I would encourage everyone local to visit when they place their order because Janie is a true treasure. I have no clue about flowers and hate ordering from stock photos online. The best florists are often able to achieve much more spectacular results when you allow them to draw inspiration. She really listened as I explained the things I liked from certain photos and some of my Dad's favorite flowers. The best part was she actually pulled willow from her own backyard to incorporate into the arrangement. I could not have been more happy at how she captured the elements and details. The final product far exceeded my expectation. We also received a beautiful basket from her shop. If you are looking for someone to replace your traditional Humphreys, Jewels, or Abingdon Florist orders this is the woman you need to call. He never had the experience of renting a tux, and unfortunately this place went to the high school and not only sized kids but had them choose colors and styles, so I never had an opportunity to make sure he was asking all the questions he needed to. When it came time to try the tux on, we were told that is the style he chose and it's loose fitting and if we wanted to change it we would be responsible for an additional 50+ to expedite shipping. He had no idea there were different styles, and no clue to ask about it. It's unfortunate that this company took this experience upon themselves to go to the school without parents present and imo take advantage of unknowing teens. They were expensive for renting a tux that was ill fitted, and next time we will rent with someone else.

With no reviews or photos I didn't have much to go on but I thought it was worth a shot. First it's in a beautiful historic house that long ago was once the home and office to a local doctor ... there's even a plaque by the front door. When you walk in it's a beautiful foyer with a grand stair case. The foyer is filled with little decorative items for sale. To the right is one of the rooms which I guess you would consider the shop. The had lots of little trinkets for grave sites or flower arrangements/gifts available to choose from. The owner and her assistant were sitting down for a much needed lunch break as they had been slammed with so much funeral work that day but told my friend and I to make ourselves at home ... we looked around the shop and what looked like flower studio. They didn't really have anything on display and they usually don't take walk ins but they were more than happy to help me out. I gave the owner a general idea of what I was looking for and she made me the perfect, most beautiful bouquet of flowers. I should have gave her a price range because it was a little more than I had planned on spending but ultimately I thought it was so beautiful and definitely was worth the price. She even provided me a vase with a stand to place the flowers in at the grave site. This place does a wonderful job! What a great new local business!
