He took my phone- hooked me up- hand wrote specific directions to my destination- while i contacted my daughter to let her know where I was. We paid at arrival (paying by card instead of cash would have been a bit more costly). The place looked very similar to what Music Box used to be like. Same neon lights at the bar and entrance, similar rooms and similar control boards. We were in room six, which smelled like cigarettes. It wasn't extremely strong, but strong enough to have stayed in my clothes and hair afterwards, and make my asthmatic friend cough. So that was a bummer. We were offered a free water pitcher, which was enough for the four of us. There were two microphones. The control board was fairly easy to use, and the selection of songs for non-asian music was okay but not too extensive. It was a lot of fun, except for the cigarette smell.
