I took my first class at Fly Club two months ago and I was nervous if I would be able to look good, and self conscious about my weight because I'm a curvy girl. From the moment I walked in the studio, I was welcomed with smiling faces. My first class was a dance class and it was amazing. The teacher was friendly, explained the movements piece by piece so it was easy to understand and follow along. Fly club is a upscale studio and is bigger than a lot of studios I been to, the poles are tall which I like, and they are so clean and well organized. They have a variety of classes for all skill levels, and amazing skilled teachers that are compassionate and encouraging. I have now tried multiple classes. I feel Fly Club is a healing community. It's so inclusive, and promotes body positivity. When I'm in the studio, I feel accepted, and more importantly seen. Fly club helped me ignite a power inside me that feels amazing! They are truly helping me grow my confidence and skills on and off the pole. I'm at the studio 2-3 times a week now. Come fly with me! read more

As a transgender person I did not feel safe or welcome here. I experienced issues I have never experienced at any other pole studio which gave me the clear message that I was not welcome. I am going to lean into the other 5-6 trans friendly and inclusive studios in town instead. read more

I came here a couple of weekends ago for a private party. It was so fun. We had 90 minutes of instruction followed by 90 minutes of social time. Our instructor was fantastic. We were an older, out of shape group. We warmed up, did a chair dance routine slowly, and then learned a couple of moves on the pole. It was a fantastic workout, and really fun. The room was big. We were able to bring in a table to set up our food and drinks. The space is really nice, all the staff were wonderful. read more

I've been visiting Chicago for about a month now and I've loved my experience at Fly Club. I've taken a private lesson, flexibility classes, spin pole, beginner and intermediate pole classes, open studio time, and exotic heels. (I'm trying to sample as much as I can before I head back to NY). I have to say that no matter which class I take or who is teaching it, it's always a positive experience. I believe our instructor was Danielle but she took her pants off when she said her name and I couldn't focus cause her ass is amazing... speaking of booty, she said if you make a mistake just get up ass first. I absolutely love this studio! I've improved my flexibility and mobility dramatically, ive gotten better with heels even with the struggle bus of carpet, and have gained some strength on pole too, even though I haven't been as consistent with those classes as with the others. I started with a few classes online (I'm from TX) and honestly I had to upgrade to a membership bc I take classes 3-4x a week, their irl prices are great too, especially with having such fantastic instructors! I've been a part of the fly club community for 4 months now and I wish I had walked through the doors sooner. I've never felt more welcomed into a fitness environment and my yoga practice their means everything to me. Their approach to introducing you to new classes makes it easy to stay consistent. Watching the instructors interact with their in class students and online members it's easy to see how equally committed they are to everyone getting the most out of the class. EVERYTHING IS CLEAN. I'm a Fly Girl, I do Fly shit. Fly Club has easily become one of my favorite places. I've been coming here every week since July 2019. The space is amazing and inviting and every instructor that I've had has been beyond kind. I started my pole journey years ago and to say I was rusty was an understatement. Each class I've attended I've gotten nothing but words of encouragement from my instructor and loud cheers of YAAAAASSSSSS from my peers each time I attempted or landed a trick. I took a break because of Covid and have been gone for a year, but coming back was not even an issue. They're taking all the precautions to insure that everyone in the studio is safe. They're taking temperatures, having patrons wash their hands, and social distancing in class. Come here for the yoga, chair, burlesque or pole classes and stay for the connections you make with others. I've been taking classes at fly club for a few months now and the teachers are knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated. I've taken pole, yoga and flexibility classes and every instructor I've had is very good at adapting to your learning style and teaching you safe and proper techniques to build a good solid foundation while still making it fun and interesting. The studio space is clean, gorgeous, with plenty of natural and mood lighting, and an excellent sound system. The exposed brick is an amazing backdrop for my videos. There are plenty of poles for everyone, and different brands - Lupit, X Pole and Platinum so you can try them all and see which suits you best. I've come to known Monique and Caitlin, the co-owners well, and not only are they great instructors, they are also fantastic people. I've found a family here. This is my number 1 pole home. All of the instructors are SO welcoming, encouraging, and freaking talented. The classes are usually 90 mins and honestly, they fly by because they're so fun. And special attention is given to all that take the class.
