Our intention was to try a few of the different specialty cake/bakery stores in the Springfield, IL area, but after meeting Dena and tasting her incredible cupcakes, there was no need. She had the most delicious freshly baked cupcakes waiting for us and was very helpful on design ideas and budget needs. So affordable! She truly cared about what we wanted and I was impressed with how fun and welcoming her bakery is. It is as colorful as she is! I have so many things to stress about leading up to the wedding, but this is not one of them! The venue is on the northwest side of Springfield and she was more than happy to deliver and set up everything at our venue, we just have to sit back and wait for the goodies to arrive! I cannot wait to see and taste the end result of Dena's hard work! Thank you Sweet Cake Creations!

I got really lost coming to this place not because of where it is, but because the GPS directions…read moreto take you every which way, but the right way lol. But in the midst of getting lost, I found some really cool unique things inside of the building that this bakery is located in so it was a win overall. Anyway, I was really excited to try it and I looked it up before I came. I heard they had some very unique things and I was not surprised that unique was exactly what it was. They had so many different flavors of chips so many different sauces, homemade maple, pretty much anything you can think of that can be homemade in a flavor they had it and I loved it. I love how they had an area to sit down if you wanted to enjoy the bakery items or you could take them to go, which is what we opted for since we were having to get back on the road. Got some of the chips to try and they were not bad at all and grabbed some focaccia and a cinnamon roll and I must say everything was immaculate. It was so soft that bread and the cinnamon roll and I cannot wait to go back again. It was also very welcoming everyone was friendly and they moved very quickly in there.

The owner always has quite an assortment of flavors (even though I ask her to exclude the chocolate ones, since I'm not a fan of chocolate (heresy, I know!))
