Flying Flags is such a unique, fun place! We've been coming here for about ten years now, and each visit I see more improvements. We've used RV spots, the cabins, the vintage trailers, and most recently the Tiki tent. The pools, restrooms and common areas are always clean and well-kept, the staff are a delight, and and I enjoy watching all the kids have fun and make memories.

(+) Memorable glamping experience. Great for large groups to reserve neighboring spots and hang out. RV spots, cabins, air streams, different options to book here. We had a total of 12 in our party and shared 2 cabins and an RV between us and they were all near each other which was convenient. (+) Wine cabin was like a tiny home. Fun 2nd floor loft and we liked the barn doors that slid side to side. Small but decent kitchen, had the necessities. Best feature was the fire pit in the small backyard. And since we had some of us in the cabin next door it was nice to just walk across in the openings since it's not fully fenced and separated. (+) Kid friendly. We enjoyed the pool / jacuzzi / splash pad a few times. Dog friendly, took my dog on many walks and visited the dog park. Fun riding bikes around, playing basketball or soccer at the pavilion, tossing around a football. Also good spots for family photoshoot... my mother-in-law hired a professional photographer and we got some amazing pictures taken. (+) Restaurant onsite, limited hours but decent menu. Fire pits on the patio and live music certain nights. Hard to hear when your number is called when the band is playing so just check with the chef outside if you think your food should be ready. (+) Their store by registration has plenty of snacks and drinks. Also, free coffee in the lobby and it's pretty good coffee!

This might be one of the best RV Resorts! There truly is something for everyone and even locals seem to come to get wine, pizza and ice cream at the front outdoor restaurant bar. We enjoyed the gorgeous yurt and camp sites and there is also the ever famous Sideways wine bar in the back, pools with cabanas and This was our first time in the area and we really loved exploring the towns nearby and returning back to the camp site where we can have pizza, enjoy nice walks with the dogs, spending time by the fire or drawing on the sidewalks with chalk, lounging poolside and even enjoying some fancy desserts at the dessert food truck. We even got a ride in an electric Moke mobile! Definitely loved Flying Flags and look forward to enjoying this all inclusive gem dog friendly RV Resort where everyone is friendly and nice.

Santa Ynez Guest Ranch - Ranch Loft: Thoroughbred (701) - my type of camping: Glamping!

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in Buellton, CA exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to be back! From the moment our party arrived to Flyjng Flags, the staff welcomed us and treated us with kindness and respect. They were genuinely friendly people and I can tell they really care about making sure guests enjoy their stay while providing a clean and safe environment. The RV resort has different sections for all styles of camping, whether it's your own personal trailer, in a Jupe tent, tiki tent, vintage trailer, wine cottage, or brew haus cottage. We stayed in the private ranch area - the Santa Ynez Ranch Cottages and I loved the privacy. I loved that it was a cottage and really embodied the term 'glamping' - definitely my kind of camping. LOL The cottage itself had a private driveway to park our vehicle, a front porch with included a table and oscillating fan, an entryway patio with grill and patio furniture, a bedroom, a kids loft, a smallish full kitchen, and a little family room. It almost felt like a bed and breakfast! The bathroom was nice and clean too. We stayed in 701. The ranch area had its own private pool for the community too. My sister and her family all stayed in one of the four Brew Haus Cottages. Their cottage looked similar to ours but had smaller/cheaper furniture inside than what we had. However, they had a huge front patio and an outdoor fireplace. They stayed in Brew Haus 3. And we loved the shade from their tree. Quiet hours were between 10pm and 8am, and seemed to be followed by everyone on the premise. It was nice to see the employees making rounds throughout the RV resort and campground. It is definitely not a hotel stay because there were bugs inside and, because I knew we were "camping", I was okay with the bugs (we saw 3 spiders in our cottage). Overall, I have more wonderful things to say about this place but I'll leave that for you to experience. I've raved about it to family and friends and can't wait to be back again. Other notable things: - Minutes away from Solvang and Ostrichland - Starbucks, Albertson's, CVS, and Anderson's Pea Soup just around the corner from Flying Flags - They sell food and other basic pantry items, including souvenirs, ice, wood, etc. - There's a dog park, and playground, soccer field, basketball court, etc. - Be sure to pay attention to signs and speed limit, as there are lots of kids running around and on their bikes or scooters. - Their site map is very helpful! - Remember to leave a tip if you feel the staff have earned it :)

Amazing getaway far enough from home to not run into anyone but close enough to stay longer! Had an amazing time here with family and friends the staff is friendly and welcoming no issues at all so peaceful a respectful environment! So many activities for the kids aswell as adults! I suggest checking the weather for your stay so u can pack accordingly i forgot my pants ended ip freezing my little legs at night!

    "Internet"

We're here now and all I can say is we're glad we are leaving tomorrow. FYI- their "internet" only supports "basic browsing only." We have not been able to connect at all and unfortunately cell service isn't great. Really wish they would have said this anywhere on their website or at booking instead of advertising their WiFi. Also they advertise "free cable." You have to bring a long chord to connect, again something we would have loved to know prior. We thought it was through their internet. Unfortunately due to how loud it is, we have to play music or a movie for our dogs if we are not in the rv and unfortunately cannot. We weren't even able to order an uber to go to Solvang due to how bad their internet and the reception is here. Shame we had such high expectations, back to staying at KOA's! They're phenomenal and never have any issues, if you do, they comp you and go out of their way to address.

Professional, kind. We originally planned 4 nights but Pam at Flyingflags scored us spot 5. The entire stay we felt safe, it's extremely clean. The employees are fast at cleaning up at after people depart. They even pickup your trash. That's an extra perk. We have nothing ad to say. We'll be back. It was so special to us.

So our light is bright but the campground light is as bright as what we had! Ridiculous and waste of money smh

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. This was by far the worst camping experience we've ever had. Between 8am - 10pm (not quiet hours) we received continuous complaints saying guests had reported us for noise. Yet staff admitted they couldn't even hear our music or voices when they drove by. When I responded to Ivy's text about our experience, I rated it "00" because it was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Later, Jennifer called to follow up, and things only got worse. She told us our music and voices shouldn't be louder than "three campsites down." When I explained we weren't loud, she had no answer. At this point, we genuinely felt targeted. I asked Jennifer a simple question: If a family brings a child on the spectrum who might cry or make noise, would that be an issue here? She said yes, it has been an issue. That was shocking to hear. It's extremely disappointing that this campground seems to discriminate against children with special needs. That speaks volumes. We came here to enjoy Veterans Day weekend and ended up feeling hurt, frustrated, and completely unwelcome. Jennifer kept talking over me while asking me to explain my side; it was exhausting and disrespectful. We will never be back and will not recommend this place to anyone. We camp all over California, and this was, without a doubt, the worst experience we've ever had. It's currently 10:19pm and got a compliant that our lights is too bright? So we're not too noisy now?Well.. apparently since we're not loud but the lights is lighting? Oh my goodness....... This is ridiculous! H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!!

This was our first time here and it was very busy as the Wine and Chili cook off was happening during the time we were there. There is a lot to offer at this RV resort. There is a kids' playground, pool with kid water area, plus an additional pool and hot tub, bocce ball area, basketball court, walking / bike trail nearby, and we believe a golf course is close as well. The gift shop/grocery store is not that big but has the necessary items. There are 2 eating establishments - one on-site up front, which has great food, and the other one is next door at the hotel. The eating establishment on-site had an area outside to eat with a gas fireplace and a musician in the evening hours. For anyone that wants a party there, there seems to be a section that is specially for large parties (weddings, birthdays, etc.) that is private and a little bit secluded. That is nice to have when you want all your guests to stay nearby without having to be near everyone else and make it more memorable. There are a lot of different areas to stay if you don't have an RV or bus. There are a lot of tents and smaller cabins, and larger ones. One area that has smaller tents has a couple of solar panels set up next to them. There is a safari cabin area and also larger modular type cabins are available. For RV's, there is a propane filling station to refill your propane tanks. As well as a dumo station. Those are 2 things that you don't see too often and are nice to have close by. There shouldn't be any reason that family and friends couldn't join you on a wonderful weekend at this resort & campground. A lot of memories are to be made during your time here!

They were friendly, diligent, and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. They were actually helpful in many other ways as they had to show us where the manager's room was located - as there were no signs. It was the room with McDonald's trash waiting to be carried out. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, the manager told us we had to wait for him to "clock back in from lunch" before he could help us. After the wait, he walked us to our room, and we were surprised by how incredibly small it was. There was barely enough space for two people to move around the bed, and one person had to step aside just so the other could get into the bathroom. There wasn't even a small table or desk, so I had nowhere to work or even sit comfortably to enjoy a cup of coffee. Booking was also frustrating. I called the hotel directly to ask about my employer discount, but the person who answered wasn't very helpful and told me I had to book through a specific website. We did, but nowhere on that site did it accurately convey just how tiny the room would be. Had we known, we would have stayed elsewhere, since I was there for work. The excellent housekeeping staff is the reason I'm giving more than one star. First: If you are a tenant and have to work with RPL (as it's the property owner's choice) DO NOT…read moreLET THEM DRAFT YOUR ACCOUNT! Their accounting department is negligent and drafted our account for rent TWO MONTHS after we'd vacated the property. When I called to tell her (Shannon) that she'd overdrafted my account AGAIN she was very blasé about it saying it was "just a mistake" and that it was "unacceptable" that I was upset about it. Having lived in the Santa Ynez Valley for two years, I'm well aware of the fact that it's a small place and you don't have a lot of options when it comes to certain business services. As a result, you sometimes will find yourself having to work with Service providers that may not provide a level of service you expect or hope for. Having said that, I still find myself surprised that RPL property Management is still in business. From their accounting to their property managers, they are something very short of professional and are definitely not what I would consider to be responsible custodians for the properties they manage. We rented a home that was managed by Sylvia at RPL. We hadn't rented in a long time but we treated that property as our own - doing a lot of repairs and small fixes ourselves. However, when something would come up that was beyond our scope as tenants, we would reach out to Sylvia and our calls and/or emails would go unresponded to for a full day and sometimes two- leading us to sometimes reach out to the property owner directly- particularly when it was something that could negatively affect the house. At that point one has to wonder: what exactly is the service the property manager is paying for? There is a lot more to our negative experience with RPL but I'll leave it there as the Yelp format lends itself better to brevity but I'll wrap up with this: you are better off using a company out of Lompoc, Santa Maria or Goleta than resorting to RPL to manage your property. I've been in real estate for 6 years and both manage my own property and have hired property managers and I have never seen a company as unprofessional in this field as RPL.

Skyline Property Management: Six Stars - They Deliver!…read more Several years ago, as neophytes to being 'landlords', we took the recommendation of a real estate agent/friend and hired Skyline. Robert & Christy walked us through what we needed to do to prepare our rental, advised us on pricing, advertised and screened applicants for us, negotiated the rental contract and then managed the property once tenants were 'in'. They were professional, thorough and made the entire process EASY! Recently we have also seen Skyline in action from the renter's perspective when our son contacted them about an apartment they were managing. Again, Skyline's Robert & Christy were the consummate professionals. They put my son at ease and were straightforward about the process, the documents they needed, and their expectations once my son qualified for the rental. They have been quick to respond to needed repairs and are always available to answer questions. They are compassionate people who really enjoy their work! I recommend Skyline Property Management to landlords and renters. They are the real deal!

She was very helpful. The room was comfy. The hotel was quaint. I did appreciate that they sent a little text inviting you to have a free glass of wine with others there. It's walking distance to everything. They give you a list of recommendations although it seems they've had some changes recently, so they're not all open. Had my services animals with me. In the back of the building there are some places for relief. Not a lot of grass in town in general. Walks were very thin, but the town kind of shuts down around 7pm so it was pretty quiet. My neighbor was snoring loudly so I heard him. Would def stay here again.

But the thing that ruined it for me was that you could hear every thing happing in the building in the room. So there was little rest and Less relaxation. I thought that if would calm down as it got later but no. The people above must have been chasing a child around all night. As for the breakfast I would just drop it all together. I have stayed at many mediocre hotels that do breakfast so much better. Overall not the worst stay ever but was very disappointing. Don't know if I was stay again.
