The gas price is cheaper than its competitor which is nice and it doesn't do that "cash price" "credit price" garbage either. I hate that! One price for gas and that's it. This store is super clean and they have their deli area up and running super early. My absolute favorite thing is the hatch chili sausage kolache. It's sooooooo good and always hot and freshly made. I also like their hand dipped peppermint snaps. They have little pieces of peppermint candy and white chocolate, They're perfect. I did not like the whoopie pie with peppermint, though. Definitely pass on those. Another reason I love this place is because of coffee! They have dark roast, house blend, pecan blend! And decaf, I don't even know why decaf exists, but they have it just in case people actually drink it. They also have cappuccino machines which Mexican hot chocolate, which is my favorite! They have a ton of flavorings as well, like half and half, vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, oh and they come in the sugar free variety too.

Then I asked to speak with the corporate manager and the shift manager there lied and told me he was the corporate manager which I know is another lie because the corporate manager wouldn't be working at the gas station. Anyways, I went to the Shell right down the street and they accepted my cash and I was able to pump gas there. If corporate gets a chance to see this, train your employees to not be so ignorant. I will never pump at Chevron again. I will be pumping my gas at Shell from now on.

I think the other patrons agree because I'm always stared at continuously as if they're all wondering what this white girl is doing on this side of 288. In all honesty I have only fueled up and/or used the store twice because I'm always made to feel like I'm trespassing. What I use this location for is my backup RedBox location for when the Walgreens on Almeda is out of what I'm looking to rent. Other than the local flavor this is pretty much a run of the mill gas station.

We sometimes get gas here in the middle of the night after cruising up and down Washington before we head into midtown. Friday and Saturday nights. Bet you can't imagine why.
