Not even worth 1 star!! Where do I start ... We arranged to arrive at the carpark at 6:30am - we arrived at 6:28am and the driver was pulling out as we were pulling in. He said that he couldn't wait for us any longer and that he will be back in 15mins. We ended up waiting in the rain for 25 mins. When he returned we expressed that we were not impressed given he could have allowed us to jump in when we arrived (early!) His attitude towards us was to play it down yet it was very obvious that he knew he had made us late by his erratic driving that resulted in a crash with another vehicle. Thankfully our flight was slightly delayed! It doesn't end there. When we returned and had grabbed our bags I rang the number provided and advised that we were ready to be picked up and that we were about to make our way to the pickup point .... in the past this is what we were told to do and it would usually take the van 10-20mins to arrive. However, the voice on the other end said that he was already there waiting for us so we made our way to the van as fast as we could. When we arrived the manager Jack Panny was clearly worked up and was being completely unprofessional by his snarly remarks about us holding him up. We responded by saying that it wasn't our fault that he took it upon himself to arrive early, well before we had even phoned him, and given his rude snarly remarks to us, we said that the service has been absolutely shocking. At this point he lost his shit! We are two females. The sentences coming out of his mouth were along the lines of "f*** you and shut the f*** up" he screamed and threatened to throw our bags out of the van, he stormed up into my face with clenched fists, he threw my car keys in my face and told me to piss off. This shocking behaviour went on for about 10mins until he realised I had started recording him. The temper on this man is insane. He went from 0-1000 - he was terrifying. Whatever you do, do not book with this company especially if you are a female. We have never experienced customer service like this in our lives !!! The previous time I used this company it was under different ownership and the owners/staff were absolutely amazing and we never had any issues! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! We had used these guys regularly until January 2019. We returned from a trip to discover that one of their staff had driven our vehicle into another. Their manager then denied that anything had occurred and has been very obstructive in sorting this out. Through no fault of our own we are now short of $1,000. Here we are 6 months later and we are still fighting to get our insurance excess back from them. They are dodgy. There are far better companies out there who operate professionally. Thankfully we have some hard evidence from one of their staff. read more

DO NOT USE FLY PARK. They of course insisted that they had not run our vehicle though the fuel level was lower than I recalled. Our windscreen wiper blades had been removed and the wipers run leaving large scratches across the windscreen. They had left the ignition on and flattened a brand new battery. When I contacted the owner Jack Penny he was extraordinarily rude and unprofessional. Due mostly to the poor behaviour of Jack Penny we have never used nor recommended Fly park again. read more

Takes a lot for me to write a review so, when I say, don't park here, I mean it. I've stupidly parked here probably 5 times due to desperation and cheaper prices, and of those times, 3 of them have turned out badly. First time, I arrived back at base and they couldn't find my car. After a couple hours, they found my car parked next door on a different premises. They then didn't have the keys to open the gate. Offered me their van to drive home in the mean time, which I flatly refused. Eventually, they managed to get the gates open and I got home 4 hours later. Second time, they knocked my left car mirror whilst parking my car. On pick up of my car, no one let me know about it. The mirror on my BMW now opens 180 degrees instead of 90. Third time was today, picked up my partner's truck to be told that we hadn't left the keys behind (which we most definitely had). Then, the keys we had left behind, they couldn't find. My partner and I had to help them look for the keys, which we found on the lost property pile. They then notified us that the car had to be moved manually, and when asked how because it was locked, they said they didn't know. Got home to find the left door bent, rubber on door broken, and the car that had freshly been wrapped in paint, was now scratched up significantly. Drove all the way back to the airport to complain, as mentioned by another review, no one was onsite to man the office. Called their 0800 number, and asked the man to come review the damage, and was told to get off their property!!! The story goes on in regards to terrible service, so all I can say is don't park here. read more

I used this business just last week as it was offering a cheaper rate than the airport parking company I usually use. I get the feeling that Fly Park is relatively new and still going through some 'operational' difficulties. Both when we dropped the car off and when we picked the car up there was only one staff member working. She seemed way too busy to be handling everything on her own, and it also meant that when she was dropping customers at the airport or picking customers up, there was no one manning the office, and no point of contact for new arrivals on the lot. Apart from this, I guess parking is parking and if it's cheaper for me to get the same parking here as it is down the road, then that's ok with me. But they will need to address their organisation because once word gets out that they're the cheaper operator, that poor woman is not going to be able to handle the level of customers! read more

Not a great experience, only one staff member on in the morning and van was too full so I had to wait for the one worker to return. Cold outside so a number of us huddled waiting for the staff member to return. On way to airport staff member was answering the phone whilst driving, no hands free in the van? Got to the airport late as a result but luckily made my flight. On return I phoned to advise I was at the airport, slow pick up time, then at office a number of keys all sprawled on the desk, of the 3 vehicle owners none were ours. They questioned me several times what my car rego was, after around 20 minutes my vehicle was discovered. I could easily have driven away in a nice new Mercedes, they would not have known the difference. Very poor overall. read more

I wouldn't even give it a star but I had to to review it. Got to the airport just in time for check in because they were so unorganised. Then they didn't even pick me up from the airport when I got home, I rang them twice after waiting 2 hours and they gave excuses both times but insisted someone would be there soon and then I rang again and got abused on the phone by one of the drivers. Ended up messaging my friend who was on the same flight to come back and pick me up. Would not recommend 0/10 read more

If parking at Auckland Airport I would recommend avoiding fly park. As mentioned in the last review, they are seriously understaffed, and still learning how to run a park and ride type business. I got to the airport OK, however on return they did not know my flight to pick me up, and started leaving before I had got in the van even though I had called to say I was there. That would have been alright if once we got to the depot they had my car ready. They had actually parked me in with two cars behind me - and had lost the keys to one of them. After 20 odd minutes siting in my car eventually they opened up enough space for me to crawl out. All in all it took longer to get away from the airport than my flight took - which is not really ideal. Air NZ parking, Auckland Airport Parking, or Park N Fly are all much better options. read more

I had great service here and very pleasant staff. I was picked up from airport in about 10 minutes after calling and car was ready and waiting. Great value at $25. Much more pleasant experience than I had at Park n Fly and cheaper. read more

I've used Flypark 6 times and the first 4 times were great and i could get in my car and drive away. The 5th time they didn't know where my car was... turns out someone parked it in their other carpark. Took about an hour to resolve. Said they would compensate my next trip (i had already booked another parking period the following week) but it never happened. The 6th time, I called up, they said 15-20 mins for pickup at international terminal. Rang back 40 mins later, they said they didn't know I was waiting and were sorry. I was picked up just after 60 minutes of waiting! This time they weren't short staffed. There were 3 people in the office and one driver. They just forgot about me and my call it seems. It wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't in a rush to get somewhere. Flypark just seems a bit inconsistent to me. I guess it depends on who is on at the time. read more

They lost my car too. I knew something was wrong when I called them from the airport to say I was ready to be picked up and they called back twice to confirm my name and car registration. On arrival at their depot (looong wait for their shuttle) I found they had "lost" my car - both physically and on their computer system. They took me through to the garage to see if I could recognise my key from the dozens on the wall. I could have been anybody wandering through and just lifted a key and taken a car (security was very lax). After about 10 minutes I mentioned they were supposed to take the car for a WOF and would that mean it was stored somewhere else. Another long wait while they followed this up, to find that they had taken my car to the WOF location the previous day and not picked it up. The WOF location was closed until Monday (this was happening on Saturday). They lent us a car to get home to the Waikato; it was a dented mess, full of holes, reeked of cigarette smoke and had an expiring WOF. We had no choice but to take the car to get home and return on Monday, losing a day's wages to do so. All attempts to contact the manager have been ignored, so we still have had no explanation as to what happened, no formal apology , and no offer of compensation for lost wages due to their incompetence. If I could give minus star I would I parked my car there in Aug for 3 days, when I return to pick up my car found the front bumper was scratched! I took picture at site and advise the stuff for the damage, she said to send her the picture and they will take care of it After 2 months contact by email, phone (even my insurance company try to contact for the claim) NO answer at all, every time they just said waiting for the manager to come back and will reply tomorrow but that "tomorrow" never come Totally disappointed with this service. Absolutely disgusting I would never use this company again, They failed to collect more than 10 people from both international and domestic terminals for more than 2.5hrs, we couldn't contact anybody and the emergency number is a joke it went straight to a message that said it couldn't be connected at this time, when they did finally arrive after the airport police managed to contact someone, there was no apology or explanation, We all requested a refund to be told to get lost. AVOID FLYPARK AT ALL COST. I have read the other reviews on this company and in addition to using our vehicle while we were out of the country they also left it unlocked in their parking lot. They were late on drop off and late on pick up and tried to lie and blame us. What makes this service the worst and I reccommend people avoid is that they abused us and swore at us with no provocation. They told us they didn't want our "kind of people" in their country and were extremely intimidating. Their driver threatened us and told us to watch out if he ever saw us on the street. So while other services like this one are late and rude, at least they didn't intimidate or threaten their customers. Late and rude is bearable, agressive and abusive behaviour is not. I hope that this will at least save one person from having to go through what we did, especially if they were not what FLYPARK considers "their kind of people" read more

They damaged my car, broke rear doors and window, than they changed the window but did not repair doors, broken glass everywhere and all my items inside car were wet. Thay though I will not find out or I find out later but I called Jack he came and told me he can pay 200 cash for the damage later I agreed because I had no time to argue. I keep contacting him other twoo weeks and at the end he told me that he is not going to pay and if I come he will call cops, I have everything saved and recorded this man is thief and liar. read more

My partner and I had a terrible experience with Flypark. We recently booked both drop off and pickup services to and from the international airport. We arrived on time and waited over 35 minutes with three other passengers for our driver to arrive - The premises was completely empty, so we phoned three different emergency numbers listed on the website, two of these appeared to be disconnected, and one went to answer phone. Frustrated and stressed with 15 minutes until our check in time closed, we ended up having to pay a small fortune and park at the airport. I then emailed a complaint through to the company owner, and his response was "sorry your driver slept in, and my phone was off, these things happen" - Highly recommend parking elsewhere. read more

In the past I've stuck with Aeroparks when traveling overseas and leaving cars with a valet service. However just recently I'd thought about changing tack and trying someone new, perhaps going for the cheaper angle. Well, that was a bad decision. Upon collecting my vehicle after four days away, it was deadly obvious a staff member -- perhaps even a friend or family -- had been joy-riding in my absence with over 80km on the ODO; the evidence coming in the form of a reset ODO trip before leaving the truck with Fly Park, fuel efficiency system read-out had sky rocketed and the interior/air-conditioning system stunk of cigarettes, and I don't smoke. It also turns out the old man had a very similar experience himself. To management and the staff at Fly Park, your abuse of property that does not belong to you has cost you business, and will ultimately be the demise of the company to. If you'd thought about, or planned on, using Fly Park, don't! Driving my car home after returning from overseas left me feeling like I'd been violated. And I bet there's a bunch more people out there feeling exactly the same way. read more

Grumpy staff, older shuttles, dodgy driving (basically speeding and racing back with the smaller people mover crammed with passengers and luggage), late pick up (after phoning, I was "lucky" to get in a shuttle after waiting 20 minutes, others had to wait for the next shuttle). Seems they have two shuttles: a people mover and a large van. Cheap but understaffed, overworked and poorly organised! Avoid like the plague! read more

We have proof the car was just out of the damned shop, now its all dented again. At least they could have said sorry ..... Pay the extra few dollar save yourself alot of heartache. WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS PARKING FACILITY - My car was in storage on their site for a month and was damaged by an intruder to their property - there are times when nobody is on site - their security is poor. They would not accept liability and the damage cost me hundreds of dollars. read more

I think the negative reviews of 4 years ago should be removed! We have used Flypark this year in February for 3weeks and will use again in June for 16days. All went well with our arrangements, good drop off and pickup, car ready, no problems, pleasant staff not fazed by a date mix up by me. read more

We spent an hour at the airport trying to contact Flypark to come and pick us up. In the end had to take a taxi to their premises. When we arrived at Fly Park the guy on duty said he wondered why we hadn't been in touch, admitted had trouble with both phone lines the day before - but hadn't even checked to see if phones were working. We have had no luck in getting a refund of our taxi fare - in fact, have had no response to three emails and two phone calls - his only comment being that it wasn't his fault - it was Vodafone. I would definitely not recommend you use this company - there are many others much more efficient and customer friendly. read more

The drop-off worked fine and although the facility was saturated with vehicles we were assured that their system worked well to ensure the vehicle would be ready for pick-up on return. Not so! Firstly, the small shuttle vehicle had already filled and could not accommodate us from the airport, resulting in a further 25 minute wait. During the trip to the depot an engine warning light illuminated and by journey's end there was a definite smell of over-heating. Our car was not in sight, and could not be found by the 'staff' as its park location had not been recorded! I eventually found it myself and with some tight manouvering, and the shifting of three other cars by the 'staff', we were eventually able to depart. In the meantime, and with what appeared to be the only shuttle out of commission, people heading to the airport were becoming very concerned that they would miss flights. The setup was such that the 'staff' consisted of only one young woman, who, when away driving the shuttle, had to leave the office unattended. One can safely assume that her responsibilities also included arranging and executing the parking plan as well! In short, the facility is over-crowded and under-manned, both of which not only places staff under tremendous pressure, but fails to provide a service that meets customer expectations. read more

I booked with Flypark last week and received a confirmation however, this didn't state the price that I would be paying. When booking, it said that the price would be confirmed. I emailed through to the team and received a response from Jack Penny who refused to tell me the price over several emails. This wasted my time and energy and have since booked with Park n Fly. It shows incompetence and arrogance that he couldn't tell me something so simple. Can't imagine what the service is like in person. Do not recommend. read more

I would not recommend this company, the lack of staff make this business very poorly organized. When dropping our car off the front reception was left unmanned, when being picked up there was only one guy doing the picking up, dropping off, finding cars, moving cars, answering phone calls, and finding keys. The front reception again left unmanned when he was out on the road. We felt so sorry for the guy who was clearly doing the best he could. We had to find our own car, then couldn't move it because it was wedged in between two other cars, another couple that were with us couldn't find their car until 20 minutes later. There seems to be no difference in the lack of staff from reading reviews 2013-2015. read more

I would never use this service again. Arrived to find cars crammed in and the service less than friendly. I felt really uneasy about leaving my car, but with a my flight leaving soon, I did not have any other option. I now have a couple of nice big scratches that will need to be repaired. Of course I cannot prove anything as no inspection etc was done on my arrival and to be frank with the level of service I received I am happy the damage is not worse. I had used this service years ago under the previous owners and had been very happy. I will be thrilled to pay the extra money charged by the Auckland Airport in the future to avoid Fly Park's rude and careless service. read more

I came back to find that my keys were not in the bunch of keys due to be picked up - and was then told, 'oh, the BMW, the battery was flat so we are just running it, the keys are in the car'. My car is only driven once a fortnight and the car has never failed to start immediately, even up to three weeks - and this was only two days. So then it was 'sorry, something must have been left on, the battery went flat, don't worry about it though, its fine now". Next i discovered that my house key and door opener had been removed from the car keys - this takes some doing as it is on a fine split ring. The keys couldn't have fallen off, but must have been physically removed. When i said 'come on guys, get your shit together, where are the rest of the keys!' one of the guys disappeared. Then i found that they had been placed down in the side of the door - none of this could be accidental, and there is no valid reason for the keys to have been removed. Lesson to the wise, don't leave your house keys on the car key ring. Still suspicious and have filed a note with the police. read more

When travelling with Fly Park my husband and I observed the WORST BEHAVIOUR WE HAVE EVER SEEN from a customer service representative. This was not aimed at us, but at fellow passengers. The driver was upset because these passengers had called twice for a pick up (not a big deal in our opinion). He proceeded to tell them aggressively that they needed to have patience and are not the only customers. He then told them to shut up and get in the van. Following this (when in the van) a discussion proceeded where he told them to shut the F*** up and that if they didn't he would make them hop out and walk the rest of the way. He also added he didn't F****n care if they complained. Further aggressive verbal abuse was targeted at these customers. It was disgusting behaviour and we will not use the company again on principle. We will also write a complaint, as the staff member should not be dealing with the public. read more

We have used Flypark twice. The 1st time they were ok. A bit slow to pick us up from the airport on return. The 2nd time and the last time we will ever use this company was last week. Had booked and paid for the car to be parked undercover. We rang from the airport after exiting customs. It took 40 mins for shuttle to arrive. Only one out of five of us could fit in the van, so I went and was going to collect the car and come back to pick up the others. When we got to Flypark they couldn't find my car. I was told to look for my keys and look around the car park. It clearly wasn't parked undercover, and wasn't even in the yard. It was dark and raining. The man working then said he had to go and pick up more customers, and told me to keep looking. Found the car an hour and a half later at another storage facility. Have had no response from emailing Flypark (Jack Penny). Please avoid using this business. It is poorly run. 'Fair go'need to get involved. read more
