Store owner went above and beyond to go through their collections to find exactly we were looking for. This made our day! During the checkout, we noticed a big bumble bee and Bernie Saunder's crochet displayed (not for sale) by the counter, and the store owners told us that the local lady made those crochets for them. We couldn't get over how cute and well-made they were, then the store owners even offered to contact her for us! This was our first time visiting this store, and we will be returning every time we travel to Chincoteague!

Hal, now 93 and Claire, 86 show little signs of slowing down. If you have ever seen a "poster" of the Annual Assateague/ Chincoteague Pony Swim, then you know Hal's work. Since 1982 he has been producing limited edition paintings and prints come in mini, midi and large are sold in the shop.
