Yesterday, I stopped by because I wanted a little something for dessert, and of course, I had to get my favorite--the Confetti Bundtlet. It is absolutely to die for! It's basically a little cake with a huge amount of that delicious cream cheese frosting in the middle, and it is SO good. They have so many different flavors, too! They even have a gluten-free Chocolate Chip Cookie option, and it's really good. My daughter prefers the Double Chocolate, and we love it so much that we're even planning to have it at her Confirmation party! It's also super convenient when you're on the go--very family-friendly and super fast to get in and out. The only downside is that they close pretty early, around 6 PM, so you have to make sure you get there before then. If you haven't tried Nothing Bundt Cakes, definitely give them a try!

Always beautifully presented, incredibly moist and utterly delicious…read more The Lemon Raspberry Bundtlet (regular, not gluten-free) is such a treat. The lemon flavor is not overwhelming or super synthetic tasting and the raspberry adds a bright, balanced taste. It's my absolute favorite! The icing is velvety smooth - and there's just the right amount to balance out the cake. Embracing the flavors of the season, I tried the Turtle Cheesecake Swirl. It was a bit disappointing, as the nuts were a bit soft and the flavors I expected never really shone through. There wasn't any Oreo cookie to be found, though that's in the description and the pics, so that one was my least favorite overall. Their prices appear to have risen exponentially in just the last couple of years, so for me, it's more of an occasional splurge than a regular stop.

I was excited to give it a try since I love trying dirty sodas from different places. Unfortunately, the soda selection available for the promotion was pretty limited. While there are a lot of options advertised online, only a handful were available with the free offer, and most of them contained coconut. Since I can't have coconut, I was left with the root beer option, which isn't really my favorite. Because of that, I don't feel like I got a fair chance to experience what their dirty sodas have to offer, so I'll probably stick with my usual local spots for those. Now, the cookies are a completely different story. Crumbl cookies are always delicious. They're huge, rich, and definitely made for sharing (or saving half for later!). They're one of our favorite treats for birthdays, celebrations, or just because. I have a teenager, and while flowers might not impress her, surprising her with a Crumbl cookie absolutely does. Ordering through the app is always quick and easy, and my orders have consistently been accurate. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the rewards program. It doesn't really give me much incentive to visit more often. Overall, while I wasn't sold on the dirty soda experience, Crumbl's cookies continue to be some of my favorite sweet treats. They're the kind of dessert that's worth splurging on every once in a while, and we'll definitely keep coming back for the cookies.

I have had different forms of kolache, and at first I did not think I have had St Louis Kolache. After getting home and sinking my teeth into them I realized I had them during the pandemic. I worked as an ER nurse and someone sent them in for us - "supporting the Hero's". I was offered a random selection of items: sloppy Joe style, Mac-n-cheese, chicken, some type of sausage (maybe a brat of some kind) as savory selection. The sweet selection was a cinnamon roll, apple filled, s'more style, and a chocolate fudge crumble. My favorites were the sloppy Joe style, Mac-n-cheese (has bacon), the cinnamon roll, and the chocolate fudge crumble (not 100% sure on the name). The dough is enough to fill any carb addict's craving. An easy and quick snack or meal to grab on the go. Not a sit down restaurant, has a few tables available - but more for the grab and go. The location I went to in sits across from Mercy Kids clinic and right down the road from St Charles Community College. Location is great to grab a quick breakfast on the way to work or lunch while running errands. They close at 2:00 pm. Easy to reheat in an air fryer - 300 degrees for 5 minutes. Or a quick pop in the microwave. Stop in and give them a try. Let Rod know where you heard about his location: Yelp
