Now that I'm a member, I typically go to the Roseville location but I occasionally go to different studios depending on which classes I want to take and my schedule. All the studios are super clean and tidy. Sandy owns the YogaFit Roseville location and she is awesome! She is very welcoming and quickly helps out with any questions or issues that may come up. The Roseville location is typically less crowded than the Northeast and Loring Park locations (I've never been to the Linden Hills location) and also has a free parking lot right out front. There are basically six types of classes currently offered - Burn, Barre, HIIT, Flow 1, Flow 2 and Restore. Burn, Barre and HIIT are more cardio and strength training classes (utilizing weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls, etc) but with a yoga-based warm-up and cool-down. Some of the classes are heated and some are unheated which is indicated on the schedule. The Burn, Barre and HIIT classes are challenging and I always feel stronger after taking them and I see changes in my body if I consistently attend classes. Flow 1, Flow 2 and Restore are what you would expect from the average yoga class. All the instructors are very friendly, fun and have great taste in their music selections. The essential oils and wet lavender washcloths are a wonderful addition to the cool-down portion of some of the classes. Things to know for new members: -Free one week trial for non-members -Each studio has mats you can borrow in case you didn't bring your own -Each location is open 24/7 so members can stop by and get a workout in via a video during non-class hours -You can do a monthly membership, buy a package with a fixed number of classes or do drop-in classes. YogaFit occasionally offers specials for various types of seasonable memberships -No lockers available but cubbies and shoe racks are out front and your belongings are safe since the outside door locks when someone isn't at the front desk .. you can use your keycard to unlock the outside door too -YogaFit is an active within the community and instructors typically let the class know of events taking place within and outside of the studio I'm so glad I was introduced to YogaFit! I'm stronger and more aware of my body in space. Exercises are challenging with stretches built in. All the teachers are great, but I often find myself in classes taught by Heather, Sophie, and Samantha. Core is a small, very welcoming studio and can accomodate levels of practice from beginners to more advanced practice. I have been helped immeasurably to recover from more than one surgery. Personal limitations are taken into account and modifications are always available if needed. This is a very respectful atmosphere which helps to inspire continued participation.

I had never been on a reformer in my life and only taken 2 Pilates mat classes ever. The owner and trainer, Tracy, did a great job explaining moves and checking alignment. I felt safe and challenged. What a work out! They don't have any photos on the website, but the studio is spanking new and classy. There are chandeliers hanging from the black ceiling. Important when you are on your back. It was a pretty typical barre workout, we warmed up with some movement before using resistance bands, small yoga balls, light hand weights, and sliders. We ended with a cooldown stretch and breathing. It was a great holistic full body workout that is definitely suited for all levels. I was dripping sweat throughout LOL I usually go to solidcore since I have a membership but since injuring my shoulder, I have been taking a break and trying to find new places that are lower impact on my shoulder. I was able to make lots of modifications while still getting a good burn in. I definitely recommend this barre workout for people looking to be active with a slight challenge.

I always leave here feeling like I had a great workout and really worked hard. This studio offers a variety of classes throughout the day. If I was in closer proximity I'd come more often. Classes are pricey though and it's expensive to be a member here. All kinds of packages are available but a 3-6 month pass ranges from $300-500. I love this studio but not sure it's worth these prices to me.

While the overall structure of class is the same (sections for upper body, thighs, abs, etc), each instructor brings their own style and moves to class, which keeps it both interesting and challenging! Second, the workout itself is TOUGH but in a good way, and even the most in-shape person is going to find it challenging. But don't let that scare you if you've never done barre! Third, they are welcoming to everyone! My classes so far have been filled with women of all ages and abilities. There's no judgment if you need to take breaks, and the instructors are there to help you if you're not sure how to do a certain move or to help adjust your form. There is plenty of parking, there are cubbies and some lockers available, and they have a small retail area if you're looking to buy workout tops, grippy socks, etc.
