What a cute find! I stopped in after noticing this shop on my bikeride. I was in need for a hanging basket and to my surprise, it was BOGO! All the hanging baskets were perfectly groomed and giant. In addition, all the annuals were also BOGO. I always feel called to support small businesses and felt the creativity from the exterior mural to the floral arrangements outside. The interior offers boutique items such as dresses, sleep wear, body products, cards, chocolate and even some small furniture. I felt the pricing was fair and the cashier and I shared the same name, Tiffany. I saw some reviews that weren't very positive but decided to go with this business as they were a well-established family florist. The floral arrangement they sent was beautiful however it wasn't even close to what the picture was it was supposed to have been very dark burgundy's and blues I asked them for a touch of white when in reality the arrangement was 60% White no dark Rich blue and very little dark rich burgundy. It was a beautiful arrangement though and I understand flower shops don't always have on hand what the picture is. Called from Texas to order a Mother's Day gift (for my mother) in Rochester. I could not have been any more pleased with the service! The kindly person walked me through the floral options, recommending a hanging basket of flowers in bloom (which my mother loved). They also recommended a wonderful pop-up Mother's Day card and hand wrote the greeting (which my mother also loved). And, as if this could get any better, they delivered all of it later that afternoon (which my mother found completely shocking in that I could get a Mother's Day gift to her on time, early even). I am from out of state and wanted flowers delivered to my boyfriend in the hospital in Rochester. Came across FBJ online, I looked up their instagram to double check and saw the most beautiful arrangements and decided to place an order online and ordered a Traditional Moody and a box of chocolates. The flowers received look nothing like the pictures on their website or instagram of what they call a Traditional Moody. The pictures are completely deceiving. I was so upset and disappointed when I saw the flowers that had been delivered. If the shop doesn't count with the same exact flowers as the ones on the picture provided to the customer at least make the arrangement match the standard of what you are offering online. read more

I had lots of problems doing a long distance online order for my family in Rochester. I would recommend not relying on the online service for delivery. When I ordered: - website promotional code that lures you into website does not work. No discount is actually given at order: - although you order well before cutoff time, this Jerry's cannot do same day delivery; and, - if you receive a confirmation email that gives a confirmation code and assurance delivery will occur, don't rely on this. You will need to call the shop to ensure they have the order and can actually deliver. Basically, do NOT rely on the website to order your loved ones arrangements. Call the shop instead and talk it through in person. The website does not work if your flowers have to be there. read more

Bought what I thought was this beautiful colorful arrangement and my mom got an arrangement that was completely different.. literally got an all green arrangement. Spoke to the Dylan , gave me a twenty percent discount on the arrangement and said he couldn't completely refund me because they still had to pay the third party?? Never ever, ever order from these online scammers. I REPEAT NEVER ORDER FROM THEM!! Scammers. I ordered flowers for a funeral taking place in another state. The flowers were confirmed to be delivered before the 4 PM service the next day. An email was sent the day of funeral, informing me they "Received your two orders. We are not located in that area. We have a Nationwide Service and would transfer your order to an FTD Affiliate. The flower shop in KS is closed on Saturdays. Therefore the soonest these could be delivered is on Monday. (2 days after funeral) Then a 2nd email on MON stating: they wouldn't be delivering the arrangement because they didn't have the flowers. This was NOT a fancy arrangement. I was left flat with no way to get flowers to the funeral, or even to the residence on Mon. I was mortified and soo EMBARRASSED and LIVID! They advertised that they are local and guaranteed same day delivery. Please check a local florist before using online scammers, so you won't be stuck without flowers. They are nothing but a scam. The site actually makes it self look like it Is local to anywhere you search in a Google search for a local florist. That is so misleading and deceptive!! I intentionally wanted to use a local New York company to a location I was not familiar with and to support a small business. The site intentionally hides its true identity. Who does that!!! After receiving a call (from a Minnesota #) on the afternoon the flowers were to be delivered, they said that they couldn't locate the address themselves (using the white pages!!!) and requested I give them the phone # of the person to receive the flowers. I was hesitant but gave it, still thinking they were a local mom and pop shop. I became suspicious and went back the website and discovered their intentional deceptive business model of representing themselves as local to the area you search. The contact page is completely blank and way down at the bottom, in small font, shows a location in Rochester, MN. Very fraudulent!! When I received a confirmation delivery email later the next day I thought well OK at least my friend received my flowers. Didn't hear from friend so I called to make sure they got it. You guessed it, they didn't!!! Called the Rochester, MN phone no. from the delivery email and first I got hung up on during a "transfer". Second call, they said they would get back to me after some research. Few hours later they called back to say again they couldn't find the address and not delivered. I immediately cancelled and was told I would get an email with cancellation. Still waiting for that, and immediately put a stop on the credit card transaction. This is my second order via this florist and my last. Since they apparently are not in the business of actually delivering the flowers you order without notifying the recipient because they can't find their way out of town you have no hope of sending flowers as a surprise! Being in the transportation and delivery business ourselves we understand how important it is to not count on Google to get us where we are going but apparently unless Google takes them turn by turn they can't manage to deliver an order. Website appears to be for a local vendor. In fact, they are not based in the city I searched (Kansas City) but have only one location in MN. I requested delivery of funeral flowers by noon and was told this would be done. They were delivered at 2:30 after the funeral. Further, the email confirmation provided only the date, and not even a photo of the flowers. Jerry's basically said their out of state partner does not provide photo or delivery stamp. These were expensive flowers, and I would have chosen 1-800 flowers if the website clearly indicated it is not Jerry's flowers I was using. read more

I placed an order to be delivered to a nearby funeral home. 5 minutes into the service DAY OF, I got a call from a corporate number out of Maryland telling me they wouldn't be able to complete the order because they have no one in the area to deliver. What kind of organization aims to mislead people in mourning?? Gerry's false advertising left me unable to send sympathy to the funeral home, and their last minute phone call didn't allow time to find a more reputable florist. I called to get a custom flower arrangement for my dads funeral review .I met with a extremely knowledgeable sales rep ,at their front counter( by the way I parked out side their front door and parked for free ) and with in minutes ,together we picked out the flowers I wanted ,and he suggested certain ones ,that will work best for my request. They get one star because up until today their service had been goodish. There was that one time they spelled my wife's name wrong. Today was a whole new level of poor service. Lady answered the phone. I hold her I wanted to send flowers to my wife for her birthday tomorrow. She asked if I had ordered with them before. Yes I had. We went back and forth about my name. She seemed to have trouble with the fact that my last name in recent years has become a not unusual first name. I thought we had my last name when she asked for my last name again. I told her I just gave her my last name. She said "sir I asked for your first name". I gave her my first name. She had to check the spelling starting with the last three letters. I thought that's odd but ok. Then she spelled my first name front to back. I asked if she had found me in their system. Answer was no. Now we are clearly in manual mode. She ask what time I would like the flowers delivered tomorrow. I answered 10:00 am. I was told they could not do that. They could do morning. I ask what time was morning. I searched for a florist to deliver flowers for my sister's birthday. On the search engine, this was noted as a local florist - NOT! The FTD logo should have been a clue, so my bad. I ordered online, paid online, got a confirmation online, then later an email saying they did not have the vase I wanted in stock, so would replace with a clear vase. They said my phone # to the recipient was wrong which it may have been ?, but the address was correct and still, the flowers were not delivered. I am currently in China and cannot do much to change these situations other than be frustrated from afar. I cancelled and still waiting to see if my bank account was charged. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. I placed an order online and called to confirm the day of. They told me the order would be delivered by 2pm. 4pm rolled around and they still had not been delivered. I tried calling again and never got an answer. I got a delivery confirmation at 5:20pm, but the business was closed by then, so there was no way it could have been delivered. I finally got ahold of someone this morning and they said that the delivery man didn't have time to deliver, so he brought it back to the shop and marked it as delivered "by mistake" and that they would add extra roses since it's a day late. I asked to cancel the order and get my money back since the occasion had already passed. They said they would refund, so we will see if that happens. Flowers are often sent for a special occasion and it is horrible business to not deliver on time. This happened in Seattle, but it looks like they are unreliable in other places as well. We live in Hawaii, and a friend of ours traveled all the way to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for surgery. Having a medical procedure is certainly a stressful enough experience, never mind being thousands of miles from home. I phoned "Flowers by Jerry" in Rochester and immediately felt in good hands with Bev, who helped me select an arrangement with tropical flowers, which would make our friend feel a little closer to home...and we added a plush teddy bear, which will "live" with our friend during her recovery, after the flowers fade. The day before delivery, I called "Flowers by Jerry" again; Chris carefully took down the Hawaiian phrase I gave her for the card that would accompany the arrangement. And finally, before the gift was sent out of the shop for delivery, I think it might have been Dylan (?) who texted me a photo. My friends and I send a heartfelt mahalo nui loa to all the staff at "Flowers by Jerry" !!! read more
