During my inspection, the manager, Dustyn Cook, claimed my brakes were out of adjustment and gave me two options: pay $21 an axle to have them adjusted on the spot or return to the mechanic who installed them. I chose to go back to my mechanic, who confirmed the brakes were already properly adjusted. To prove it, he accompanied me back to the Love's location and measured the brakes in front of Dustyn Cook. Only then did Dustyn admit, "Oh, they are at the right adjustment." This experience felt discriminatory and unprofessional. Love's should consider hiring staff who treat all customers fairly and respectfully, rather than driving them away.

The store employees are very friendly even though it is not in the best part of town and is very busy most of the time. They have a good selection of snacks, sodas and beer. I know when Frito lay releases a new flavor of chips this store always has them first. The one downfall is their lack of a good selection of energy drinks. They have hot dogs and nachos but I have not tried them. The store is closed late at night but you can still get gas if you pay at the pump.
