Recent roadtrip to Calgary, Alberta Canada, I stopped here twice to fill up. Went in to use restroom and grab some snacks. Very welcoming and clean. I then decided to just stay for the night. It was late and I was tired. Not once did I feel unsafe. It was well lit and quiet. There was a great deal of truckers nearby who settled in for the night also. Next morning I awakened to a beautiful sunrise. Then proceeded inside to grabbed some delicious hot coffee and a banana. The associate was so pleasant and friendly. This set me up to tackle my next stretch in Big Sky Montana. Needless to say on my return, I made it my mission to stop again at this Flying J in Beach, ND. read more

As someone who travels cross country very frequently, I often see these gas station convenience stores... Well, it's more than a convenience store. It's actually like a truck stop. Because they have showers and all kinds of other things for truckers. Plenty of gas pumps and a good amount of diesel. Pumps, inside the place is neat and clean and again people always out on the floor restocking and refacing counters and shelves. The restrooms were clean, and easy to find. Plus they have just about everything you could want, including lots of different hot food items. Bottom line? If you're in need of some gas and a little bit of refreshment you could do way worse than stopping here. I would recommend checking them out if you're in between destinations. read more

Absolutely nothing out for food along with half of the drink dispensers out of order. This is the worst flying j I've ever been to.

Flying J came through in rough weather. Freezing rain and wind ripped through the area, but everything was up and running, including the gas pumps, which were coated in some nasty ice. The gas itself was a good price. The shop inside is large, as is the attached Subway restaurant. Snow brush and ice scraper? Check. Touristy key chain? Check. Gatorade? Check. Friendly people are willing to ring up your order. Bathrooms were good, clean and big, and I would appreciate those showers if I were a trucker. I don't think I've reviewed a gas station on Yelp yet, but Flying J was a good experience! read more

Went into to grab some food was about to adjust my car so I could fill my tank when the rude cashier made announcement over the intercom to move my vehicle I was about fill my tank there where plenty of open spots she gave me an rude treatment when I paid for my food as well if she doesn't like her job maybe she should find another one !definitely will get gas across the street at least they have good customer service this rude older lady seem like she should find another job definitely not a customer service job read more

This operation failed me. Yeah, they had 34 gallons of gasoline ... but: - Unable to clean 600 miles of bugs from the windshield because every water tub in the pump area was empty. Bone dry, empty. All of them. - Men's room. No soap. Paper towel dispensers were empty. - Coffee station. Not enough decaf available to fill a medium size cup. read more

They have a nice drivers lounge and lots of souvineers for tourists. I always get my coffee and gas here it's always competitive. The staff is nice and the restrooms clean. Nice place to stop read more

Advertised water and dump but thought to check before filling tank as they said they didn't have water for some reason and dump was broken for months. Lucky that across the way Cenex had just water so we spend our 178.43 in gas there and got some potable water read more

Walked in and there was only 1 customer getting waited on at the register. I stood in front of the food items and the young boy behind the counter actually stood right on the other side getting food for the guy at the register. He made eye contact with me and said he would be right with me. In the mean time other customers came in and when and stood in line. After he bags up the guys food he rings him up and the guy leaves. He then proceeds to help every other person in line while occasionally looking over at me. I yelled "HEY". While this was going o , the other 2 employees were standing huddled up over by the hot dogs munching on chips talking about their weekend. I know this because I walked by and went into the subway shop. Which was awesome. It was under staffed but the guy was courteous, quick, and efficient. As I was leaving the young boy behind the food area near the register was struggling to keep up and the other 2 employees were still off by themselves talking. Coffee tasted okay, but this place needs attention. Can't clean windshields because everything is empty and broken. Gas in cheaper in Montana, just a couple miles west. read more

It's a Flying J travel center, they have most everything, this one me have the upgraded showers and bathrooms as most do now, staff is friendly, fresh coffee, has both fuel for truckers and gasoline for cars, what more can I say. read more
