They could not tell me why the delivery driver never called me, even though I instructed that on my previous call and they told me the delivery driver would if any issues occurred. My daughter sent me a bouquet from Flowers by Eva last week. When it arrived, I noticed that all of the colors in it were not "my colors", and wondered how my daughter could get things so twisted. After sharing a picture with her, my daughter said that it wasn't what she selected at all. We contacted the company to have it fixed, but they said their posted policy explains that they can ship whatever they want, depending on availability. Why should one even bother to pick out an arrangement, if only 1 flower would be correct: the yellow button poms.  It is ridiculous to even think this arrangement would be an acceptable substitution.  I can't believe a florist lacked availability on so many items, especially since it was ordered over a week after Mother's Day! I wish I had looked at yelp before ordering. I wanted to support a small, local business to deliver a flower arrangement and now I can only assume the reviews I saw online were scam reviews. Facebook has their comments turned off and angry face emojis, and all the recent comments here on Yelp give me no hope for an actual resolution. I selected the deluxe option for this arrangement and understood that Substitutions could be made if something was out. As you can see, what was sent is nearly half the size of the example. There are what looks like less than 10 flowers in the entire arrangement that was sent vs over 12 in the example photo just on one side. I ordered 4 days ago, so I would have thought if there was an issue with the arrangement or if they were out of so many things, they would have called to ask if I wanted to do something different. STAY AWAY! I ordered flowers for a co-workers bday, I specifically wanted same-day delivery. All on the website looks good & promises a customer everything they want to hear, but this company won't deliver as promise. There's a 2 hour time difference between my co-worker & I, so I fortunately had the ability to keep track. By 7pm CST I reached out to my co-worker & found out she didn't receive her surprise, I was heartbroken as I wanted it to be a totally surprise. I spent 30 minutes speaking with the florist at Flowers By Eva setting up an arrangement that needed to be delivered that day for my very good friend's newborn baby delivery. The lady I spoke with walked me through the different flowers she would be putting together in the arrangement. She sounded like she really knew what she was doing. I thought the arrangement she was explaining to me sounded amazing and my friend would absolutely love them. Mind you, this was a Saturday at 10am or so. Well, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!! I received an email roughly 5 hours later explaining they couldn't honor my purchase and would be refunding my card within 3-5 business days. WOW!! An Email, Really!!!! I don't sit and stare at my email waiting for them to come through. I'm just glad I happened to go to my inbox for something else or I wouldn't have seen it at all until Monday.
