NOT A LOCAL FLORIST. HORRIFIC. DO NOT ORDER!!!! Was supposed to deliver flowers to my friend at Mayo Clinic Hospital on a Monday. When my friend did not receive, I called on Tuesday morning. They said the address I listed did not exist...this is the address of Mayo Clinic. Absurd. When she did not receive them on Tuesday either, I called and they said the delivery was turned away. They could not tell me why the delivery driver never called me, even though I instructed that on my previous call and they told me the delivery driver would if any issues occurred. I demanded the order be cancelled and a refund processed because my friend was now being discharged. They said they had to "look into it." A week after the promised date of delivery, they called to claim the flowers were delivered to a gift shop. None of it makes any sense. My daughter sent me a bouquet from Flowers by Eva last week. When it arrived, I noticed that all of the colors in it were not "my colors", and wondered how my daughter could get things so twisted. After sharing a picture with her, my daughter said that it wasn't what she selected at all. We contacted the company to have it fixed, but they said their posted policy explains that they can ship whatever they want, depending on availability. Why should one even bother to pick out an arrangement, if only 1 flower would be correct: the yellow button poms.  It is ridiculous to even think this arrangement would be an acceptable substitution.  I can't believe a florist lacked availability on so many items, especially since it was ordered over a week after Mother's Day! Where do I begin!!! This shop is an absolute joke. I spent 30 minutes speaking with the florist at Flowers By Eva setting up an arrangement that needed to be delivered that day for my very good friend's newborn baby delivery. The lady I spoke with walked me through the different flowers she would be putting together in the arrangement. She sounded like she really knew what she was doing. I thought the arrangement she was explaining to me sounded amazing and my friend would absolutely love them. Mind you, this was a Saturday at 10am or so. Well, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!! I received an email roughly 5 hours later explaining they couldn't honor my purchase and would be refunding my card within 3-5 business days. WOW!! An Email, Really!!!! I don't sit and stare at my email waiting for them to come through. I'm just glad I happened to go to my inbox for something else or I wouldn't have seen it at all until Monday. How in the world do you have a local flower shop and take an order for a floral arrangement that you dont even have flowers for. I was absolutely shocked to say the least. And when I called the shop, the lady basically blamed it on their supplier and she really didn't seem to give a crap about me or my purchase. I believe she even put the phone down while I was talking to her. You absolutely need to stay far away from this place. I wish I had looked at yelp before ordering. I wanted to support a small, local business to deliver a flower arrangement and now I can only assume the reviews I saw online were scam reviews. Facebook has their comments turned off and angry face emojis, and all the recent comments here on Yelp give me no hope for an actual resolution. I selected the deluxe option for this arrangement and understood that Substitutions could be made if something was out. As you can see, what was sent is nearly half the size of the example. There are what looks like less than 10 flowers in the entire arrangement that was sent vs over 12 in the example photo just on one side. I ordered 4 days ago, so I would have thought if there was an issue with the arrangement or if they were out of so many things, they would have called to ask if I wanted to do something different. This was not worth the nearly $100 total spent on it. I don't know how flower companies like this stay in business and dupe people like this. Will update when/if they follow-up. read more

This flower shop is truly disappointing. I called the shop around 10:30 am to confirm something and ask a few questions before placing my order online. The associate knew that my order was for a visitation and funeral the next day. Everything was good to go. Around 430pm I go to my email to look something up and I have a super automated generic email from Clarisse saying my order was going to be canceled due to inventory. The email was sent around 2 PM. I immediately called the shop because at this point it's almost 5 o'clock. I don't have many options. I speak to a Caesar and he confirms what Clarisse already said in the. I tell him that I will take anything- any floral arrangement they could provide. I just want to send something to offer my condolences for this family. He proceeds to tell me that he has nothing. OK so you have zero flowers in your shop? He says correct. I asked him for recommendations of anyone that could possibly help in the area. He said no. I explained to him that had Clarisse called me at 2 PM instead of emailed me then I would've had time to make other arrangements. In situations like this a phone call is definitely necessary. I am a stay at home Mom and have no reason to check my email all day. I would've definitely noticed a phone call. I explained this to Cesar. He gives me no explanation on why no one called me. so basically according to Cesar if this shop has zero flowers, zero recommendations and they don't make phone calls. I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent order for our Aunt's funeral (Order E-3106-408187-8845). If we could give zero stars, we would. While the flowers arrived on time, the arrangement we received was nowhere near the quality represented in the order. The accompanying card was written so poorly it looked as though a child had written it, which was especially upsetting given the occasion. What was delivered, a small sprig of daisies, three roses, two sprigs of alstroemeria, and a bit of eucalyptus, looked more like an inexpensive grocery store bouquet than a premium funeral arrangement. I'm giving them one star only because after eight days of them saying they were attempting to deliver flowers, they did give me my money back. I had 17 emails back and forth with them telling me they attempted delivery 5 times. My recipient was home for 3 of those days. Amazingly after they refunded me on the eighth day, the flowers were delivered on the ninth day and left on the porch in 10 degree weather. Greenery was frozen and ruined and my $70 dollar bouquet consisted of 5 flowers past full bloom. If you use Flowers by Eva you'd be crazy. I'm mad at myself for not googling them first.
