I stopped in to buy gas for my car on May 29, 2026. I inserted my credit card into a pump out front facing Route 77. The screen went blank. I could not do anything so I cancelled the transaction. Later my bank caught a fraudulent transaction for over $200 from Pilot, the company that owns Flying J Travel Center. It was voided and my card was destroyed by my bank. Do not use this station. Its gas pumps are compromised. I reported this to the station today but they did not seem to care. read more

I don't have much experience with Flying J, but if I'm around the Pembroke area I know I'm in trouble. Ask me why, and the answer is a corn dog:). Flying J deflowered me by offering my first ever corn dog. I tried it and loved it. The quality is consistent, too. With just the perfect amount of dough and a surprisingly decent sized, not horrible tasting hot dog, it's a fun snack. Since that first time, I had two more sausages on a stick from the same location. They sell corn dogs packed in pairs, so it's great for sharing. You won't find them at the front where all food is available. The hot dogs and sausages station is located at the back. Condiments are also available on the way back to the cashiers. I used mustard. The service is always nice and efficient. read more

This review is specifically for the Southern Tire Mart at this travel center. I was driving from Buffalo, NY home to PA and early into the trip I felt like my whole car was shaking. I was super concerned and especially as a woman was nervous to stop and potentially need car repair help (worried I'd get overcharged, they'd underestimate me). My experience was everything I could have hoped for. Ended up just needing to blow the snow out of my treads and defrost my car for a bit in the garage, but they didn't charge me, the team made me feel heard, and Dustin Gano was incredibly kind, calming and helpful. Made the rest of my trip smooth and was so so grateful for them! read more

Honestly as Travel centers\ Truck stops go this location has the amenities, quality, location and services to make it top on your list of travel plans regardless if your behind the wheel of a big rig, motor home or a mini van this place is definitely a GREAT choice. The actual convenience store is filthy, counters for coffee had garbage all over it. Restrooms were in serious need of cleaning. Boyfriend and I were starving, went to Denny. Worst food ever, everything ice cold. These two businesses should be ashamed. Will never step foot in either one again. read more

This is a good truck stop. Service in Denny's is very slow. They seem way under staffed. Dishes not cleared from the counter, spilled on the floor and all of the staff just walking around it. I waited quite a while at the cash register to pay. I could have left without paying and no one would have noticed. I have been here repeatedly and service is usually quite slow. Parking; Every time I come there are small cars parked in the long RV/Bus spots, while there are plenty of car spots nearby. While I was there several pulling trailers got gas and left since there was nowhere for them to park. One motorhome parked in the driving lane. This has been going on for years and has only gotten worse. They need to regularly announce for cars to be moved from the long parking spot as they do for drivers to pull forward after fueling. read more

Employees are semi friendly here in my experiences. This location has a Denny's. Typical food, and service for a chain diner. The gas bar is quite spacious. A dump station is available for a motor home if needed, for a fee. Flying J is usually friendly towards RVers. This location does not have designated parking for RVers from what I have seen. Most park on the lot near the enterance to the Denny's. Restrooms are pretty clean, seem somewhat modernized. Decent sized store inside. Prices are pretty typical for a truck stop. read more

I love Flying J! I always stop here for gas when I'm in the area (great prices) and the food is delicious. Some of my favorite things to eat from here are: breakfast burritos (delish!), corn dogs, cheeseburgers. When I'm not too worried about eating healthy, I will definitely get the food at the counter. I'm not really sure why, but we have been stopping here for the last 15 years on our way from Connecticut to Toronto. I've always had a good experience here for a quick bathroom stop. The gas is always less expensive here than on the turnpike. I'll usually get some coffee here on the way out which is pretty good. Standard Flying J. Nice looking hot food bar and the employees are quick to announce when the pizza is fresh out of the oven. Seems to stay pretty busy, but then again, truckers don't have very many options in New York for fuel. The downside is that there's no fast food in this one, just a Denny's. I've seen my fair share of less than accommodating truck stops with rude staff and overbearing and pressuring fellow truckers that try to slip you the "skinner" in the showers. That was pretty much what I was assuming I'd find when I arrived. I stand corrected. This fine establishment was far more than what I was expecting when I pulled my rig off the free way. To say that this place is idyllic would be a vast understatement. Let me just take a moment here to set the mood for you, to really engross you in the whole Flying J Travel Plaza experience. I arrived on a brisk summer evening, a light wind just rustling the jimmies real fine, like a tender kiss from Mother Nature. The sun was dropping below the horizon, painting a lovely orange and pinkish hue upon the canvas of the sky. Camera cuts to me, in my brand new International Lonestar semi; of course painted in a beautiful red, white, and blue pattern, with a screaming eagle down the middle because F*** YEAH America! Now me, I'm sporting my usual cut off denim shorts, my 8" black steal toes, and a plaid button up. Some might not want to call it this, but in my industry, I looked class as f***. So now that you've got yourself a real Bob Ross like rendition of what's going on, let's hear about what was really go on. Firstly, they had a Denny's. A motherf****** Denny's! We're talking real food here people, not just some microwaved 3 week old sorry excuse for an omelette. You can't imagine how nice it is to get a nice sit down meal after being on your rig for a long haul of 10 hours. Secondly, they had a massive travel plaza. I ain't never seen nothing like this in all of my travels, and I've seen a horse driving truck down the I-95 in hail storm, I s*** you not son. This store had anything you could ever imagine needing, and then some. All the latest and greatest gadgets and gizmos for your truck and personal needs. Snacks and snacks and snacks for the snacks. And the pizza....mmm mmm MMM! That pizza! I had to order me 2 boxes before I left. Last but not least, and this is every truckers favourite part, they had some first class facilities. I mean they had pristine lazy boys set up with NASCAR playing on a big screen. They had coin operated laundry machines. And the showers, those were the best part. Nothing like taking a nice warm shower after a full day on the road. Complimentary towels with what I'm guessing was at least a 500 thread count. I honestly felt like I was drying off with a cloud. Immaculately clean showers. Friendly atmosphere inside the showers reminded me of an old football locker room. None of that pushy s*** I might see at a Husky with guys wanting to let off some steam after a long haul if you know what I mean. I personally used stall 4, so I'd recommend that one, and it comes with a little surprise that is not too hard to find (Just follow the rabbit hole...but here's a tip, it ain't no rabbit hole). Looking back on the whole experience, it's almost as though this whole moment came to me in a dream....a wonderful, beautiful dream, with rainbows, butteflies, and happy little birds tweeting songs of love and kindness. If you believe in a world of happiness and love, look no further than The Flying J Travel Plaza in Corfu, NY. P.S. My only suggestion - and keep in mind, this is just me, Broan Zimmerman talking - is that you expand your clothing section to include more attire with wolves, eagles, and patriotic symbols on them. I don't know about you, but I love nothing more than sporting a sleeveless denim vest with a soaring Bald Eagle on it that just screams American pride.
