3 of us have been waiting for nearly 40 minutes under the rain and cold night till being picked up after 3 times phone calls. One of us will need to take the next suttle due to no extra seats left. Me and my partner waited 45 mins before we were picked up by shuttle van. Only realizing there were other people also waiting to be picked up. One couple told us they rang 3 x times . My partner spoke to a male person who spoke good English but was very rude and wanted to cut off the conversation which he ended up hanging up on her. We eventually arrived at the park n fly depot where our car was and notice 2 x park n fly shuttle vans parked up which could of probably saved alot of time. We waited 30 minutes in the dark from an international flight from Australia, in cold drizzle late at night, mid-week on 15/7/24. When the shuttle eventually arrived, the driver did not look at us, or say hello. We had ridden in several shuttles in Australia, and the experiences were so positive. The van was packed, with every seat taken. My husband and his immediate neighbour could not put their seatbelts on, as we were so squashed in on the back row. Some of this could be forgiven if only the shuttle van driver had been more civil and personable. He can smile, as I saw him doing so later behind the counter to his colleague. We've been loyal to this company for many a visit, maybe it's time to try a different company...........Such as shame, all could be fixed with common courtesy and decency. read more

I recently used Park n Fly & was appalled upon collecting my car keys was told , that I would have to go & find my car in lane 5 of their carpark.It was dark , pouring with rain, I am a female , 72 years old & had to carry my bags trying to find my car.I felt really scared as I struggled on the uneven seal, walking in an area, I had never been before . A couple of times, I almost tripped. This is the first & definately the last time I would ever use this company. I recently parked my car at park n fly for approx 2 weeks. I had arrived in NZ around 7 PM after a long and tiring travel arrangement, only to find out that the battery on my vehicle was flat, all they did was leave a note with my keys. There was no preparation for my arrival, they knew the times and had no one on site to assist me. I had to wait for almost an hour for someone to assist me. When I asked for my information around what happened, the staff had a pretty blasé attitude towards the situation and just shrugged it off as it "happens all the time". You should be questioning why this happens all the time and why your staff lack the organization and care required to handle these situations. No incident report was recorded and I had to fill one out myself. No one got back to me so I had to email to follow up on this. A few days later I receive a reply with no applogy, no explanation as to what happened except for a simple explanation blaming me, as I had allegedly left something on and the battery drained in the valet parking. Yet I was advised the vehicle had to be jump started multiple times? I have never had battery issues before then and have had none since then either. I was never notified of this nor was my consent requested for jumpstarting my vehicle. No incident report was recorded even though that is supposed to be their procedure and they did not provide me with any additional information on the matter. I asked them to take ownership of this and I have not heard back since. I had filed a formal complaint and this was not taken seriously, nor did they have any complain resolution protocol in place. No timeframes were provided for contact, no apology and the information I requested was not provided. I strongly recommend you train your "senior customer service lead" more appropriately as they clearly do not have the tools, skill or experience needed to be handling complaints. Additionally, my partner and I were shocked that your shuttle driver allowed a MINOR to ride in the shuttle without a seat or seatbelt. This is a company that has no concern for safety protocols (or any protocols for that matter), no conflict resolution initiatives, abysmal customer service representation and they do not know how to follow simple procedures. If this is how they handle minor issues and complaints, I can't even begin to imagine how catastrophic it would be to have to deal with these people when major issues occur. Terrible. I changed my arrival date and gave 2 days notice in writing. My car was lost 40minutes as it was taken away from the original car site and the boss lady didnt mo where it was. First get told to find 2 other passengers for the shuttle. Then had to load our own bags onto the van...the guy then laughs and said if we know how to unload and load heavy bags. Arrive at park n fly to be told we had to go and get our own car on the other side of the parking lot...then to find that it has a Dead battery...so we then had to call for them to come and jump start it. Unbelievable and ridiculous service. This is what we come back too. When we parked the car on the 09/10/2023 the car was perfectly fine and they moved it to another spot. I usually use Aeropark who have always provided great service and on a recent trip to Christchurch, decided to try Park'n Fly - in short a disappointing experience, they are not only more expensive (due to their minimum fee to which they then add a daily rate) but their people do not know the value of good customer service. They have a functional approach, no idea of customer service and after researching recent reviews on this company, I am not likely to use their services again - in short, NOT recommended. While my car was parked in their care, my quality iphone charger disappeared and the radio volume was turned right up when I picked up my car. I am now horrified to read other customer experiences that include : "Man's BMW "thrashed" by Park'n Fly staff" - September 2017 NZ Herald "It's not the first time the company has come under fire for such incidents. In November 2015 two Park n' Fly employees were disqualified from driving after being caught by police racing two customers' cars. In another instance Neill Ellis, who left his car there while on a trip to Melbourne in 2014, posted a video on Facebook from his dash-cam showing the driver revving the engine, tooting, speeding through intersections and tailgating another car." And "Other complaints include excessive mileage, damage, theft and radios on full volume when customers had returned to their vehicles. "I have used Park n Fly a few times before and on one occasion was sure my coin holder was cleaned out, yet had no proof," said another post." Park'n Fly have also featured on consumer complaints TVNZ show FairGo. I have given this company my own fair go and will be voting with my feet and never returning again! Not recommended. read more

Google map this before you go, as it can be a bit tricky to find if you don't know your away around those streets near the airport, especially in the dark! This place is normally $6 a day for parking, and sometimes on special for $5. Though they always have a minimum charge (of $30 or $25 respectively) so factor this in, if you are only going away a couple of days. Don't get carried away and think it will only set you back $10 ! Park N Fly is a good name - you park up - pay, hand your keys over and then get in their next van to the airport terminal. Quick, painless and easy. read more

pro-tip: If a customer arrives back at the airport for pick-up and rings you after waiting for 30 minutes and has missed all of the shuttles coming and going based off of your earlier phone advice to "find the big JetStar sign and wait across the crossing from there".. It was probably misleading and you should **double-check their location thoroughly!** Then when said customer asks if (seeing as though it has now been 35 minutes and the 3rd call...) if perhaps the driver could just give a txt or call so we can locate each other and make sure I don't miss *yet another* shuttle back... you should probably take them up on it! (Apparently that was too much to ask... against protocol or whatever...)... Long Story short... The by-far biggest and most prominent "JetStar" symbol is in the wrong area... I also said that there are taxis and supershuttles all around and that's where I am (It was the wrong area but despite being at the 20 minute mark by then... was told "should be the right area..." and to keep waiting...)... If I didn't call a 4th time, I would have waited even longer than the 40 minutes that I eventually did!!! This is all not to mention the fact that on my departure flight, I nearly missed my flight because of waiting at the front counter for so long that the shuttle had to leave and wait for the next one... I was 10 minutes late for the 30-minute check-in time and so with some assistance from AirNZ was able to have my bags checked-in manually... You need far better instructions for where to go for pickup (especially when your reference landmarks are more prominent in the wrong area than the correct one!) and you need to take it seriously when someone has been waiting 30 minutes already and make damned sure that they are picked up by the next shuttle!!! (simple communication to the driver of an expected passenger with a name and cell number would be a fine solution (then the driver can make sure they pick up that person)... but apparently that's too much to ask...) We used these guys returning on the 25th October from Tonga. There was a very grumpy crowd of travellers waiting at gate 9 at the international airport for a Park n Fly shuttle when we arrived with some having waited an hour or more to get back to their cars. On calling when we landed I was told a van was on the way but it was still a 30 minute wait for us. Luckily it was sunny and our boys were able to run around. Everyone managed to cram into the van that arrived but it was a near thing. When we arrived back at the depot there were two vans, with drivers, standing around talking, in addition to the van we arrived on. Some more on the ball, customer focussed scheduling of these vans would be a requirement for us using this service again. read more

We have used this service several times. They offer really reasonable prices (please keep it that way!) compared to the other outdoor long term parking options at the airport. The service has been friendly enough, nothing exceptional, but the reliability and affordable service make us keep coming back. We have sat down and done the maths and leaving the car here to travel for a weekend or up to a week or so, actually works out cheaper than catching the buses and train home. Plus, obviously the convenience is SO much better when you have luggage. Now this is a bit embarrassing to admit, but we have got lost trying to find the place a few times, even after having been there before, so allow room for movement, don't rush the whole process. Also contact them before hand, don't just rock up and persume they will have a spot for you. read more

I will never use this parking company again. After waiting for 15 minutes in their car park before my departure flight my flight was closed when I arrived at the Airport. They are the only company that does not pick up as per your flight schedule, instead they wait for your call and you wait an additional 10 minutes for pick up after you clear bag pick up. The drivers are very unfriendly and don't even lift your bags for you. For a service provider they provide absolutely no service. DO NOT USE THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!! read more

Joe was worst manager ever. When we dropped off we made a mistake with the date, but noticed while paying... So offered to pay the correct amount, but they said "no worries" because it was only a few more hours... But on return Joe refused to release the car until we payed the amount we had tried to pay before we left. We had no NZ money available & he refused to believe our situation. 'Easy and reliable". Park 'n Fly is about 10 mins drive by their Shuttle to Domestic Terminal. Register your car details online on their website. Drive there [make sure you double check how to find place or Google Maps]. Pay upon arrival. Minimum fee applies so check if it will be cheaper with them or on the Airbus [if you live central]. They load up shuttles with people and drop off at Domestic Terminal first [and collect any arrivals at same time] and then drive to International Terminal [and collect any arrivals at same time]. But Take Note! On occassion I have had to sit in there departing shuttle in the depot while they wait to fill up the van with people [about 15 mins] - so dont think that as soon as you get to their depot they will leave [unless you are lucky and they have not more arrivals]. Also, twice now have had to wait the same time for collection. But if it is saving you $'s and you have factored in 'the time waiting' its a good service. read more

Was travelling away for 2 nights. Thought I'd try Park and Fly and have a super deluxe car groom. Overall a poor experience. Be aware that they charge a minimum price for short stays. In my rush i did not notice the $60 for 2 nights. My mistake. The $90 deluxe car groom was of a poor standard. The front window had not been cleaned inside or out. The promised shine inside was lacking albeit that they had undoubtedly damp dusted. The exterior wax and black walled tyres looked good. Then on return it took 30 mins to be picked up. No explanation or apologies for the wait. Needless to say... not recommended. read more

I have recently used Park and Fly . I was a little unsure when I dropped off my car so took note of the speedo. When I returned I drove to a Motel ( about 2 ks away ) and checked the Speedo, it had about 10 ks on it . I understand that they may need to move my car but 7 or 8 ks is stretching it a bit . (Golf GTI , I think someone may have been joy riding). I rang and asked if the Manager could ring me . . . . . . . still waiting . Park n Fly provide a fantastic service. You drive to their place not far from the airport. You check your car over with them and they take a note of any existing damage to the vehicle. They park it for you, put you in a mini bus with your bags etc and drive you to the gate you need to be at the airport. No walking or struggling with bags/kids. When you arrive back you go out the door at the airport, call Park n Fly and within minutes you are picked up in a Mini bus and driven back to where your car is. Simply great service. No hassels and cheap but excellent service. Highly recommended by us. read more

Abysmal service. 1 - I believe they siphoned fuel out of my tank (I took a photo of my mileage and fuel guage upon dropping off my car). My gas tank can only be opened with the car key. 2 - They kept me waiting for my car for half an hour when I went to pick it up (at the scheduled time). 3 - Every time you speak to an employee/manager they mumble and jog away into the carpark never to be seen again. 4 - They have signs up saying "no damage claims will be entertained unless you fill out a check-in form", yet they don't offer a check-in form unless you specifically ask for it. These guys seem to be shonky operators. There are plenty of other businesses in the area offering similar services at similar prices - I definitely won't be back to Parknfly. read more

I chose Park 'N Fly based purely on what seemed like 'value for money', I've used other similar companies before and have been happy with their service. I only found out from my father after I had booked that the company had recently had bad press in regards to alleged misuse of customers cars. I made a point of resetting the trip odometer on arriving at Park 'N Fly. After I came back the odo indicated that it had been driven some 4km, much further than from where I had left it and the place it was when I picked it up (less than 200 meters away). I would recommend that you steer clear of this place, it seems they are more than happy to use the cars for personal use. read more

When my parents went to pick up their car they were told they would require written confirmation from my partner that they could release the land cruiser - it was explained to them over and over again that the car belonged to the people standing in front of them and my partner did not have any connection to their car other than arriving at the same time. They then forced my parents and my ill Grandmother to stand outside in the car park while it was cold and windy for 2 hours until we finally managed to get an email through to them confirming they could release my parents car. My partner and I were at Cardrona ski mountain that day so had very little means of arranging the email. My parents offered to show them the registration documents which were in the car and would prove that the car belonged to themselves - they said they would not do that. They were rude, obnoxious and had no remorse what so ever - they seemed to be enjoying the frustration we were having with them. We cannot understand why all of this was necessary as when my partner and I arrived to collect our car 3 days later all they asked for was the rego number and then handed over the key. Further to this we hold evidence that our vehicle was driven 4km during the 8 days it was supposedly parked at the ParkNFly as well as dash cam videos with sound which you can hear the engine being worked excessively - this G sensor camera is a pre collision camera and will only automatically turn on upon excessive breaking or acceleration. This proves our car was taken for a JOY RIDE. We also now have two very noticeable scratches on our bonnet which were not there before - we know this as it is an extremely tidy and new car which we purchased very recently. Please DO NOT use these people, they are an excuse for a business and should not be given your hard earned money. read more

We are very disappointed with the service from Park N Fly. When we first arrived we had to pay for our parking and then wait for the shuttle to take us to the airport, it took us over 20 mins before we arrived at the airport, they should have an option to pay online. On our return back to Auckland airport we called to tell them that we were ready to be picked up, the man on the phone had poor english, and after 20 mins of waiting we called again to see when they were coming. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting they turned up, there was no explanation or apology given, and when I asked the diver why they took 30 minutes to pick us up he said "you haven't been waiting 30 minutes", basically calling me a liar. We will not be using this company again and since using them I have heard of other people with similar experiences. read more

I would be very wary about using park n fly for your trip. My car was not in the same condition as when I left it and I think they had been driving my car for their own purposes. For instance, why would my car heater have been turned up from setting 24, to 31? And why would my radio station have been changed? And why would my specially fitted driver seat (supplied by ACC for my neck problems) have been tampered with? If they were just parking my car, there would be no need to tamper with the aforementioned settings. I strongly recommend anyone using this company takes an odometer reading when dropping their car and photograph the petrol gauge. Also, categorically tell them they do NOT have permission to drive your vehicle (apart from parking it) whilst you are away. They need to be held accountable for this ie: charged with "unlawfully taking motor vehicles". If you read through reviews, many customers have complained of similar experiences. BEWARE..... Don't know what the fuss was all about. I have used them every time. Very Convenient, Cost effective and Wait at the airport is reasonable. Never have I seen them say...sorry can't accommodate you....but there is a shuttle right after shortly which I have heard other vendors do. Giving the car keys was fine. Car was returned in the way I dropped it off. Recent experience between 12-19 July 2016. While returning, there were quite a few flights and a rush of passengers. While I was accommodated on the Airport pickup Van and lots of luggage, I overlooked a free bag and 3 black label bottles that I received with them from Duty Free which I left in the Van by mistake. In the early hours of the morning I took the rest of my luggage and rushed back home to Hamilton. When I settled down I realised that I missed a bag. I called them up immediately saying that I left my luggage there. They understood the exact situation of when and where my luggage was left, took my name and phone number and said that they would give me a call if they found it....having little hope I said...thank you. Shortly after that I received a call to further identify what kind of baggage it was colour, make model, whether it has a lock on it. I was asked if there was any other baggage left for which I confirmed no. Since they confirmed that there was only one piece of baggage found, I gave them permission to open the baggage and confirmed the contents of the baggage. They were happy for me to come and pick it up (despite their agreement of indemnification), by showing my drivers license, the vehicle that I dropped off and the receipt for the bottles from Duty Free. A total value of $200 minimum. I thanked them and offered to pay for their lunch in their effort to find and retain my luggage, the politely refused the offer and said that they would be happy to see me as a returning customer. Not a lot of people remember the good ones, but always remember and take the time to comment about their bad experiences. I guess this one is an exception. Thanks again, Cheers. read more

Decided to give this outfit a go after hearing it was good value for money. BIG mistake! Sure, it's only $5.00 a day (minimum cost of $35), but alarm bells started ringing from the moment we entered. Crappy, dilapidated porta-com buildings; people rushing around directing traffic, and the fact you have to leave them your car keys (which did not sit well). On our return we rang and advised that we were ready for pickup (a party of 3 and a baby), and joined the queue. 10 minutes later the 1st courtesy shuttle appeared with only a couple of seats available (as they pass by international terminal before domestic). OK, wait for the next one. Another 15 minutes pass by. Next shuttle also close to capacity! 15 min later we finally get a seat on the shuttle. Total wait time around 45 minutes which is a bloody disgrace! This company are clearly in it for the $$, and we will NEVER be using this company again. We would rather pay extra at another operator than have to experience this level of ineptitude and disorganisation again. read more
