I can't tell you anything about the inside of the establishment but I what I can tell you is that this one place has a bunch of heart based on the food! The catfish was phenomenal and fresh, the beans had a ton of flavor and chunks of turkey neck inside of it, I could tell the Cole slaw and tartar sauce was made in house but if it is not I need a container of each asap, I also can't forget about the hush puppies, most of the time I look over them but given everything else I couldn't miss out and they did not disappoint crunchy and flakey on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. We also got the "bobcat egg" chicken stuffed with jalapeños, cream cheese wrapped in bacon .. it was AMAZING!! They also had chicken on a stick wrapped in bacon and it was nothing short of everything else!! When I tell you I couldn't write this review quick enough I mean I am still licking the flavor off my teeth it was sensational!! You will not be disappointed i promise!! I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

My absolute favorite thing in the store was the selection of hats -- especially the hilarious animal hats with ears that pop up and down when you squeeze the dangling paws. They were adorable little girls hats. I was thankful for my great-nephews because if I had great-nieces, we would have spent way more money in this store than intended LOL. Beyond the hats, they had a little bit of everything: old-school candy, toys, snacks, sandwiches, souvenirs, and Blue Bell Ice Cream.
