This is a gas station that really is the only one around for some area -…read more Up Main towards UB South Campus you have one on Winspear, towards downtown you have to go past West Ferry, or at Amherst & Delaware, or somewhere on Bailey the other way. So, if you are right around Main & Amherst, its pretty much the only one. As a result they can have prices slightly higher than those others, which are close to other stations so have more competition etc.

But in any case,…read morethis gas station is conveniently placed on that long, comparatively barren strip of Grover Cleveland (which becomes Millersport a little further north), and has lower-than-average gas prices. It's close to Crystal (one of the best authentic Chinese spots in WNY), and it's on the North side of the street. It closes down at night, so if it's 3am, plan to go elsewhere, such as one of the several 24hr spots along Sheridan. And if you want to Citgo, then yes they do have a bathroom.

This clean, well-lit…read morespot on Millersport is at the "Hexagonal" intersection halfway from UB South Campus to Sheridan Dr. I call it the "Hex" because a lot of witches live at this intersection. It's a perfectly decent gas station with average prices, I haven't seen any awesome discounts here, but I haven't seen it higher than elsewhere either. The cops often wait at this intersection or nearby to get people for doing 45+ in a 35, mainly students since this area is packed with student housing, so be really careful. As an aside, I'm not sure what sort of sport you would do while drinking Miller Lite, but whatever it would be, would be a MillerSport.

I've probably only been there once this year, though, and that's because the gas prices here are just too high for me. Delta Sonic and a few random Mobils and Sunocos are usually a good few cents cheaper, and don't get me started on the Indian Reservations in Akron, Sanborn, and Irving. There's a Gulf in class between some gas stations, and this has become one I usually don't frequent anymore.

Things are quite pricey & not a large selection of pre-made food. There is a LARGE selection of lottery tickets though, so if you're an instant scratch off lottery ticket addict, come to this store. They have a lot to choose from. The man who's usually in there is great. He's so nice & always jokes around.' The woman today, I've never seen her before. She was nice & suggested a lottery ticket to me , so I took it. (Well, I bought it, lol) I hope my mom wins big !! I like the store, it's clean, no clutter !!!!

With financing secured and a deposit placed on the vehicle we planned to purchase, we headed to the "new" Mini of Buffalo (West Herr BMW) to have our trade appraised with high hopes that this purchase would be as smooth as the previous two. We left disappointed. The original trade-in offer they made us -- at roughly $7,000 below what other dealerships had already offered -- was insulting. We sat for over an hour and a half while they crunched numbers. After that time, a second offer came back, following a somewhat condescending explanation of how the market works that we did not need. Still below what we were being offered other places. We were a "no." Feeling insulted and frustrated at the time we wasted (we both took time off from work to make the appointment), we made the tough decision to move on. We asked for our deposit back and were taken to cashier. She literally told us, and the sales manager we had been working with, that we would have to wait while she finished something else. Not a "hello." Not "how are you doing today?" Just a "I have to do this first" with a shush finger in the air. So, we were left waiting again. After about 15 minutes, she tells us that there's nothing she can do. It would have to wait until the next day. We still have not heard back on getting the deposit. The experience at Mini of Buffalo was awful. That said, our sales manager is someone we have worked with in the past. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Mini brand is unmatched. He seemed as disappointed as we were. And, frankly, he deserves far better. The Mini brand deserves far better.

I can't say enough good things about the team at Towne MINI…read more I was not in the market for a car but I found one on their lot just driving by and 3 days later, it was mine. The sales team is friendly without being overbearing and they aren't the least bit pushy. I didn't feel like I was cornered into agreeing to terms that didn't work for me and they were honest about their pricing, which was great. I never thought I'd be a "MINIac", but here I am, sucked into the culture and happily. Getting my MINI through Towne has been a real treat and has allowed me to meet some new and wonderful friends who are just as enthusiastic about their car. Towne supports the group with events throughout WNY (picnics, rallys, Christmas parties, and a lot of philanthropy as well). If you're interested in a MINI, go see the team at Towne.

However this NOCO is literally right next to my Gym so I do end up here sometimes. I found out recently that they have Wifi (yay), and they also have fairly friendly employees, and what's more, they have some of the drinks that I used to not be able to find anywhere (such as Upstate Farms Lemon Iced Tea), but I stopped drinking that a long time ago because it makes my tummy grow like a balloon, or a condom filled with water. What do you mean, you've never done that? It loses 1 point for being a little overpriced and loses 1 point for being way too busy... it's a zoo at the best of times on the best of days. But it's an excellent and modern and clean and well-stocked gas station that even has a Tim Hortons inside, I think.

I hate pumping gas…read more I push the limits of that gas indicator light on my car and often have all my indicators tell me that I have zero fuel in my car, yet I've been lucky enough to not run out....yet. *crosses fingers* I try to avoid pumping gas here at all costs, as it's generally at least 20-30 cents/gallon more than regular market prices at any time. I DO like that they brew Green Mountain Coffee and although oftentimes their brew doesn't taste as nice as it could (burnt, not freshly ground, etc), it's a nice place to stop in for a pretty decent cup of coffee that's less expensive than your local coffee shop. ...and of course on those days that you need that comfort Ben & Jerry's ice cream - it's here for you too.

It's right near where my friend works, right by Wegmans, and right near my gym so I've probably filled up here 8 to 10 times in the last 3 or 4 years alone. But honestly I'm not a big fan of it because of the prices. However the memories mean I'll give it a 3. A girl once gave me a full tank of gas here which I appreciated, as a donation to my tour. I was just here the other day actually. Still has mediocre-to-high prices, still clean and fresh and new and easy to use right on the corner. This is a pretty good gas station with average-ish prices, sometimes slightly higher than normal. I like that it is always open. I have good memories of this place because a good friend once filled up my tank here. I'm being literal, not dirty.

The TA truck stop on Rt 77 was just the place. It wasn't overly busy, I was seated in a timely manner. The name of the restaurant at this truck stop is Country Pride. I ordered the Hand-breaded buttermilk chicken, deep fried and crispy, with bacon, pepper jack cheese and savory pepper sauce, and ohhhh myyyyy stars! It was fabulous! Instead of french fries, I opted to have the tater tots... THESE WERE THE BEST ! Not only were the crispy and crunchy, you could tell they were deep fried in CLEAN oil. I was impressed!! I just might go back and get a double order by themselves, hahaha! The waitress was friendly and the prices are decent and affordable.

So cash is king here. It's not open all night despite the sign that implies it is. But that's ok. It's open and occasionally has better pricing than Delta Sonic. Convenient location but also located on a busy corner. Prices at par or cheaper than the two other…read moregas stations nearby. On Wednesdays they have a gas sale with 5 cents off too! The pumps have clips on the handles so you can keep your hands warm in your pockets on cold days. They also have TV screens at the pump. I haven't been in the store to rate it.
