditas quality.

Oh. Yes. With a seemingly endless array of cafe and subsequently delicious local food opportunities in Wellington, picking a breakfast spot proved to be a nearly impossible task. But as the "yelping person" of the group (you *all* know what I'm talking about) I was nominated to make the call. Floriditas didn't let me down. It's not quite Paris, not quite New Orleans, but with copious fleur-de-lis theming and gleaming white tiles shinier than Lil Wayne's grill, there are many times you could nearly be transported. The meal highlight for me was definitely the poached eggs with grilled asparagus and a hearty dose of their absolutely dreamy hollandaise. That said, one of my tablemates ordered the potato hash with mackerel and poached egg which was also fantastic. And while it sounds simple, I was blown away by a freshly baked scone with their homemade jam. It seems like the type of establishment that would only get sexier throughout the evening, but I'd highly recommend getting their for an early morning brekkie before exploring Wellington. It'll definitely do the trick.

Faultless, consistent, reliable, efficient, and custard-filled doughnuts. Our favourite cafe for breakfast in Wellington Central. Food and eggs are always top-notch. My usual is the ham-off-the-bone combo. The manager/host is very attentive, it feels like classy restaurant service. While always busy, dining never feels rushed. Interiors are distinctive. I love the wallpaper.

Fantastic breakfast. Coffee was especially well done and flavorful. Many vegetarian options. My wife and I enjoyed everything we had.

Lovely place for brunch bites and wine. The falafel salad bowl was amazing. And can't go wrong with the chips and aioli.

A very good brunch spot right on Cuba Street! LOVED their avocado toast. Good coffee. I've never been for dinner, but it always looks busy!

Our food order was nothing complex: a steak salad, eggs Benedict and chicken pancakes. The pancakes ended up being second choice because, 20 minutes after our order was taken, we were told that a first choice wasn't available. Our meals eventually arrived about 40 minutes later. Needless to say it was not worth the wait. The steak salad was on par with what you would expect from a petrol station (if petrol stations sold steak salads) tasteless dressing and day-old meat. I would normally expect eggs Benedict to have about 3/4 to 1 cup of hollandaise sauce, this dish had at least three cups of some sort of oily ersatz hollandaise sauce to swim in. I think I am comfortable to say that the chicken pancakes were unremarkable. Given the above, that's a win for Leuven. I'll be discouraging friends and family from visiting this place for anything other than satisfying their hankering for a Belgian beer.

The atmosphere is French bistro. The food is lovely to look at, served piping hot and very tasty. They also have a good beer selection on tap. We will be going back tomorrow morning for the breakfast special before we leave town. I highly recommend that you stop in for breakfast or lunch while you are in town. Well, we did stop back for the breakfast special Monday morning. Best eggs EVER. Great food-wonderful service and they even have a great music playlist. What's not to love? Great way to end our visit to Wellington!
